Sweet, that just adds more to the theory that the new region will be based off of Hawaii.

Also it mentioned "far away from Kalos" Maybe it and the new region wont be connected after all

Well it looked like a woodpecker, so Grass/Flying is a possibility.

Not totally impossible since no one would have figured the tiny Fletchling evolving into a Fire/Flying

If it is Hawaiian based, that means we'll actually have a decent selection of Fire pokemon! I can't wait to see the new starters and build up my team.

Wasn't Gen 4 the only gen that had a substantial lack of Fire types? There weren't that many in Fire types in Gen 6 either, but the rooster was small anyway.

Given that Hawaii is an island, I`m expecting a whole bunch of Water type Pokémon. I hope at least one is based on a Dolphin

Yeah, the only Fire type options you had in D/P were the Chimchar line, or Ponyta/Rapidash. Heck, the Fire Type Elite 4 member only had those two and three other non-fire types, just with fire type moves on them. That's kind of laughably lacking at that point. But they made up for it in Platinum.

Hopefully Gamestop will have the Red and Blue New 3DS when I go next weekend. I really want it ;_; and I'll actually have the money too.

If they don't, I'm still getting a New 3DS of some kind. Then buying Yellow.

I wonder what the Fire starter will be? I'd assume another animal from the Chinese Zodiac except the Fenneken line brock that theme.

She meant as a starter. Usually starter lines leads to a large form at the end of the evolution. I'd imagine a fire/flying again but in the shape and size of a that's comparably big. Small Bird, Pidgeot Size, then the final would be bigger. That'd be cool.

I just found out that the Vivillion they showed on the trailer was the Ocean Pattern. You can only get it from Hawaii and Reunion(close to Madagascar). Also if you zoom into one of the car plates you can see a rainbow, and what do you know Hawaii has that design as well.

But hey anything is game.

I think they should/will wait. We barely have any variety for Fairy types it feels.
