Hello,
I know it's been a while since I have been on this forum last. But I have a question regarding the currently-ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and its potential effect on the Kingdom Hearts series.
Based on my research, one of the companies struck by the union is Disney Character Voices, which is a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company. However, they seem to only be responsible for the translation and dubbing of Disney productions, like the films and theme parks. The group actually involved in video game development is Disney Interactive, which is not one of the struck companies.
My question is how exactly is the Kingdom Hearts series, specifically Missing-Link and KH4, going to be affected by the strike? Is it possible that anyone can actually work on the series during the strike? There are two conflicting elements to this:

- I am aware of the use of interim agreements being given to at least 80 different productions, though I have not heard Square Enix signing these agreements.
- I am aware of there being a cut off point of games that started development prior to September 2023 not being affected by the strike, so KH4 and ML should not be affected by this...unless it is actually meant to be voice recording production and not necessarily games that were in general development before then.
