Better question is why people still think there are 3 new games? Nomura said there are 2 new games other than KH3. Meaning KH3 isn't in development yet and there are only 2 new games. One of the 2 new games is Re:Coded, and the other one is yet to be announced.

I kinda think that's lame they're coming with a game the announced three years ago and are labeling it as new game, because it's a remake/port. Instead of giving us 2 completely new games, which I think most of us would prefer as the NA special game...

I don't i'm glad Re:Coded is one of the 2 he spoke of, it makes things less confusing.

we'll i'm happy they're bringing it over sea but still if they're truly referring to this as a new game i'll fee a little l cheated on. So now there are two kind of game he wants to make and just on more game he'll bring out, he said he wanted to do a game with multiple scenarios and one with a new protagonist but i guess he could combined the two but that would ruin my hopes of getting a Sora/Riku/Kairi game any time soon...

For the sake of clarity because I'm still a bit confused.

There are 2 games to be developed in the future as was mentioned in the Ultimania and the GI interview. One of them, which I assume is currently in development, is Re:Coded. The other would be some other title.

As for KHIII, it is neither in development nor a confirmed game as of yet (Nomura made it a point that it wasn't). In other words, the only games we know that are coming out sometime in the future will be Re:Coded and whatever the other game is.

You really think Nomura would make an entire new game just for NA? And you think he would have had a whole new game up his sleeve ready to be distributed this year without any PR or anything?

I thought it was kind of obvious from the moment he said in the Ultimania interview that he hoped to release it this year that it was going to be a remake or a compilation or something he wouldn't have to make from scratch anyway.

To add to that, the 'other title' is apparently going to have multiple stories like BBS and at the time he had the Ultimania interview he was planning to release it next year.

Good point, but well I though he meant with a bigger western influence... also I kinda hoped it was in the works for a while and just not announced so that they could bring it out soon after announcing it. In my opinion, don't call something new if it's already made, call it a remake or something not a new game....

didn't he also mention a new protagonist? If you ask me there are enough protagonist in the series as is so maybe he dropped it.

no not really, but it's not to farfetched to say, it is what they consider a new game... after all it's not the same, even though the story is and the gameplay more or less is too... it on another console and there are things added to the story...

if we're lucky there will be a secret ending or maybe some pic like they had in CoM foreshowing what's to come.

it's a term that appears at the end of the BBS secret ending, but we don't really know if any games are going to be named after it or anything. I assume Sora saving everyone from torment will be the plot to KH3
