(if you've ever played soul calibur 2 you'll get the sorta sense of where this battle comes from. A nun-chaku vs. a huge hammer instead of an axe. Maxi vs. Astaroth. Sounds like an echo of the game but Belltica's weapon hasn't been considered just yet i just decided to use it to make things interesting)

Belltica jumped straight at the charging bull that was Vaffin and smacked him one crack on the jaw with the nunchaku. This hurt a lot, even in his blind rage he knew that his jaw was most likely broken. Belltica then rolled on and turned around to see her opponent trying to soothe the pain she just inflicted. She started walking up to him slowly twirling the nun-chaku from hand to hand, he turned his head and saw his chance and tried to take it. He swung the hammer and tried to squash Belltica where she stood. She sidestepped this time and cracked the weapon of Vaffin's knuckles. His left hand now felt the throbbing pain. She was close enough so she decided to try and beat him back away from her weapon. It worked too as Vaffin tried to deflect the blows intended for his body with his hands instead. This clearly wasn't any better as he needed to find a way to fight against this raging machine instead of just taking the damage. He then managed to grab hold of her right arm. Shocked from the sudden strength that squeezed her arm Belltica stopped swing the nun-chaku. She was then thrown in a random direction from where she was. Vaffin had managed to throw her back in the ruined house through a gap that once was where the door lay. She landed hard off the cracked and broken wooden floor. Still clinging onto her weapons she managed to get herself back to her feet.
"Belltica..." Ossel managed to croack out.

Vaffin turned to see the body lying on the ground near him. It was that of the useless axeman. He wasn't in the mood to toy with him and so he just kicked him a considerable distance away from where he was lying. Vaffin then ran and puck up the hammer with his red hands. THey were still throbbing but if he didn't try and put her in her place they weren't going to be the only things that were red. He ran straight through the hole in the wall and stopped right before Belltica. She had took a swing with the nun-chaku and was caught off guard by the sudden stop of the towering beast. He then used the top of his hammer to inflict the damage and smacked belltica along the chest with it. She flew and collided with the wall behind her. Luckily it was made of wood, like the rest of the house, otherwise she'd have felt more pain than she had from that hammer. She lay there for a moment gasping for air. Then Vaffin grabbed Belltica's leg and lifted her off the ground. She was hung upside down for a moment. Vaffin looked at her and then threw her into the kitchen, beside the ruins of her friend. He clearly wanted to repeat what had happened to Jixil earlier.

(Thanx WM, can't wait til i focus on this story more in the summer hols, work should start from about 21st onwards. How fast it'll progress though i dunno. It will be my main priority during the summer so it won't stop at least. Without furthur delay here comes the close of the preview, thanx for taking the time to read everybody and good luck on your own projects if you are doing any)

Belltica, still gasped for air as she managed to at least get up a little bit. She shook her head tring to remove the slightly blurred vision she had. The thunderous feet of Vaffin were growing ever closer but she knew it was him before he even took the 1st one. She could tell by the heavy, angry breathing. He had wandered into the room and towered above her hammer in hand. He raised the weapon slowly he knew she was too weak from the landing to be able to have the energy to avoid the oncoming fall. She closed her eyes and hoped for it to be as quick and painless as her once living friend beside her. Jixil.

The hammer suddenly was forced out of his hands by a strong force. The angle of the force made Vaffins hands twist resulting in him dropping the huge weapon. He turned around in as much fury as a revenge stricken man losing another loved one. He saw what he hoped he wouldn't see on the ground beside him. An axe. Looking up slowly a wheezing man who he had kicked a fair bit away from him when he was outside. He had a grin on his face but it was twisted from the pain he was feeling every time he inhaled for much needed air. Vaffin had enough of the meddlesome fool and began to go up to him barehanded. In levels of exhaustion there was no winner however in terms of ability to fight there was a clear winner. He stopped right in front of the battered man and turned to see what he expected. Belltica had snuck out a window. Vaffin was definetly not pleased and turned back to face the wheezing man only to fell the slap of metal against his already injured mouth. If his jaw wasn't broken from the last blow it sure as hell was now. Vaffin actually staggered back and fell to the ground this time. All the time holding his face in complete pain.

Belltica was very fortunate he had fallen over. It bought her the time she needed to drag the half living man from where he was leaning against the once intact doorframe of the kitchen. She then flung him onto a nearby delivery carriage which was abandoned most likely due to seeing the towering man earlier. The crowd who were spectating from afar all this time were gone, however this wasn't noticed by her as she only had the intention of escaping with her remaining allies. She then managed to find Chanclet who had not moved at all from where he lay in the flowerbed. She was in the process of dragging him when the horses at the end of the carriage whinied in complete fear. She didn't need to look up to know he was up and coming back for more. She puck Chanclet up on her shoulders for a moment and left Chanclet in the carriage next to a jug full of milk. She then turned to see the foe she had been dealing with was right next to her. He took a swing of the hammer he reclaimed and managed to connect with a jug which splattered milk everywhere. The milk had went right into his face, all over both him and the now crouched and exhausted woman and the two men who lay next to it. Taking this opportunity Belltica jumped up to where the driver sits and cracked the whip. The horses were about to take off when a lud thunderous crash was heard behind them. Suddenly the horses were no longer pulling the carriage with aid of wheels. They were dragging an overturned carriage. Vaffin had shoulder charged the whole thing in his blindness and connected. The ground was now littered in milk, jugs, 2 men and one unconscious woman while one man rubing milk out of his face was left standing.

(thats the end of the preview thanx one last time for reading)
