Well, I've decided to bring it back.

Here's a couple of mine.

As we grow closer and closer to the end,
I hold you as close as I can,
In fear of losing you,
I suffer all the pain for your happiness.

(I don't think this made sense)

Don't enter the void,
for I shall grieve,
the sorrowful death,
of tommorow's beauty.

(I had no idea where this came from.)

I'd go so far,
as to bury my past,
in order for us to live,
in your future.

These were all written during a sugar filled math class.

right behind you
here's 1 of mine, please do not steal it, seeing as it has won a poetry contest and been published it is actually illegal, help with the money it brings in, Poetry: A look into Youth, chekc it out comes out May

Fake Smile
Do you want to be someone else?
As long as you aren't yourself -
Change the way they see you.
So you aren't miserable too -
Like how you are now is just a waste -
And all you need is a different face -
Never being able to say you're glad.
Eyes always dry because you're always sad.
And you die after a while -
Stop hiding behind your fake smile...

look for me to post up my other contest winner, also published in the book, check it ouy, buy it, the poem I will post soon is called The Bleeding Of Insignificance

and to comment on your poem, it sounds good, it has a very good point to it, but theres no rhyme scheme, there doesnt hav eot be every line, but some rhyme scheme to pull it together, like 1 line of every stanza, or the last line of every stanza, something

Oooh I love writing poetry! Here's two of mine:

"Truth"

You don't see me
I'm not in the popular crowd
Or the school play
I don't wear Abercrombie
Or do ballet

You don't hear me
My words fall on deaf ears
You're too busy being fake
A cheap cardboard cut-out
It's time for you to awake

You don't know me
Not like you'd care
You bask in the adoration
Of everyone around you
Must be a wonderful sensation

You don't understand
I know what lurks inside
The soul trying to break out
Trying to get rid of the mask
But for every triumph a doubt

You're afraid of the truth
That you're not who everyone expects
Forgotten, and lost
What if they reject you?
Well, I think it's worth the cost

You say it's too complicated
"It's so hard to be me"
But it's such a simple thing, you see
There will always be someone here,
There will always be me.

"Illusion"

I find myself within a dream
Gazing without sight across this room
Your eyes, an ocean of stormy waves
Never beckon my ship to sail

Long nights of Autumn's bliss
I spend regarding your porcelain face
Hearing the tenor of your sweet clarity
Longing to speak my heart's soliloquy

Flying in this broken sky
Shattered glass of forgotten promises
Your golden smile is a sun through the clouds
Shining through the rain of my solemnity

Like deceitful masks of a courtier's ball
Wolves and vultures flock to the call
Wounded in this pursuit
I seek for your comforting gaze

Rubber burns from the ashes of lies,
Twisted, mocking, scorn, and flaws
Waking to the truth of my reality
My every day sung in soft harmony.

Not too great, but I think they turned out okay. ^__^

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is another day.
A new day that we move on,
a day that we can look forward to,
despite our harsh out look.

Tomorrow is the day,
when we sit down and say,
to keep somethings at bay,
"I'll do it tomorrow,"
"since I don't have to do it today."

Tomorrow is never done,
and when anxious,
it never seems to come.

Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow,
it is the day of the future,
it is the day that will become our present,
a day that you cannot predict.

(What do you guys think about it?)
