So we get to ride the Box Legendaries early on? That's neat. Totally adding Paldean Wooper on my team
Well, so much for "past and future forms" being the gimmick this time around. I guess it'll only be used for Koraidon and Miraidon and professors Sada and Turo. Hope the fins on Wooper aren't just a throwaway gag for the skull and crossbones on poison bottles.
Which version are you getting? I'm probably getting Scarlet.
Probably Scarlet cause Koraidon is my favorite of the two

Without giving anything else away (Even though I did watch the trailer yesterday) can we really trust those leaks? people pointed to the jewel that was in the logo, and that clearly isn't the way to access the past/future forms.According to the leaks, the “past and future forms” are another type of regional variants. As for now, everything has been shockingly correct. For example Fidough and Wooper were leaked weeks ago. The functionality of the new gimmick was also leaked a few days ago.
I don’t know if this is a spoiler for you so I censor the following:
It seems like GF introduces new kinds of regional variants. The so called “Paradox Forms” are what the leakers described as future/past forms. But they seem to be standalone Pokémon with their own Pokédex entries.
@NoWay I appreciate you censoring that little bit of information, I know I'm running a fools errand trying to avoid spoilers for the games but it's hard to avoid it sometimes. I want to be a little surprised when I evolve say, the starters and see what their final forms end up being like I did in legends arceus Such as Thyplosion's final form in Hisui, I know not everyone's a fan of it, but it gains immunity to normal types and still retains flash fire as it's HA along with a pretty solid move in infernal parade. Though then again, this is from someone who fully believed for the longest time that the Alolan starters were going to have major impacts on the plot because of their alleged connection to alchemy until the game came out and I felt like a fool.
(Also, are you a competitive player? I'm always looking for people to challenge. here's to hoping we get more than 20 minutes per single battle like the old days!)

I cannot believe they would make Wooper Poison/Ground! And those legendaries look like the Yugioh 5DS motorbikes!
Paldean Wooper being Poison/ground makes perfect sense, most salamanders have toxic skin as a deterrent for predators and keep them from being eaten. Plus, it keeps water absorb which adds another immunity on top of its innate immunity to electric moves. And the legendaries don't look that bad, dare I say they're what I expect from future generation box legendaries. Bit on the fence about how early we get them, hope they're like the ride Pokémon from Legends Arceus where you can't use them in battle and they're primarily used for transport.

My theory for the in-universe explanation is that Maraidon (the future one) is an artificially created Pokémon that was designed based on the appearance of Karaidon (the past one.) Karaidon’s “wheels” are actually part of its body like a fan-throated lizard, but Maraidon was given actual wheels since it is basically a robot/cyborg Pokémon.
It could also be that it's more of a vestigial trait that whatever Karaidon grew into over time originally used like a wheel, but began to use it's limbs as a more effective form of locomotion in Paldea, which as we've seen has a lot of sheer cliffs and mountaintops (something it's wheel would struggle to use). Maraidon then could be an attempt to recreate whatever Karaidon was in the distant past and make that once vestigial trait functional again.
It's not like we haven't seen this with other mons in the past, mankey has a tail and is able to use moves like iron tail to defend itself, but loses that tail upon evolution into primeape. Alolan exeggutor is said to be the original form of it because of the Alola region being a better climate than Kanto, and it too has grown a tail, but it's Kantonian form lacks said tail.

Ash has become World Champion/Monarch after defeating Leon, the standing Monarch.
He now holds the following achievements: Orange League Victor, Battle Frontier Victor, Alola League Champion and finally World Champion/ Monarch. The very best, like no one ever was(except Leon).

The game bogs down to 10fps for this very reason.
So... It's actually happening. The Pokemon anime will move on from Ash to new main characters for the next arc.
