Arena: Barren Plain-- A flat expanse where many battles have taken place over the ages. The ground is dry and cracked, and vegetation and any other cover is scarce here. Two opposing forces meet here.
Special Conditions: Both Battlers are restricted to the character templates The Professor and I have created. CHARACTERS HAVE ALREADY BEEN CLAIMED. THERE WILL BE NO TRADING.
Restrictions: This is a one-on-one fight--though there are other soldiers involved, you are not allowed to gang them up on your opponent, nor are you allowed to kill members of your own army.

Name: Kal'zhirrak*
Title: The Corruptor
Age: Early Thirties
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Weapon: A plain bastard sword, enhanced with an element or single spell of your choice.
Ability(s): Gifted in nearly all aspects of magic, particulary in Evocation; his poorest skill lies in any sort of Healing ability or Life-Stealing. He has some worth of charisma about him, but against a determined opponent it is useless.
Appearance: Standing at around five feet and seven inches tall, he walks slightly hunched, in tattered, ill-kept robes of dark blue. Hair black as the night itself hangs to his shoulders, with grey streaks already beginning to appear, carving a nearly pale face of wretched tears. Blue eyes, once solemn, peer out in pure rage at anything which seems to be orderly, in the balance of nature, atop a hooked nose. Long fingers, attached to what appear to be too-small hands reach out with yellowed, sharp nails, a few of them broken or filed to points. Dark leggings are tucked into dirty, once finely cobbled leather boots, mud caked on the bottom of the foot.
Personality: A never-ending cycle of destruction follows in this madman's wake - the Corruptor knows only the end of civilization will bring him peace. He despises, yet fears secretly, those who are better than him, and always attempts to lead at the forefront of a charge, yet somehow finds his way to the back at some points.
He strives for omnipotence, yet falls into the pit of failings, never realizing that, unless one is at peace with themselves, they can never achieve their ultimate potential.

Title: The White Wind
Age: Unknown—Appears to be in her late Twenties
Race: Elf
Gender: Female
Weapon: An elaborate staff, with a white gem that serves to channel and enhance magic near the top.
Ability(s): Is gifted in many aspects of Magic, but specializes in defensive spells. She excels in healing, barrier and illusions spells, and her proficiency in the other schools of magic ranges from skilled to average. She has an aura of calm about her, which she uses to her advantage.
Appearance: A graceful being, she stands at about five feet and six inches tall. Dressed in a hooded green cloak, she walks proudly and holds her head high. Her hood hides long blonde hair, pointed ears and an almost feline grace, bright green eyes holding both a calming radiance and a fierce determination, the will to fight for what she believes to be right. White-gloved hands provide healing and comfort, but will also take up her staff for battle. Underneath her cloak, she wears lightweight leather armor over a simple brown tunic, and light tan leggings tucked into leather boots that match her armor, which remain remarkably clean considering the amount of traveling she’s done.
Personality: A bringer of Healing, she travels the world to rid it of corruption. She is a confident woman, though she doubts her ability to defend herself in battle even though she is very capable of doing so.
She abhors chaos and those who wreak havoc, and seeks to be rid of them and their evil. What she does not understand is that without evil, there is no balance, and without balance, the world would fall into the very chaos she strives to destroy.
