If u look very closely, Im in the corner of the sc
First off I thought that this would be the best place to post this but if a Mod belives that it should go elsewhere feel free to move it.

Okay so I'm looking to purchase a PSP and while there are other games that I know I will play on it, BBS is the main reason that I'm getting one. So what I would like to know is what is the best route to go.

1.) What system should I go with?-- Original, 1000, 2000, 3000
2.) Is it alright to buy used?
3.) What accessories would you recomend?
4.) Where should I buy from? I have looked at Gamestop, Best Buy, and eBay.
5.) I know there is a bundle from Gamestop but its a little too pricey for me at $199. I'm looking closer to $150 and lower

Thank you in advance on everybody's help.

1. ) My recommendation is either 2000 or 3000. They're particularly easy to come by, and are a lot lighter than the original 1000.
2. ) Yeah, just make sure that you're buying from a legit source.
3. ) I would recommend a pouch or a case and a USB connector to any PC. I recommend a 4GB or 8GB memory stick in case yours doesn't come with one.
4. ) I usually buy from in-store retailers, but online retailers are alright.
5. ) Standalone units are around that price range, might take some shopping to find, but I'm sure they're there.

1) If you want to save buy a 1000. Only 100 bucks at gamestop and cheaper online.
2) Sure, as long as you are sure the source is legit.
3)Car charger, carrying case, screen protecter, and memory sticks.
4)Gamestop if don't want to wait. Online if you don't mind.
5) PSP 100 is only a hundred bucks and everything else you need should work out to that price.

Wherever I am right now
1) It is your preference. Heres the breakdown on small features that each of them have:

1000 - cheapest in most cases, heaviest, cannot be connected to HDTV without modding
2000 - fairly cheap, slim and light, can connect to HDTV, better colors then 1000
3000 - slightly more expensive then 2000, same weight and look, can connect to HDTV, superior colors on screen

2) You can buy used, but generally people say it is best not too buy used from online because u can't test it.
3) Memory sticks, charger (car is optional)
4) If used, buy from local place, if online buy new

Wandering aimlessly through the blind eternities..
i'd recommend the 1000 if you're interested in homebrew and stuff like that, but im going to be getting the 3000 soon. my 1000 is on the fritz

id make sure to have a careful look at the system if you buy one second hand, and try to buy from a store if possible

as for accessories: a protective case, usb lead, memory stick (4 gig or higher), and one of them component cables to hook it up to a HD telly
