Arm the flame torches, I'm back with a new theory.
Okay, so, as we all know by now, Xion has been said repeatedly to be a nobody of a 'special birth', so this will deal with what, I believe, is a new theory of that birth.
As we remember, Sora unlocked his heart, giving birth to his nobody, Roxas. We have also learned, according to Nomura-sans own words, that "When Heartless are defeated, essentially the owner’s hearts are rejoined with their once extinguished body. However, in the rare case that the body changed into a Nobody and there is no container for the heart, it resorts to a state of suspension."
Now, we know that Sora Willingly destroyed his own body and gave up his heart to allow Kairi's to escape. Giving birth to his Nobody, Roxas. However, only minutes after this, Kairi returned Sora to form. Now what followed Roxas's birth? Why, the discovery of Another Nobody, one that looks suspiciously like both Sora AND Kairi.
But what makes Roxas and Xion so alike? What is it that makes them so much more likely to be related, than for Xion to be just another Nobody? Where should I start...
Xion Roxas
Dark blue hair, styled similarly to Kairi's. Blonde, spiky hair fashioned loosely like Sora's
Can wield The Keyblade. Can also wield the Keyblade. Also dual wield.
Has blue eyes and eyebrows resembling Sora's. Upon close inspection, eyes loosely resemble Kairi.
Okay, so they look alike, co-existed and could both wield not just Any keyblade, but Sora's, and before you say, "They do not look alike!" Try looking closely, there's definitely a resemblance, and the other things back up the idea that it's not just chance.
But again, How was Xion created? This is where it becomes Very jumbled, but my belief is that, given that Sora did Not have a form to return to, his heart should have entered a state of suspension, correct? Well, I think that somehow, by the power of the POH, Kairi restored Sora's form without him having a vessel, creating it out of nothing but her own memories, this strange 'reverse birth' gave rise to Xion, creating the parallel to what Sora now was, an embodiment of Kairi's own memories. and this helps to explain the phrase, "If this memory is linked to another... surely she can't endure it" Because by putting Sora together Fully, Xion would be destroyed.
