Just a quick question about Coded, will this game play an important role in the Kingdom Hearts story? Ive just been reading about it in Wikipedia (heres the link: Kingdom Hearts coded - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

So, will I eventually have to play this game to get KH3 (when it comes out) or not?

Ive been a faithful fan, and have all the games up to this point, but I don't really want to play it on my phone

KH:Coded explains Rikus and King Mickeys absence for a year, and it is supposed to answer many questions about King Mickey's letter,so I think it will be important for anyone who wants to know the answers, but not that important for KH3

Yeah, playing Coded is not crucial to understand the story of KH3. Plus, even though it does look cool for a mobile phone game and I'm curious about the letter, I'm not that interested in playing it. I'll just Wiki the story once someone puts it up. Plus, I don't have a mobile phone and won't waste the money to play one game.

Really, the game shouldn't be important at all. It's a small bit of filler info about King Mickey and Riku were doing throughout KH1 and KH2. What's confusing is that the game takes place after KH2 ends, which is probably what makes you think that it could be crucial to KH3. But unless something happens in it that reveals something huge and amazing thing that we overlooked or never even heard about, it won't be.
