Panel System question.

Is there a limit to the panels that can be placed in the grid? Or does the grid increase as you level up? Also, are equipment such as armor and accessories included in this game?

Yes the number of panels is restricted, but kinda like COM you can have 3 different grids so I guess you can equip which one best suits the situtation. I don't remember how many there are allowed though like 120 or something? Or is that too much? XD And again yes there are both equipment and accessories but in the form of panels as well

I think you earn empy slots for your grid as you go from missions and I think you can purchase some too, so no it is not that big at first. And yes, you can purchase them from Moogle shops or from completing missions, too. Again though I'm not sure if 120 is the number I can't remember ^^;

Ok yeah I was like way off......I don;t know where I got 120 from honestly its more like 40 maximum XD Oops, srry about that.......

Well apparently there are link panels that up the number of levels you can grow per panel and I have seen people with like 7 LV up panels and at LV 100 ^^; And other link panels help with that kind of stuff too (like with magic and such), so thats most likely why those even exist ^^;

Oh and I just looked and it looks like you start with 15 slots open

I don't know how to explain link panels.....they like have a space of there own (for like the one panel) and then a grid like thing covering a certain amount of panels and any panel placed within that area is affected by the link panels effect......sort of I guess thats the best way I can think of to explain it ^^;. And from Youtube and the official site ^^;

Well if you mean like field abilities like Dodge Roll and High Jump then well there are those two........Dodge Rush (version of dodge roll that damages), Glide, Different elemental forms of Guard, Aerial Recovery, Aerial Dash (its like Quick Run in midair)....and some others xD I think.....

No that is just for magic and items, there are special panels you use to upgrade Guard and the like to elemental forms and I'm pretty sure they stay......

It's not 40. I myself have 86. The maximum is 120.

Oh so I was right the first time? I guess i didnt just pull the number out of my ass after all....I counted the open spaces and it was only 40....wait do all 3 of your grids apply at one time!? I thought it was you had to pick which one to use at the time like your deck in COM oops......srry Destinykh, i was wrong about that I guess.....

Yeah, all three of the grids work simultaneously. I've been setting all my weapons/levels/magic in my first grid, and I've got about six or seven blocks open in my second, and i use that for extra abilities and items, so this way, I don't have to switch around my entire first grid every time i want to equip some abilities.

They all work simultaneously, of course. After a while you get the the point where your gears are taking up 4-6 spaces on your grid. You need as much space as you can get.

I would be for me. I would need to substitute my good abilities and stuff for levels. I can only imagine how many squares are left when all my levels are in there.
