"This breeze feels amazing." said the voice of a young pokemon trainer. His name was Trea. He had been riding atop the back of his Flygon, heading for Slateport. Apparently some "League" had sent him a letter in the mail. Trea looked at the sky ahead of him, then down to his Sableye, sitting in front of him. Sableye had been there since the beginning, his starter, his best friend. Trea reached into his pocket, pulling out the letter that he got in the mail not to long ago.

Dear Trainer,

We have acknowledged you greatness in the profession of Pokemon. What you have accomplished is nothing to be overlooked, that's why we've created a "special" league on Summit Nine, a great, bustling metropolis. This league is for trainers who have gone far in the world, and have obtained the most powerful of Pokemon. This league will test you, and show the true Pokemon Master. If you accept this invitation, then please board the Blue boat in the Slateport harbor. That will take you to Summit Nine.

Trea stuffed the letter back in his pocket, and looked back the sky. He still found it a bit odd that there was no sender in the letter. He had been flying for some time now. "You ok Flygon?" He asked, patting the back of his dragon pokemon. "Flygon!" It yelled with excitement. Flygon darted down to the ground, did a spin, and Trea fell off, landing on his feet, Sableye by his side. "Slateport." He said, looking at the crowd that had gathered. He grabbed a small pokeball, pressing it's button as it expanded. Without looking, Trea had returned Flygon. "This is amazing." He said, walking into the crowd of people, Sableye jumping on his shoulders.

This was the letter that Cam recieved not too long ago. From who? The trainer didn't know, but she really didn't put much thought into it. For she was too excited that she was allowed into this new league. "Ok, I think it's this way . . . No, it's this way . . . Or maybe . . ." Geez, how hard was it to find a harbour? Well for Cam, it was very troublesome. And Noctowl, her pokemon that she was flying on, was even having some difficulty trying to follow the random directions being thrown at him each minute. However, the girl was determined to make it to the harbour in time, because this was the only way to get to the league.

Just when Cam was about give the owl pokemon yet another change in direction, she felt something nudge her side. She automatically knew who it was, and looked down to her right. Her eyes met with icy-blue ones that belonged to a Glaceon. Her Glaceon. "Hm? What is it?" she asked quizically. Glaceon stared back at her partner for a moment, not saying one thing. Then, with her paw, she pointed down at the land below them. A group of people were there, and were starting to gather around a harbour. Guess that would be the place Cam was looking for.

"Ah, there it is!" she exclaimed. With a smile, the girl patted Glaceon's head, a sure sign of appreciation before looking down at Noctowl. "Hey, Noctowl. Take us down there, ok? " The pokemon nodded and swooped down toward the earth.

Just before it landed, it flapped its wings and hovered about three feet above the ground in an upright position, allowing the trainer and ice pokemon to jump off. Once there were off the flying pokemon, Cam returned it to its pokeball, giving Noctowl some needed rest from the flight.

Sighing, the trainer and Glaceon looked toward the crowd of people. They all must have gotten the same invitation as well. Cam knew that all these trainers had skills since they were here. "Hope you give it your all in this challenge, Glaceon," Cam said to her pokemon in an uneasy tone. The pokemon looked up at the teen and nodded her head. "Glaceon . . ."

Devek let out a sigh. He placed his head against the cool metal. Lucky for him, he found someone heading for Slateport, so he decided to go with him. Whether the man liked it or not was none of Devek's concern. Next to Devek laid his Absol, who had fallen asleep somewhere along the journy. Slightly bored, he pulled out the letter.

Devek narrowed his eyes. Something about this "league" just didn't seem right. He sighed again and stuffed the letter into his pocket. They still seemed to have a ways to go before reaching Slateport, so Devek slipped his glasses over his eyes. Just as he was falling asleep, there was a loud pop and the once smooth ride became bumpy.

"Great," Devek growled. "A flat."Absol, now forcefully awakened, looked around, unsure of what was happening. Devek jumped from the back of the truck, with Absol close behind. From the corner of his eyes, he watched as the truck continued to drive. Either the man didn't realize he had gotten a flat or he was just too lazy to change it. Regardless, the truck was gone.

Devek pulled out a small pokeball, expanding it with his right hand. "It was a boring ride anyways," Devek said to himself. The pokeball opened and, with a red flash, revealed a large black charizard. "Come on, " Devek said, jumping on Charizard's back, with Absol close behind. "Let's get to Slateport." Charizard nodded and took to the sky.

"So, Slateport was close than I thought," Devek said, looking at the town not that far from them. He looked down to see the truck he had been riding in. It seemed the driver had finally realized he had a flat, as he was now working on the truck. With Charizard's great speed, they had reached Slateport in a matter of minutes.

As Charizard touched ground, Devek and the dark pokemon jumped from the fire pokemon's back. "Thanks," Devek said, returning the pokemon to it's pokeball. He looked around for a few seconds. "So, we're here."

Zeek woke up to a gloomy morning in Hearthome City. Which was common due to the fact that it was 4:30 in the morning. What can I say, Zeek's an early riser. He likes to get up early to train his Pokemon. It's his goal to be the very best in the world, but he already has the badges and elite four titles.(But so do many others.)

Zeek received this letter after he had taught his Umbreon "Dark Pulse." well, are you going? Said Umbreon, Of course, why wouldn't I? Zeek replied. I don't know, maybe because it's bacck in Hoenn... Well, that's why I have Salamance.

Zeek threw out a Poke-Ball "Salamance take me to Slateport!" A roaring dragon came out and Zeek jumped on it's back and within a few minutes he landed in Slateport City. "Look for a blue boat, a blue boat." Zeek kept on muttering to himself "Oh! There it is!" the boat was massive. It almost looked as big as the titanic, but it might have only looked big on the movie. As Zeek entered the boat he was immediately escorted to his room. Zeek feel asleep instantly.

Volkner woke up as the ray of the sun shined upon his face. He slowly lifed his eyes and also saw his pokemon sleeping in the forest. The forest wasn't far away from his house, only about a mile away. This was his training arena and also the first place where he met his first pokemon, flareon. Hmm... what time is it? Ugh... im so sore... which day is it again today? he thought as he got up. "Guys... wake up! It's morning!" said Volkner to his sleeping pokemon. They all got up slowly and streched. "Uhh.. today is... OH MY GOSH! TODAY IS THE DAY WE GO TO THE SUMMIT NINE!!!" yelled Volkner "Hurry! We gotta hurry back home and get our stuff and head to Slateport Harbor."

They ran home and almost dropped dead when they approached the door. Volkner's mother opened the door to them and was frightened at the sight of them really tired. "Volkner... where were you last night! Your pokemon are very tired... and look at you! Your very dirty! Go get washed up upstairs and i'll feed your pokemon" she said. "Mom... i was training all yesterday for the summit nine, i guess i kinda forgot to come home..." replied Volkner. He ran upstairs, took a shower and started packing.

As he came downstairs, he smelled the delicious aroma of pancakes, eggs, bacon, donuts, muffins, soup, bread, and strawberries. He immediately sat down, thanked his mom, and started eating like a mad man. He cleared all the plates in a few minutes. "Hey mom, do you know where the letter is? I thought i lefted on the table yesterday" asked Volkner. "You should be more responsible of your things! Check the table in the living room..." said his mom. He went to the living room and got the letter and he read it again...

"Hey mom, its 9:00, i gotta head to Slateport right now! Thanks for the food! Bye now" said Volkner happily. "You take care Volkner... i better see you as the champion when you return home!" said his mom sternly. He left the house with his pokemon and walked to slateport. He was full of energy and couldn't wait to go to Summit Nine.

After about 40 minutes of walking he finally arrived at Slateport Harbor. He found the blue boat and boarded it. A nice looking man escorted him and his pokemon to a grand room. "WOW!" said Volkner. "Haha, this boat is the most fine ship in the whole world sir, please have a pleasant journey" said the man. "Hey guys! There better be a swimming pool somewhere here... Lets go for a morning swim!" he said as they ran out the door.

Trea looked around the bustling Slateport. 'Seeing as it was a harbor, and a lot of sailors arrived and departed from it, they had to have a huge market.' He thought, making his way through the crowd of trainers, waiting to board the boat. Trea looked at the blue boat. It was massive, nothing like any boat he'd ever seen. "It seems like they would let us in now, seeing as how many people are already here." He said, making his way to the market. "Umm...yes, can I get some pok'efood and some rock candy please?" He asked the women at her stand. "Of course child." she said, handing him three bags of pok'efood and three of rock candy.

Trea put the pok'efood in his backpack, and pulled out the rock candy, biting onto one, and giving one to Sableye. "Sable!" The ghost pokemon said with glee. "Now....when will they let us in?"H e asked in anticipation.

"Pokemon trainers! We are glad to have you all here for Summit Nine! Now, after making the finishing touches on your rooms, and everything else, you may board!" The captain said with a microphone from atop the ship.

Trea looked up with excitement, and as he did, all the trainers ran in a blind rush for the ship. "I got this!" He yelled, jumping on top one of the stands, making his way to a higher one. He jumped off, throwing a pokeball. "Go! Flygon!" He yelled. The big Dragon pokemon appeared in a red glow, Trea and Sableye landing on it's back. "To the ship!" He yelled in a victorious tone. Flygon landed on the ship, before the other trainers had even made their way up the ramp. "Return." He said, Flygon returning. "Now to get my room!" He yelled, running for the rooms before the stampede of trainers trampled him. "Seven!" He yelled, skidding into a stop. He opened the door, slamming it just before the mad stampeded passed his door. He put his back against the door, and slid down it, sitting down. "We made it. Sableye." He said with a sigh. Sableye smiled, and began jumping on the bed.

It was a letter that Raiden recieved from someone he didnt know and all he knew was that he chosen to be part of a tournament."Hope im not late and if I am thats pretty sad considering I live in Littleroot Town.Right Charizard?"Said Raiden, letting out a small laugh and Charizard was Raiden's Pokemon. He had been training with Charizard for a long time and they are really close.Well all his Pokemon are close to him so it doesnt matter."Heres Slateport Harbor."Said Raiden about to land when all the people ran onto the boat."Charizard quick fly to the deck."Said Raiden and Charizard quickly responding and they got in front of practically everyone except for a couple of people with the same idea as him and some fast people,he let some people get in front of him so he would know what to do since on a regular boat no one would get on that fast and he heard something that the Captain said.

Raiden then quickly got off, pulled out a Pokeball and put Charizard away without looking, and ran to the rooms and went into Room 3 and quickly locked it before he was trampled by anyone."I made it,now to get unpacked."Said Raiden, he took off his bagpack and left it on the bed and took out Blaziken."Were going to Summit Nine and I wonder why they picked us to be part of this special tournament right?"Said Raiden and then Blaziken jumped up and did a kick meaning he didnt care about that and then one of the Pokeballs on Raiden's belt started moving and a Aipom jumped out."Aiipommm."Said the Aipom and jumped onto Raiden's shoulder."Lets wait for some people to get out of the way then we will go on the deck."Said Raiden lying on his bed.

"Feh" Azen tossed the letter in the lake beneath him. He wasn't sure who sent him the letter nor did he care. He wasn't about to interrupt his training for the world. Nothing othing short of the hand of Arceus himself would interrupt his training. "Did I say you could stop?" He coldly asked Illuminos; his Umbreon. For a second, it seemed that his red eyes began to glow for a second.

"Bre" It cried and jumped back into the shadows. Azen was pitting his Pokemon against each other for specific training. He was having Umbreon spar again Xatu to stop it's weakness to darkness.

"Quatum, you're not going to learn Miracle Eye by using your natural eyes. You're not allowed to use your natural eyes during this training session." The Xatu closed its eyes and tried to focus its psychic abilities to a point where it could see beyond its usual method. "Focus on the shadows. When darkness lurks, you must be ready to strike. Don't let it be your weakness. Stop it before it overtakes you." The boy paused to let his words reach the bird. "Xa" It quietly cooed.

"Umbreon, Mean Look." There was a dark flash, and in the shadows of the forest, were eyes. they were all over the place. Watching Xatu; waiting to pounce; ready to kill. It wasn't quite there. Xatu was learning, but not fast enough. The eyes reached it, and it couldn't move. Xatu was trapped.

"Then if you're not going to use it, maybe you can learn it once you faint. Umbreon!"

"Bre-bre" It hissed in compliance.

"Use Perish Song." Azen gave his order. His Pokemon were exceptionally trained. His intent was glazed in his voice. Xatu was going to learn; or faint trying.

"Beeeee-rruuuuu." Umbreon howled, moving from place to place, to avoid being detected. The song took a tangible form and surrounded Xatu. A red aura surrounded the bird. Azen was serious.

Once Xatu was incapacitated, Umbreon moved in for the strike. It leapt from the shadows awaiting it's masters command.

"Dark Pulse"

Xatu's mental image of the world inverted colors. Black became white, white became black. Shades of grey begame a neon green. It was chaos. The pokemon could feel its mind being broken.

"Do not lose yourself Xatu. You're not trying hard enough. Focus all of your psychic ability into surviving and the rest will come to you."

Rings. that's all Xatu could see were rings. Rings like an attack coming towards it. And there it was. Clear as day. Umbreon heading directly towards it, eyes narrowed, ready to take it out.

Xatu's eyes shot wide open. It teleported behind the ever nearing dark type. "Xatuuu" It cawed. Reversing the inverted world's colors back to normal. A wave of sound caught the fox creature off guard. When it durned its red eyes back to meet its attacker, it found that it wasn't so immune to Psychic type moves anymore.

"That's in Xatu, now use Psychic."

"XA!" It opened its wings wide as if it were going to fly. The Dark Pulse quickly dispelled. Xatu's eyes turned red, then suddenly...Umbreon fell to its knees. It had never had to face a Psychic type's full on power. It hurt.

Umbreon tried to use its paws to stop its mind from being destroyed, but to no avail. With a cacophonic cry, Umbreon fell over. Xatu had done it. It had overcome its weakness to Dark-types.

Xatu flapped its wings a few times before it too fell over. Perish Song had run its course on the bird. Azen recalled both his pokemon and left the Berry Forest.

Well, the teen had to say that the crowd was quite an eager one. After the announcer gave the ok to board the ship, trainers all hurried to the boat in a rush. A couple of trainers even tried to avoid the crowd by using their flying pokemon.

Cam, unfortunately, happened to get caught in the stampede and was constantly shoved by the trainers. In addition, Glaceon had to be taken into Cam's arms to avoid being stepped on by the crowd. After the people finally seemed to dissipate, Cam let out a pout as she boarded the ship. "The announcer could have at least mentioned to enter the boat calmly." Glaceon managed to wriggle free from her trainer's grasp, and followed closely behind the girl.

With her pokemon following loyally beside her, the trainer was walking the down hallway, trying to find a room that wasn't already taken. Every so often, she would stop in front of a room and knock on the door, hoping that someone didn’t occupy it already. But in the end, she would end up getting a, "Taken!" or, "Yes?!" or some type of reply from someone.

After lingering down the hallway for what seemed like for an eternity, the girl finally stopped at another door. Cam lifted up her hand to knock, but stopped and looked down for a moment. "Let's hope that this one is taken, right, Glaceon?" The pokemon nodded her head. Cam smiled and then knocked. No answer. She knocked one more time. Still, no answer. The pokemon trainer immediately opened the door. There was not a single soul in the room. Cam stretched and walked further in the area with a grin that was wide on her face. "Finally! A room!" The ice pokemon was also happy that their search for a dorm was finally over. She made herself comfortable on what would be Glaceon and Cam's new bed.

After relaxing for a while in her temporary home, the girl was just about ready to head out of it. She was itching to explore the ship, wanting to get the feel of it. "Ok, let's get outta here, Glaceon. We’re gonna do a little exploring." The pokemon was curled up on the bed, but when she heard her trainer call her name, she cocked her head to the side. Jumping off the mattress, she met Cam at the door. "Ready?" she asked her pokemon. "Gla . . .ceon." The trainer nodded and opened the door. Stepping out, she exhaled and headed down the long hall.

Trea smiled softly as Sableye jumped on the bed. "For a pokemon with Dark and Ghost attributes......you sure are playful." He said, standing up from the door. The massive crowd of trainers had pretty much settled in their own respective rooms. "They all settled down. I guess it's ok for us to leave." Trea said, opening the door. As he did this, Sableye jumped from the bed to Trea's head, resting on top. "So I guess we should meet some trainers or something." He said, walking along the deck of the ship. It was truly a marvelous ship, exceeding the size of every ship docked at Slateport. Trea looked to his left, noticing a female trainer with a Glaceon. "I guess we should introduce ourselves eh Sableye?" He asked before a loud voice was heard.

"Trainers! Welcome to the boat that will lead you to the toughest challenge in your lives!" The captain said over the ship's intercom. "If any of you are interested, and with a boat full of eager trainers, I know some will, have the urge to battle, them come to the contest hall of the ship, where we will hold a small pre-Summit Nine contest. All contestants will need to sign up at the desk at the door leading to the contest room. But hurry up, only a small amount will be able to battle, so get there fast! Thank you trainers!"

Trea looked at the speaker of which the captain's voice was emitting from. "Contest!?" He yelled excitedly. And as he did this, he looked in front of him, a trainer staring right at him. He looked behind him, a group of trainers were staring at him. "Small amount?" He whispered. "Hold on Sableye!" He yelled, beginning to run as fast as he could, dodging various chairs and stools in his way. "With this many trainers," he yelled, sliding to the side to avoid a group of trainers who were running down another hall of the ship from running into him, "they would be more organized than this!"

Trea watched as the contest door came into sight. "Almost.....there!" He yelled, another trainer neck and neck with him. Sable looked at the trainer and used Hypnosis. The trainer looked up and immediately fell to the ground asleep. Sableye laughed slightly. "Kukukukuku." Trea ran through the door to the contest hall, and signed up as fast as he could.

Devek watched as the trainers rushed the boat. He shook his head and walked toward the ship, simply saying, "Children..." Most trainers had already gotten on, a few trainers were left outside. With his hands in his pockets and Absol close at his side, Devek entered the ship. "My room is..." he said, looking at the numbers on the door. "One." Devek opened the door and looked at the one thing he did not want to see. A trainer.

"Yes?" the trainer asked as Devek entered the room. Devek grabbed the trainer by the shirt and dragged him to the door, where he tossed him out. Devek walked back into the room and grabbed the trainer's bag. Calmly walking back to the door, Devek threw the bag at the trainer. "My room," Devek coldly said, shutting the door.

Devek tossed the bag onto the bed and took off his trenchcoat. He hung it up on a rack along with his shirt and pants. Under his clothes, he had some swimming truncks on. He placed a towel over his shoulder and walked out of the room, Absol right by his side. He smirked at the trainer he had thrown out of the room as he passed by.

Devek sighed as a large group of trainers came rushing his way. Absol let out a loud growl, stopping the trainers in their tracks. "That's better," Devek said, walking toward the group. With Absol at his side, the large group made a path for him as he walked toward the deck of the ship. As soon as he passed, the group continued onward.

Devek soon reached the deck of the ship, where a soothing swimming pool caught his eyes. With a sigh of relief, Devek walked toward the pool. As he reached the pool, Devek slipped his shoes off and set the towel on a chair. He jumped into the pool, the cool water tingling his whole body at once. After another sigh, Devek leaned up against the wall of the pool.

Mike Flynn. One of the cockiest trainers known to man. For almost 5 years now, he has been working on his team. And finally, it is to his liking. With his prized Jolteon, he is ready for every type of battle. A move super effective against every type known on his team, so he is ready to dish it out with the best. And just in time, since he's got a letter in the mail regarding a tournament.

It read:

Dear Trainer,

We have acknowledged you greatness in the profession of Pokemon. What you have accomplished is nothing to be overlooked, that's why we've created a "special" league on Summit Nine, a great, bustling metropolis. This league is for trainers who have gone far in the world, and have obtained the most powerful of Pokemon. This league will test you, and show the true Pokemon Master. If you accept this invitation, then please board the Blue boat in the Slateport harbor. That will take you to Summit Nine.

"Finally!" Mike shouted as he brought out his Jolteon. "You ready, Jolteon? It's our time to prove we're what I say we are!"

Jolteon danced about in excitement, and then Mike figured it would be best to fly to Slateport. He brought out his Dragonite, figuring his Dragonite would be happy to fly him to Slateport. He headed west from his beach house on Sunnyshore, leaving a note on his front door letting his mother know of his adventures, figuring she'd call later to check up on him.

When the two got to the deck of the ship, a warm breeze from outside greeted them both. Cam put her hands behind her head, taking in the ship's features. "Wow, this great! This ship is so beautiful too!" "Glaceon!"

Cam's excited face now dropped. "Ah, crap . . ." There was yet another horde of trainers. And yet again, Cam and Glaceon both had to dodge them to avoid getting trampled. After the crowd had went by, Cam and Glaceon were left with annoying looks. "These people just don't know when to say 'excuse me', do they?" Glaceon, displeased too, dropped her head and shook it.

The trainer sighed. "Well, guess it wouldn't hurt to watch. Come on, Glaceon. Let's see what this contest is really abou-" Just when Cam glanced down, she saw a bad sight. Glaceon was gone. "Eh?! Glaceon, where'd ya go?" The girl frantically glanced from left to right, only to find her Glaceon nowhere in sight.

Geez, where'd that pokemon run off to? She was right next to me a second ago! Finally, her eyes met with the pool. A male was in there, but so was Glaceon! Of course, she would be in water. Glaceon always loved taking a dip into a pool or lake now and then.

The pokemon seemed very oblivious to the male as she floated on her back in the water. Her facial features made it seem like she was in heaven. She was definitely enjoying herself. The pokemon let out a sigh and continued to float carelessly in the pool.

Suddenly, not seeing where she was going, the pokemon bumped right into the trainer, causing Glaceon to turn over and look up. It was then when she realized that she was not alone. "Glaceon?" The pokemon cocked her head quizzically while staring at the male.

However, swift hands picked the pokemon up just in time. "Sorry," Cam exclaimed while slightly smiling at the young man. The trainer settled the damp pokemon into her hands, also damping her shirt up in the process. "She, uh . . . likes water."

Finally. Mike caught up just before the boat departed. "Good work, Dragonite. Take a well earned rest." he said. He took a walk around the ship, when he heard;

'Haha, sweet.' He thought to himself. He figured he'd check out the talent, and maybe battle a bit. He went straight for the desk.

Azel walked into the Sevii Island Seven Pokemon Center. He approached the nurse and gave her his pokeballs.

"Um excuse me sir, are you Azel Fujiwara?" A voice came from behind the teenager. Azel turned around to find a girl standing there. She was much shorter than he, considering that he was relatively short.

"Who wants to know?" He turned back to Nurse Joy who continued to give her plastic smile.

"There is a letter here for him. It arrived here yesterday." Azel scoffed and took the letter from the girl, and what do you know:

Dear Trainer,
We have acknowledged you greatness in the profession of Pokemon. What you have accomplished is nothing to be overlooked, that's why we've created a "special" league on Summit Nine, a great, bustling metropolis. This league is for trainers who have gone far in the world, and have obtained the most powerful of Pokemon. This league will test you, and show the true Pokemon Master. If you accept this invitation, then please board the Blue boat in the Slateport harbor. That will take you to Summit Nine.

"Ding ding din-din DING!" The "all healed" sound broke the silence.

"Somone wants me in Slateport. Not only is that suspicious, but they knew I'd be here. It'd be smart to stay away. I guess I'm going to, and I can't believe the words are coming out of my mouth, have to go to the burg. At least find out who's stalking me."

Azel took a pokeball with a purple eye on it. "Quatum, use Teleport. I need to go to Slateport City." The Pokemon closed its eyes as did its trainer. Instantly, they were there; Slateport City.

The two appeared from thin air right above the water. "Oh" SPLASH!

Azel pulled his soaking wet body up from the water. "Oh eff me. Xatu return." A red beam exited the orb and with that the bird disappeared. He showed the note to the attendant and was kindly escorted to his room. "O think I need a nap. We all do. Come on out guys."

All six of Azen's pokemon appeared.
"Blast"
"Breon"
"Xatu"
"Tom"
"Aruru"
"Torroro"

"I know guys, A.J.'s belts can be restrictong sometomes, but I assure you, your strength will be amazing. When you all reach a certain level of skill, we'll only double the strength of your bests. You're going to be the very best. Like no one ever was. And you're going to climb your way up from the top so that all may know your story."

But none of them were listening. They had all fallen asleep. Azen smiled. "Sleep tight guys."

Devek stared lazily up at the sky. The clouds slowly floated along the sky while a small flock of Wingull flew overhead. The sun's bright light forced Devek to slip his glasses over his eyes. Still staring at the sky, only a little less brighter, Devek's eyes began to fall heavy. Devek would had been asleep, had it not been for a bump that woke the trainer.

He looked down to find the source of the bump. It was a Glaceon, whose current appearance almost made Devek laugh. But as soon as she had appeared, she was swept away from his sight by a pair of hands. Slightly surprised, Devek looked up to see a young female trainer holding the Glaceon.

"Sorry. She, uh . . . likes water."

"Not a problem," Devek said, dropping down so that the water went up to his neck. "So, the Glaceon's yours." Devek went under for a moment, swimming a few feet away and emerged from beneath the water. "So, did you come out here to escape the insanity of the other trainers as well?" Devek went under again and emerged slightly closer to the girl. He shook his head, flinging the water from his black hair.

Absol, who had been sleeping, got hit by Devek's water and woke up. He looked around, a annoied look on his face. But, instead of finding Devek, he found a girl that he did not recognize. Absol approached the girl, softly growling. "Sol!" the pokemon shouted in anger. Absol's growl was much louder than it had previously been. Absol continued to approach the girl.

"It's alright," Devek said, catching Absol's attention. Absol looked back at the girl once more then turned away, slowly walking back to where he had been sleeping. "Sorry about that," Devek said, floating calmly in the water. "He's a bit protective. He was my first Pokemon, so our bond is strong and his protectiveness is a little too much at times." Devek pushed back, moving toward the center of the pool. "The name's Devek. Yours?"

Thankfully, the man didn't seem to mind Glaceon's disruption. He actually began to engage in a conversation with her. He asked Cam if the pokemon that had just bumped him was hers and she nodded. "Yeah, Glaceon sometimes tends to wonder off if something interesting catches her eye, though." Her pokemon gave a pout and found her way out of Cam's grasp. Landing on the ground, she shook herself off, trying to get rid of the excess water that was still in her coat.

"So, did you come out here to escape the insanity of the other trainers as well?" the male asked. "Actually, Glaceon and I were about to head over to the area. Just to check out what we'd be up against in the league, though," Cam replied. "I’m not too crazy about battling, unfortunately."

All of a sudden, a low but deep growl abruptly caught Cam's attention, and she turned to see who was emitting it. It was an Absol, and its growl was starting to get louder as it came closer to the trainer. But Glaceon, on full alert, pounced a few feet in front of Cam and started to snarl back at the Absol. The Absol was towering over Glaceon's small body, but the fox didn't care. She stood her ground, and she was not willing to back down.

However, the young man in the pool gave an order to the pokemon, saying that everything was all right. Obeying, the Absol went back to its area, ceasing to bother Cam or Glaceon. That must be his Absol . . . Cam thought while staring the male’s pokemon. Glaceon too became calmer after Absol left. She sat down where she was and started to lick her paw like nothing happened.

The female trainer heard the man apologize about his Absol as he floated in the water. Cam shook her head. "Nah, I understand. Glaceon's like that too. At times, she can be a bit defensive when people she doesn’t trust get too close." It wasn’t long before she knew the man's name. Devek. Cam looked up and nodded her head, memorizing the name. Then, he asked for hers. She looked back down at him. With a smile, she answered, "It's Cam."

Before she could continue, the ice-type pokemon began to tug lightly on her cargo pants with her mouth. "What’s it now?" the teen asked jokingly while looking down at the fox. The pokemon did nothing but run off toward the exit off the deck. Stopping, she turned her head and signaled Cam to follow. It took only an instant before the trainer knew what her pokemon was trying to tell her. "Oh, that's right! We were going to go watch the pokemon contest."

Looking over to Devek, the female was about to ask if he was coming too, but he it appeared to be enjoying himself now. So instead, the teen just gave a faint wave, "See ya later, ‘kay?" She hurried over to Glaceon, and went she caught up, they both went back into the ship’s hallway.

"You guys feel like going?"Said Raiden.

Both of them nodded and Aipom jumped to Raiden's shoulder and Blaziken followed the two. They headed out the room but before opening Raiden noticed a key on the back of the door and got it,it said 'Room 3' so it must have been for that room so Raiden got it and looked the door before leaving. He then ran to the room where the contest was being held, wherever that was.He then noticed a crowd of people heading toward a room so he went that way but most of them were signing up so he had to hurry.Blaziken then used Growl and Aipom jumped in the air and used Swift in front of the crowd to slow them down.

Some of them stopped and didnt move for a while, others backed away, and some didnt care and just kept walking. Also some of them were lying on the ground but Raiden didnt want to ask questions and the three headed toward the signing in booth or whatever it was called. There was a line and Raiden hoped he wasnt to late because if he was,he was just gonna walk out of there and try to find a match on the deck. But he wasnt leaving out of anger,he was gonna leave because he wanted to battle someone. He finally got to the front of the line and saw there were a couple of spaces left to join the Contest.

"We would like to sign up for this Contest."

Cambodia, harvesting all the orphans I can.
Trea finished signing up, and the women at the counter handed him a number. "Number 1?" He asked with a smile. The women pointed to a bench where the contestants would be seated. He walked over to it, Sableye on his head, and sat down, waiting eagerly for the contest to begin. Trea looked at the line of trainers, one caught his eye. He had an Aipom, and for some reason a Blaziken out of it's pokeball. "That's smart, keeping such a large pokemon just walking around." He said, and looked at the arena. It looked like one of those universal stages that changed into any arena from grass, to water.

"So, ready for the battles Sableye?" He asked looking up, but to his surprise, he wasn't there. "What!? Sableye!" He said in panic. He looked over at the trainer with the Aipom. Sableye was up to his mischief again. The purple pokemon was tying the trainers shoes together. Trea couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

Volkner was walking down the hallway towards the swimming pool. "Aiight, Come on out all of you!" he said as he took out his pokeballs and throwing them into the air. The balls expanded in the air and they opened up one by one. Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Glaceon, Leafeon, and Espeon all jumped in the air happily as they were let out.

"Guys lets relax first... we can battle later when we are finished playing around!" said Volkner "Hey guys, lets run to the swimming pool! Last one is the rotten egg!". He was in the lead but as he was coming towards the exit, his Jolteon, the fastest of the group sped right past him and jumped into the pool. Shortly after, all of them pasted him and jumped into the pool.

Volkner was happy seeing them getting along with each other. Well they do get along with each other most of the time. While he was running he took off his shirt and jumped in the air laughing. "Aww.. i guess im the rotten egg! Dang.. you guys are fast! Haha... well lets have a great time right now" said Volkner.

He saw another trainer with his Absol. He decided to go up to the trainer and talk wit him. "Hey wow... you have a nice looking Absol there! He seems very strong... ehhh i dont see a lot of Absols where i come from. Its an honor seeing this!" Volkner said cheerfully "Oh mind my manners... my name's Volkner!" he took out his hand wanting a handshake with a big smile.
