Ken did the same thing and he wasn't banned for it nor were the people that were in on it, in fact it was pretty lulzy. The most PPK will get is an assload of nega rep for putting their friends up to this pathetic attempt at trolling and a lot of bitching from other members.

Overall it's just stupid, even if there is the slightest chance that PPK is dead (And that's a microscopic chance) announcing it without real detail or in a proper tone won't make anyone convinced.
