Persona 4 One-Shot

Disclaimer: I don't own Persona 4.

The gang was on a bus, headed for the summit for their annual school trip this year.

"I'm so excited!" exclaimed Yukiko.

"We should go skiing the moment we get there!" said Chie.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea" said Yosuke, sarcastically while staring out the window.

"Why couldn't it have been the beach? Where all the hot babes are, wearing they're swim suits?" complained Yosuke, earning a whack on the head from Chie.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?" cried out Yosuke, rubbing his head in pain.

"I'm just glad we don't have to fight any more shadows" piped in Rise.

"At least its better than that camping trip, right sempai?" asked Kanji.

"Yeah" said Yuu.

"It's too bad Teddie couldn't come with us" said Yukiko, after a moment of silence.

"Your kidding right?" asked Yosuke.

"Why not? We could have taught him how to ski and drink hot cocoa" said Chie.

"Have no fear! Teddie is here!"

"Oh no, please tell me, one of you didn't actually bring him along?" whined Yosuke.

"Don't look at me, I didn't bring him along" said Kanji, equally surprised as Yosuke.

Teddie having been hiding in one of the passenger seats, got up and took a seat next to them with a smile on his face.

All three girls shared an uneasy smile and looked away guilty.

"I can't believe the three of you brought him" said Yosuke.

"Why you being so cold, Yosuke?" asked Teddie.

"I told you, you should have waited Yukiko!" whispered Chie.

"I can't help it! He looks so cute in that outfit we picked out for him" whispered Yukiko.

"It would be a shame, if we didn't bring Teddie along" whispered Rise.

"How did you even get him on the bus?" asked Yosuke.

"That's for us to know only" said Chie, folding her arms across her chest.

"And its to late now to turn around now" pointed out Rise.

"Hey guys! Look we're finally here!" said Kanji.

The bus came to a stop and everyone aboard came off.

"I-It's freezing!" cried out Rise.

"We s-should go inside for some hot cocoa first" said Yukiko, her teeth chattering from the cold.

"You two go ahead. I'm pumped up and ready to go skiing!" said Chie, moving back and forth in excitement.

"Since you three brought Teddie along, your in charge of him" said Yosuke.

"No way! He can't stay with us!" said Chie, hotly.

"Why don't you two race it out on the summit?" asked Yuu.

"Yeah let's do it!" said Chie.

Yosuke grabbed ahold of Yuu's arm and whispered "Do you really want us, to have to babysit Teddie?".

"Hey uh guys, me and Teddie are going in for some hot cocoa" said Kanji.

Not receiving an answer, Kanji shrugged and headed inside with Teddie in tow.

"Well? Are we gonna do it or what?" asked Chie, impatiently.

"Yeah" said Yuu.

Together the three of them got on the ski lift, carrying them to the top.

"You sure you want to do this, Yosuke?" asked Chie.

"Of course I do! I'm not babysitting Teddie on our school trip!" said Yosuke.

Yuu could feel the tension in the air, having been squished in the middle between them on the ski lift.

Thinking about breaking said tension, two options appeared in midair before him.

Option 1. Side with Yosuke and probably get thrown off the ski lift by Chie.

Option 2. Don't say anything and hope everything works out for the best.

Yuu picks option 2.

"Let's get this over with" said Yosuke, as the lift came to a stop.

"You two are so going down!" said Chie, hopping off and lining up besides Yosuke.

"So whoever gets to the bottom first wins, right?" asked Yosuke, as Yuu ski's over to them.

"Right" said Yuu, lining up next to them.

"Ready...? Go!" shouted Chie, pushing off and skiing down the hill.

It was neck and neck between the three of them, about a quarter of the way down an explosion sounded behind them.

"What was that?!" cried out Chie, coming to a stop down the hill first.

"I-Is that a... Avalanche?" asked Yosuke, eyes widening in alarm at the blur of white rushing down at them from the summit.

"We're screwed!" cried out Chie, bursting into tears.

In the heat of the moment, Burn my Dread started playing in the back ground out of nowhere, while Yuu adjusted his glasses in a cool like manner.

Four new options appeared before Yuu.

Option 1. Slap Chie silly.

Option 2 Do nothing.

Option 3. Scream for your lives and hope you don't die.

Option 4. Grab ahold of them both in a hero like manner and get the hell out of there!

Yuu picks option 4.

"He's right Chie. Get up or were all goners!" shouted Yosuke.

Together the three of them make there way off the summit in time to avoid the oncoming avalanche.

"That was a close one" said Chie, bending over in relief.

"Seeing how Yuu just saved our lives, he gets to choose who babysits Teddie" said Yosuke.

"Agreed" said Chie, standing up right with a smile on her face.

Both stare at Yuu, waiting for his answer.

Yuu glances back at the Ski lodge inn behind them, where they would be staying for the remainder of they're trip with longing.

Option 1. Say you need some hot cocoa first before making the decision.

Option 3. Pick Yosuke, seeing how he cheats off your answers in school and it would serve him right to babysit Teddie.

Option 4. Did you notice I purposely skipped option 2 to see if you were paying attention? Not staring off to the side like a space cadet, like you do half the time?

Yuu looked bewildered by option 4 and picked option 1.

"Yeah, it's freezing out here. Let's do that" said Chie, cheering up with enthusiasm.

"I think I need to use the bathroom" said Yosuke, wincing in pain.

All three of them hurried inside, where they're friends we're waiting for them to come inside.

"Where we're you guys?" asked Rise, handing Chie some hot cocoa.

"Skiing" said Yosuke, rushing to the men's restroom.

"If you guys don't mind, I'll watch Teddie" said Kanji.

Yuu let out a breath of relief, seeing how Kanji was willing to take Teddie off everyones hands.

"I just remembered! Naoto isn't here with us!" said Yukiko.

"Think Naoto said, she was helping the police with another investigation" said Chie, sipping her hot coca generously.

"That sucks" said Yosuke, returning from the bathroom.

"Not like she's missing much, it's pretty cold out here" said Kanji.

"Had it been the beach, we could have finally seen her in a bikini" said Yosuke, dreamily.

"What, are we not good enough for you? Is that what your saying?" demanded Chie.

Yuu backed up a few steps wanting to stay completely out of this, which unfortunately drew everyone's attention.

"What do you think, sempai?" asked Kanji.

Yuu felt like the universe was purposely punishing him for some unknown deed he committed. He couldn't be more right.

Option 1. Your screwed no matter how you answer that.

Yuu face palmed himself and just walked away with defeat.

"Hey wait! Where you going?" called out Rise, hands on her hips.

Outside the Ski Lodge

Snow was steadily coming down around Yuu, as he sat down on a log.

A police car pulled up and speak of the devil, Naoto showed up in the flesh.

"What are you doing, sitting out here, sempai?" asked Naoto, taking a seat next to him.

"Watching the snow fall" said Yuu.

Naoto cuddle up besides Yuu and together they watched the snow fall.

Yuu quietly thanked the universe for this perfect moment.

Akatsuki One-Shot

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

Ever since the baby phase Konan has gone into, the Akatsuki members have been on there toes, afraid of what Konan will do next. Surprisingly, Konan was gone for twelve months without so much as a word of why she left the hideout. To say the least it was a relief to everyone except Tobi.

Everyone having returned from there missions, was gather in the Meeting Room discussing what they're next objective to the nine tails was, when Pain decided to make an announcement.

"I have something to tell all of you" said Pain, loudly enough for everyone within the room to hear.

"Are we getting a new member?" asks Sasori, ignoring the horrified stares from everyone around him.

"Sasori, you can't just bring that up un!" hissed out Deidara, knowing the subject could be a sore spot for Pain.

"Is it about Konan, sempai? Tobi misses Konan" said Tobi, cheerfully, not realizing what he just done by mentioning Konan.

Deidara quickly clamped a hand over Tobi's mouth telling him to "Shut up or I'll feed you to Zetzu un!".

"No, we're not getting a new member Sasori" said Pain, already feeling a headache coming on.

"Well don't keep us in suspense, Pain" said Kisame, tired of playing these mind games.

Everyone waited for an answer, when none came some of them became impatient from the lack of an answer.

"For crisis sakes! I can't take the tension in this bloody room anymore!" shouted Hidan, slamming his fist down on the table.

"Still the same as ever Hidan, not much has changed since I've been away" spoke a feminine voice from within the shadows.

"Don't tell me, She's back!" shouted Kazuku, voicing what everyone else was thinking within the room.

Stepping out of the shadows was Konan, holding a bundle in her arms.

"Not this again un" said Deidara, letting his head hit against the table in a satisfying thunk.

"Didn't you miss me?" asks Konan, sweetly.

"Tobi missed you! Tobi wasn't like everyone else! Everyone said good riddance when you were gone but not Tobi!" said Tobi, earning plenty of glares all around him.

"Did they now, we'll have to fix that. Won't we Tobi" said Konan, smirking at the horrified looks on everyone's faces.

"When I get my hands on that orange lollipop of a bastard, I'll kill him!" said Hidan, seething.

"Get in line un!" protested Deidara, already grabbing a handful of clay.

"What a suck up" muttered Itachi, agreeing for once with everyone within the room.

"Do it outside! I don't want to pay for your bloody expenses again!" shouted Kazuku.

"Shut up! All you freakin care about is your money" said Hidan, grabbing hold of his scythe.

Pain having had enough of this ridiculous chatter, did a few hands signs than pointed his hands outward and said "Almighty Push".

Everyone within the room was smacked into a wall except for Pain and Konan who stood in the center of the room.

"What the bloody hell was that for?!" shouted Hidan, picking himself up off the ground.

"I believe I still have an announcement to make" said Pain, placing a hand protectively over Konan's shoulder.

Everyone zoned in on the bundle Konan was holding protectively close to her chest before staring in disbelief at there leader.

Don't tell me, that they actually had a BABY!? That all that time Konan was gone was because.. she was having a baby! With Pain!

"Now then, I'm sure all of you are wanting to know what Konan is doing with a baby in her arms" said Pain, carefully trying to break the news to his men.

"We had a baby. So if you so much as harm a single hair on her head, you will be sorry" said Konan, not kidding around whatsoever.

Everyone sweat dropped and stiffen in shock at the news.

"This is some kind of joke right? You two really didn't have a baby, right?" said Kisame, the first to recover from shock.

"Yeah, that's it. Some kind of joke you two conspired against us" said Sasori, getting a raised eyebrow from Pain.

"Are you guys a bunch of idiots?" asked Konan, a second later.

"What's her name?" asks Itachi, approaching the two with renew respect.

"Shion Uzumaki" said Konam, handing her baby girl to Pain.

"The meeting is over, Konan will take her place among us once more as an Akatsuki member" said Pain, rocking the baby in his arms gently.

Following Day After

"We need to get rid of that freakin baby" said Hidan, having gotten no sleep last night.

"You heard what Konan said, its hopeless un" said Deidara, collapsing face first on there couch.

"Maybe we can convince Zetzu to eat it" said Sasori, walking into the room.

"I'm not eating that baby" said White Zetzu, popping out of the floor.

"Were not a garbage disposal" added in Black Zetzu.

"Were not going to get any sleep at this rate" said Itachi, feeling sluggish this morning.

"Get Tobi to do it" said Deidara, completely serious.

"One less idiot to deal with and none of us will feel sorry thats he's gone" said Sasori, agreeing with Deidara.

"Would like to see how you two pull it off using Tobi for the job" said Itachi, tiredly.

"How hard can it be?" asks Kisame, seeing the discourage looks on there faces.

"Damn it! We're ninjas! We should be able to pull it off!" shouted Hidan, grabbing hold of his scythe and feeling the need to spill some bloody.

"Pull what off?" asked Konan, walking into the room with Shion in her arms.

Everyone within the room paled at the sight of Konan with a smile on her face.

Pain came in behind her looking worse for wear.

"All of you are in charge of taking care of Shion today. No questions asked" said Pain.

Seeing how they were just handed an opportunity to get rid of Shion, they weren't about to turn it down.

Hearing no one protest, Pain thought nothing of it and was glad to relieve his father duties for a few hours.

"Can Tobi go first?" asked Tobi, bouncing into the room energetically.

"Sure, just be careful with her Tobi" said Konan, handing Shion to him.

"Were going out to get some groceries, we'll be back in a few hours" said Pain, bounding out the door with Konan on his heels.

"Tobi will be extra careful! Shion so soft!" exclaimed Tobi.

Everyone zoned in on the baby in Tobi's arms now that Konan and Pain were gone, hoping he would actually drop it or something.

Mind theater

Tobi throwing the baby in the air and accidentally dropping it.

"Oops" said Tobi, catching nothing but air.

Konan walks into the room and lets out a scream.

Pain rushes in and kills Tobi.

Reality

Tobi was rocking it back and forth much to everyone's displeasure.

Deidara got up from his seat and started hitting his head against a wall thinking "For once we actually want you to be your obnoxious self, you lollipop idiot! Instead you do the exact opposite!"

"Now that they're gone, let's discuss the plan" said Itachi, rising from his seat and getting everyones attention.

"Let's not discuss it in front of you know who first" said Kisame, taking Itachi's lead.

"What plan? Is Tobi part of the plan?" asks Tobi, staring at everyone around him.

Deidara stop pounding his head against the wall and smiled bright at Tobi "Yes, you are Tobi. Your part of our special plan today, un".

Tobi kept still while holding Shion but looked at everyone frantically over and over asking "What does Tobi get to do!?".

"Come with me un" said Deidara, grabbing hold of his wrist but not before making Tobi set Shion down.

Maniac laughter echo off the hallways as they disappeared, sendings a few shivers down everyone's spines.

Once the both of them were gone, Sasori picked up the baby and asked "Who wants to go first?".

"We can make it an accident, feed it plant poisoning" suggested Kazuku, using any method that didn't involve money.

"Let's do that one first" said Itachi, going into the kitchen and whipping up a bottle of powder milk with plant poisoning in it.

"Here you go" said Itachi, handing Sasori the bottle.

"Bottoms up kid" said Sasori, placing the bottom close enough to feed the baby.

Unfortunately the baby started to cry and knocked the bottle away from Sasori's hands.

Zetzu having been standing to close to watch, ended up consuming the bottle whole and instantly killing himself off.

"Crap! The baby just killed Zetzu!" shouted Hidan, in absolute horror.

"He's a plant, we can just replant him again later and he'll come back" said Kazuku.

"Now what?" asked Kisame.

"Try using kunai" suggested Sasori, handing Itachi the baby.

"How about a game of darts?" said Itachi, at last before placing Shion on the table.

Five minutes later

"Can't you do better than that?" asks Sasori, almost on target.

"What kind of bloody ninja are you?" asked Hidan, throwing a kunai at the table and missing.

"Can't you see the target Itachi?" asks Kisame, waiting for his turn.

"Fine you do better" said Itachi, crossly and flinging his kunai at Kisame.

"I will" said Kisame, grinning his shark tooth grin and catching hold of the kunai.

"What are you boys doing and where's Tobi?" asked Konan, having returned from grocery shopping with Pain.

Crap, we can't talk our way out of this one!

"H-Hey Konan, we were just uh.. It's... IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" said Kisame, cracking under the pressure of Konan's gaze.

"What are you idiots going on about now?" asked Konan, a second later taking in the room.

"My beautiful Shion! Daddies home!" said Pain, sweeping into the room and picking up Shion playfully.

Cue another Mind Theater

"I love you so much Shion!" exclaimed Pain, squeezing her into a hug.

Splat.

"MY BABY!' screamed Konan, killing Pain for accidently killing Shion.

Reality

A laughing Pain cuddling his daughter close to his face.

What has she done to our leader? She's made him into some lovable monster! Our eyes how they burn!

Tobi came running out of the hall way with Deidara on his tail throwing bombs at him.

"Get back here! Deidara sempai isn't don't playing with you yet!" shouted Deidara, laughing like a mad man.

"Tobi doesn't understand! What kind of game is this?!" shouted Tobi, running behind Konan and using her as a shield.

While Konan and Pain was distracted, Sasori grabbed hold of Zetzu and quickly replanted him with an antidote for the plant poisoning.

"Fear me!" threaten a tiny growing Zetzu.

"Shut up you stupid plant" hissed Hidan, kicking the potted plant Zetzu over.

Five years later

Shion was running around the hide out and pulling pranks among the Akatsuki members.

Sasori happen to be in the kitchen whipping up some cookies for everybody when Shion walked in with a evil glint in her eye.

"Sasori, can I have a cookie please?" asked Shion, peering at him with an innocent smile.

"After dinner Shion" said Sasori, refusing to fall for her innocent smile.

"Just give her a cookie Danna" said Deidara, sitting in a stool watching the scene play out.

Shion bursted into tears at his refusal that Sasori started apologizing.

"Sasori.. Sniff. Please.. Just one!? You can be so mean!" cried out Shion, falling to her knees and crying.

"Here, I'm sorry Shion" said Sasori, handing her a cookie.

"Really?" asked Shion, peering at him with one eye.

"Thank you Sasori!" said Shion, cheerfully dropping her innocent girl act before snatching the cookie and punching him in the stomach.

Sasori doubled over in shock as a look of triumph crossed Shions face.

"Why that little brat!" screeched Sasori, getting up to murder her.

"Told you so, un" said Deidara, falling out of his chair laughing.

End

Durarara One-Shot

Downtown Ikebukuro

Celty was out riding her bike in the rain, when she caught sight of a gang of yellow scarves harassing two kids.

"Give me your money kid!" shouted Horada, grabbing the front of the boy's shirt and lifting him off the ground.

"I told you, I don't have any money" said the boy, struggling in his grip.

"Masaru!" cried out the little girl, being held back by Horada's thugs.

"Than what's in that bag of yours, eh kid?" asked Horada, dropping Masaru onto the ground.

Coughing Masaru looked sideways at his sister Hanna, watching her clutch the bag closely to her chest as Horada stepped forward.

"Ha..Hanna run!" shouted Masaru, getting a kick to the stomach from Horada.

"Shut up, kid! If that girl of yours knows what's best for her, she'll hand over that bag" said Horada, pulling out a switch knife from his pant pockets.

"Don't.. You..cough.. Touch her!" said Masaru, clutching his stomach in pain.

Masaru tried getting up but a foot came down hard on his back and kept him sprawled against the gravel with a grunt.

"In case you get any ideas and try anything" said Horada, seeing the kids look of disgust on his face and the anger burning in his eyes.

Masaru watched in horror as Horada turned around and knelt down in front of Hanna, making it hard for him to see what was happening.

"Now hand over the bag, baby doll. Unless you want to watch your friend get hurt?" said Horada, making an impatient hand gesture at her to hand it over.

Celty having seen the whole thing was furious, that it was just her luck Shizou happen to be out with Tom that evening.

"Who you calling a baby doll, eh Horada?" said Shizou, removing his shades and tucking it into his vest pocket.

"B-Boss.. I-It's Shizou.. Shizou Heiwajima!" stuttered one of the thugs, pointing a shaky finger at Shizou.

"Thugs like you make me sick and you know how much I hate violence!" said Shizou, cracking his knuckles with a scary smile on his face.

Celty came up behind Shizou, summoning her scythe into her right hand and pointing it straight at them.

"Sh**! It's the black rider! Boss let's get out of here!" said another thug, making a break for it.

Only Shizou grabbed hold of the thug and sent him flying with a punch to the stomach.

Masaru felt the foot on his back give way thanks to Celty and felt the tension leave his body knowing they were saved from these guys.

Shizou grabbing a vending machine sent it hurtling at the pair of thugs, trying to get a swing at him with their baseball bats.

Horada backed away from the duo before breaking into a run and trying to escape the other way when..

"Now just what makes you think your getting away, oh so easily?" said Izaya Orihara, not about to miss out on this.

"Move it Orihara!" yelled Horada, drawing his arm back to punch Izaya in the face.

"I think not" said Izaya, dodging out of the way and sneaking up behind him with his knife.

Horada feeling a blade pressed against his throat stiffen in fear "I believe you have something of mine, I would like it back" said Izaya, darkly.

A bead of sweat went down the side of Horada's face, that he felt his arm pulled back at a strange angle and let out a grunt of pain.

"Alright! Alright! Here's your stupid knife! Now let me go!" yelled Horada, gritting his teeth in pain and dropping the knife onto the ground from where he stood.

"Are you done playing with him flea?" asked Shizou, holding a street sign in his left hand.

"I got what I've came here for, so you can have him now" said Izaya, turning Horada around and pushing him forward.

Horada having went sprawling forward onto the ground shot back up to yell "You damn info broker!" before his attention was brought back down onto the street sign crushing the ground between his legs.

"I think you might want to worry a little less about him and worry about what I'm about to do to you" said Shizou, grabbing Horada off the ground with one hand before turning around to face Celty.

"I'm going to take care of some trash, you can handle it from here, right Celty?" said Shizou, dragging Horada behind him by his shirt collar.

Celty nodded in answer, before kneeling down besides a shaken Hanna and showing her phone to ask "You okay? Your not hurt anywhere are you?".

Hanna nodded and whispered softly "No, I'm not hurt".

Masaru was in completely awe of the famous Shizou Heiwajima showing up to save him and his sister from the thugs, that he finally got up off the ground an limped over to his sister.

Celty could see the brotherly love the boy held for his sister before noticing the scratches covering his body.

Typing quickly Celty said "You should get looked at. Come with me, I have a friend who can fix you up, alright?".

Hanna looked to her older brother in question, watching Masaru swallowed the lump in his throat before saying "Okay".

Celty set Hanna down in front of her on the bike because she was so small, while Masaru got on back. Together the three of them made they're way back to Shinra's place carefully.

Shinra's Apartment

"Now don't be afraid, he's a really nice guy, once you get to know him" said Celty, before opening the door to the apartment she shared with Shinra.

Shinra hearing the door to the apartment open, eagerly waited for Celty to come into the bedroom by calling out "In here Celty!".

Celty gesture for the two kids to take a seat but not before checking up on Shinra to see what he was doing.

Opening the bedroom door, Celty instantly shut the door closed when she saw Shinra on the bed wearing nothing but boxers shorts with a rose between his teeth asking "Well? What do you think Celty?".

"Aw, C'mon Celty! I thought for sure you would go for it!" protested Shinra, watching they're bedroom slam shut in answer.

Celty shook her head in disbelief listening to Shinra move around on the other side of the door, probably trying to get dressed.

Grabbing some towels out of a closet, Celty eyed the bag in the entrance hallway the two kids wouldn't hand over earlier to the yellow scarves.

Dropping the towels next to the kids, Celty walked into the kitchen to make some tea for them when Shinra bursted out of the bedroom.

"Celty, you know I was just trying to-" trailed off Shinra, seeing two kids turn around to look at them.

Seeing a golden opportunity Shinra adjusted his glasses before plastering a scary smile on his face.

"Now just who do we have here? Some patients for me to experiment on?" said Shinra, cackling with glee and edging closely enough to freak them out.

Both Masaru and Hanna cowered in fear at the sight of Shinra.

Celty whacked Shinra over the head getting a painful yelp from him before typing rapidly to yell at him.

"Shinra! Stop scaring them! It's bad enough they had a run in with the yellow scarves! Can't you see they're terrified and exhausted!".

"Okay-Okay Celty, I'll stop now" said Shinra, rubbing his head in pain.

Celty gently set a hand down on both kids heads, ruffling they're hair and noticing the towels were left untouched.

Picking one up, she started to dry Hanna off.

Hearing a piercing whistle from the boiling tea pot, Shinra went to take care of it before calling out "I'm Shinra and that there is Celty".

Getting dried off by Celty, Masaru was handed a mug of hot tea from Shinra before watching him collapse in a nearby chair.

"Go ahead, it's safe to drink" said Shinra, getting out his medical kit.

Hanna looked to her brother for permission before slowly drinking her warm tea, and feeling instantly better.

"So... Celty tells me you had a run in with the yellow scarves" said Shinra, striking up a conversation.

Having went to take a shower, Celty typed on her laptop before handing it to Shinra to relay her message.

"Why we're you two out in the rain? Shouldn't you both have been home by then?" said Shinra, reading it aloud and raising his eyebrow in question.

Neither one of them spoke and looked down at the floor.

"I never got around to asking you your names either" said Shinra, seeing a strange expression cross the boys face.

"I'm Masaru... This is Hanna, my sister" said Masaru, feeling Hanna's small hand tighten over his own.

"Well lets get you cleaned up and better, we can talk about it later" said Shinra, wiping alcohol over Masaru's scratches to keep it from getting infected.

"Can you.. Look at my ankle please?" asked Masaru, wincing in pain from the stinging sensation of the alcohol on his face.

Shinra gently prodded his ankle with a few fingers earning a small gasp from Masaru and could tell it was sprained.

"Let me bandage this up and the swelling should go down in a few days" said Shinra, hearing the water shut off from the bathroom.

Celty came out with a towel in her hand, feeling better now that she was warm and looked Shinra's way to see if got anything out of the kids.

Shinra shook his head before grabbing some pillows and blankets for the kids to use for the night.

Once they were settle down, Shinra took Celty by the elbow to talk.

"That bag of theirs, probably contains they're food and clothes" said Shinra, after listening to her describe what happened.

"You mean they're homeless?" asks Celty, surprised.

"Most likely, I'll ask Izaya more about it later to find out" said Shinra, leaning against a wall.

"Does this happen often? Can we take them in?" asked Celty, crossing her arms and pacing back an forth.

"It does happen but not often in places like Ikebukuro" said Shinra, flipping his phone open to call Izaya.

"Shinra, what a surprise" said Izaya, picking up on the first ring.

"Can you tell me if there been any missing person reports recently?" asks Shinra, hearing typing in the background.

"Guessing those kids from earlier are homeless" said Izaya, scanning his computer screen.

"Mostly likely... Well find anything?" said Shinra, seeing Celty was getting impatient.

"Tell your dullahan to calm down, I'm reading it now" said Izaya, seeing nothing has been reported for some time.

"Good news is theres nothing to report, so they're all yours to deal with" said Izaya, a moment later and shutting his computer down.

"This probably isn't the first time they've ran away" said Shinra, speaking his thoughts aloud.

"Was thinking the same. Now if you want me to dig up further, you know I expect some sort of payment" said Izaya, staring out his window.

"Payment? No, this makes us even Izaya. Now goodbye" said Shinra, hanging up before Izaya could protest.

"So we're keeping them?" asked Celty, holding her hands together as if begging him to.

"Yes, but just these two Celty. So don't go bringing anymore strays home" said Shinra, yelping in surprise at the arms wrapping around his waist.

"Thank you, Shinra" said Celty.

"Anything for you, Celty" said Shinra, turning beat red.

Together they too turned in for the night and looked forward to the following morning, to give the kids good news.

End

Epilogue

At first Masaru wasn't willing to stay with Shinra and Celty, but thanks to Hanna protesting, the two of them finally found a home with loving parents.

Rofl it's okay Gram, it's just makes it all the more hilarious because I totally forgot about sokka doing that himself in that one episode X'D

"So where to next Saburo?" asks Kyohei, sitting in the passenger seat like always.

"Yeah! Are we going to Simon's tonight?" said Walker, leaning over the passenger seat to look at him.

"Nu uh, I bet Saburo wants to get some tickets for a Ruri concert, right Dotachin?" said Erika, slyly.

"Don't call me Dotachin!" said Kyohei, looking over his shoulder at her.

"Well Saburo? Where we going?" asks Walker.

"To get tickets before Ruri concert is sold out again!" said Saburo, pressing the gas pedal down and the van accelerated.

"What about Kazutano? Couldn't he have hooked you up with some tickets?" asks Kyohei.

"It's tradition! It wouldn't be tradition if I didn't try getting tickets like the average person!" said Saburo, getting cut off by a car.

"DID THAT GUY JUST CUT ME OFF? I THINK HE DID!" shouted Saburo, pushing the gas pedal down further and wouldn't let it off.

"Saburo! Slow down!" said Erika, falling over onto Walker's lap.

"Yeah!" said Walker, holding Erika close to her keep her steady.

"Nobody cuts me off! It's an insult to the van!" said Saburo, gripping the steering wheel tightly.

"Saburo it's a van not a race car. Besides your not going to get a Ruri concert ticket at this rate" said Kyohei.

The van came to a screeching halt that it left tire tracks on the ground as it turned to the right.

Kyohei hit his head hard against the back of his seat before letting out a few quiet curses.

"Crap! Almost forgot about Ruri's concert!" said Saburo, earning groans from everybody else.

"You know it just occurred to me, why don't we wear seat belts?" asks Walker, earning a laugh from Erika.

"Cause if we did, we wouldn't have enough room for all our manga!" said Erika.

"Oh right. Even the life size cutout of Misaki and Usui-kun wouldn't fit if we did" said Walker.

"You two and your manga" said Kyohei, shaking his head at the two of them with a smile on his face.

"Aw, C'mon Dotachin, you gotta admit that Kaichou wa Maid sama is good" said Erika, eyes glinting with stars.

"Yeah! Your ears turned red the moment you started reading it!" said Walker, pulling something out of his backpack.

"We even got the actual outfit Misa-chan wears too!" said Walker, proudly.

"P-Put that away! And quit calling me Dotachin!" sputtered Kyohei, embarrassed by it.

"So what time does the ticket booth open Saburo?" asks Erika, picking up some of her scatter manga off the floor.

"Not sure! Have a flyer lying around here somewhere" said Saburo, keeping his eyes on the road and making a sharp left turn.

"Are you sure it's even today?" asks Kyohei, having a bad feeling about this.

"Positive! I could never forget a Ruri concert!"

"That doesn't inspire much confidence" muttered Kyohei, searching the van floor for said flyer.

"Found it!" said Erika, handing the flyer to Kyohei.

Much to Kyohei's relief the tickets were being sold tonight at eight thirty.

"We got ten minutes before the ticket booth opens" said Saburo, making another sharp turn only to come to a complete halt.

"What the- WHAT ARE ALL THESE CARS DOING HERE!" shouted Saburo, seeing car after car lined up on the street.

"Looks like everyone in Ikebukuro wants to see that Ruri concert" said Kyohei.

"Or they could be filming another movie here for Yuhei Heiwajima" said Erika, peering out the windows.

"Yeah, isn't there suppose to be a new movie coming out sequel to the last one he did?" asks Walker, looking out of the same window.

"No matter! Kyohei you take the wheel! I'm getting those tickets even if it kills me!" said Saburo, getting out of the van and dashing through the streets.

"What? Wait! Saburo!" called out Kyohei, only to have it fall on deaf ears.

"This can not end well" said Kyohei, a moment later as he hopped into Saburo's seat.

"So now what are we going to do Dotachin?" asks Erika.

"Going to park the van somewhere and go after Saburo" said Kyohei, steering the van out of traffic.

"You know by the time he gets there, it will probably be sold out right Kyohei?" asks Walker.

"Just like the last time and the time before that" said Erika, brightly.

"Yeah" answered Kyohei, knowing he had a long night ahead of him.

After parking the van, the three of them walked down a few blocks to where they last saw Saburo. The moment they turned the corner the three of them could hear yelling and shouting from the massive crowds waiting to buy tickets.

"It's Mine!"

"Give it to me!"

"Let go!"

"Over here!"

"I have two tickets!"

Kyohei took one look at them and said "You know what, let's just wait over here" before walking away.

"Doesn't this remind of you of that one time we went to that one manga convention Erika?" asks Walker, trying to pass the time.

"Which one? The one where we were being squished together from everyone trying to get into the theater!?" said Erika, reminiscing.

"Yeah that one! It was totally worth it! We got those awesome collectables at the end" said Walker, digging around in his backpack again.

"Look the crowds are clearing out!" said Erika, pointing at them.

"Bet you five bucks Saburo didn't get the tickets" said Walker, hoisting his bag over his shoulder and giving Erika a twirl.

"Deal" said Erika, laughing.

"Let's go get him" said Kyohei, with a sigh.

In the center of the now abandon ticket booth lines was Saburo, looking defeated once again.

"I was so close this time!" said Saburo, hitting his fist over the pavement.

"Better luck next time Saburo" said Kyohei, kneeling down before him and dangling the keys in front of him.

"Pay up" whispered Walker, getting money handed to him by Erika.

"Hey we got Kazutano, I'm sure he's got some tickets he's looking to sell" said Kyohei, trying to cheer him up.

"I really wanted to get the Ruri tickets on my own this time" whined Saburo, snatching his keys from Kyohei's grip.

"Which is why... I'm not going anywhere until I do!" said Saburo, throwing his arm back and chucking his keys out into the road.

"Saburo! What did you think you were doing? Throwing your keys for?!" asked Kyohei, watching the color drain from Saburo's face.

"I don't know... WHY! WHY DID I HAVE TO THROW MY KEYS FOR!? I'M SUCH AN IDIOT!" shouted Saburo, realizing what he's just done.

"Now we're stranded" said Kyohei, face-palming himself before joining the search for Saburo's keys.

"I ought to kill you for throwing your keys" muttered Kyohei, unable to see them anywhere.

"They gotta be around here somewhere" said Walker, looking under cars.

"If we don't find them soon, were going to miss our only chance of meeting the voice cast of D.N.Angel!" exclaimed Erika, frowning.

"Who cares about your once in a life time meeting of a voice cast from your latest anime show, I have work tomorrow!" said Kyohei.

The three of them sent pointed glares at Saburo, who was too busy looking for his keys to notice them.

"Can I get the light novels out Erika?" asked Walker, after an hour of searching for Saburo's keys.

"Yes, it's time to bring out the light novels" said Erika, earning a light smack to the head by Kyohei.

"You don't use your torture devices on your friends, besides I locked the van up before we left so you can't get them anyhow" said Kyohei.

That earned a few whines out of the duo but not before hearing a gasp from Saburo.

"Hey guys! I think I found them!" shouted Saburo, seeing something shiny a few feet away.

"Really!? Great!" said Kyohei, hurrying after him.

"We're saved! We're saved! Now we can get out of here!" singsonged Erika and Walker.

Saburo seeing his keys sitting against a lamppost bent to retrieve them when a pair of soft looking hands beat him to it.

"Are these yours?" asked a feminine voice.

Saburo looked up to see the idol he worshipped standing right before him with his keys dangling from her hands.

"Y-Yes..T-Their M-mine" said Saburo, completely tongued tied.

"Saboru did you find them!?" called out Kyohei, spotting him and who was standing next to him.

"Your Ruri Hijiribe" said Saburo, earning a smile from his idol.

"Yeah that would be me. You must be one of my fans" said Ruri, handing Saboru his keys.

"I am, I mean I'm your biggest fan. Your concerts are amazing!" said Saboru, snapping out of his stupor awed state.

"Isn't your concert tomorrow?" asked Kyohei, surprised they were meeting Ruri of all people here.

"Yes it's tomorrow but I like to rehearse before the big night" said Ruri.

"W-We have a picture of you on the side of our van" said Saboru, wanting to show her it.

"You do?" asked Ruri, tilting her head curiously to emphasize the question.

"Yeah, you can meet the rest of us too" said Kyohei, seeing a good opportunity coming out of this.

"Sure! I can't stay long but that would be great!" said Ruri, tagging along besides a mouth dropping Saburo.

"Erika! Walker! We found the keys and guess who we got to meet!" called out Kyohei, watching the two of them peer around the other side of the van to look at him.

"It's Ruri! Saburo's number one idol!" said Erika, hurrying over to meet her.

"Saburo tells me my picture is on the side of the van" said Ruri.

"It's on the other side!" said Walker, gesturing over to her to come see.

Together the five of them looked at her picture on the side of Saburo's van before falling into a comfortable chatter amongst themselves.

"It was really cool bumping into one of my biggest fans. Wish I could stay longer to chat" said Ruri.

"Hey before you go, do you think you could hook Saburo up with a front row seat to watch you live?" asked Kyohei, knowing Saburo wouldn't ask.

"Sure! If all of you want to come, I can do that" said Ruri.

"Really!? Cool! I've always wanted to go see one of your concerts" said Walker.

"Me too!" said Erika.

"I had extra tickets anyways, so here" said Ruri, handing them to Saburo.

"Thanks" said Saburo, snapping out of it to thank her before she was out of ear shot.

"Your welcome! See you there Saburo!" called back Ruri, before running off to rehearse.

"You so owe me for this man" said Kyohei, punching Saburo lightly in the arm earning a few laughs all around.

"Must of been our lucky day" said Erika, excited to attend a Ruri concert.

The following day after, true to they're word, they watched Ruri perform live and Saburo could die a happy man.
