yeah, ive been wondering the same thing, the first time i heard vexen say that, roxas was the first thing that came into my head, i dont know how but a small part of roxas was still probably inside sora in the "other side of his heart"

that's probably why roxas had to merge together with sora to become whole so he dosen't disappear and fade back into the darkness like namine had said.

that's probably why roxas had to merge together with sora to become whole so he dosen't disappear and fade back into the darkness like namine had said.

He had to merge together with Sora since he's his Nobody. That aside, he seems to be holding most if not all of his Memories, going by the stuff hinted towards along the road and especially in the Days trailers. This had a lot less to do with fading into Darkness than one might think, especially seeing the Organization's goal. Had Roxas became a Somebody with a new Heart, he wouldn't have needed Sora.
