i know this may be a stupid question to some but why is it that when you are selecting your sig you have to do it by URL. why not just browse for files on your computer that you have saved

You could always upload those images to tinypic or imgur, get the url from there.

you ought to learn how to host images yourself, anyway. i imagine khi being able to host avatars alone must take a lot of bandwidth and money.
