The thing about Captain Hook is that he isn't so strong, it's just that he has a ton of 0 cards. To counter this, yeah, firaga helps, but also use the strategy of not letting him break your cards with his 0s, you just have to time your attacks really well. Hope that helped

Oh and if you're playing the 3D version, make sure to hide behind the mast when he does his barrel attack.

Use the Jafar enemy card so he can't break your combos.

This is especially useful after he plays the Pirate enemy card, making all his cards 0s.

Hook takes no damage from Thunder, I'm afraid. Though I'm not clear on whether or not the Raid moves do all-elemental damage or elemental-and-physical damage in CoM - either way, it's clearly not ideal. If you can grab Fire Raid from a Monstro Bounty room, or already have it, that would be preferable.
