Organization XIII are most likely still existant for two reasons
1) The defeated organization members from CoM appear in final mix
2) Organization members are actually classed as being nothing, so how can they die. once it has been created it exists and can't be returned to it.

1. They're just DATA battles, not the real Organization members. The only one confirmed to be alive is Axel, and even THAT'S still shaky as it only is said in the manga, and we're not currently sure if the manga canon lines up with the game canon.
2.
KH2 said:
Xemnas: Surely we nothings must be the same; eternal.
Riku: You're right there Xemnas. Darkness and Light go on forever. Nothing probably goes on forever too.
Sora: But guess guess what? That doesn't mean YOU'RE eternal
Xemnas: No more eternal than that radience of yours.

Proof of Existence. A place that is there to show literal proof of existence.

Nobodies are bodies and souls. They fade [as their old selves] from this plane of existence, The world of light, and reappear in the chasm between light and dark. Twilight Town. From there they are moved to TWTNW. They still exist, just in the twilight.

When a nobody fades, it's heart searches for it. If it reaches the nobody in time, they become whole again. Otherwise the heart is in suspended animation, and the body dies.

Somebody take this kid to a burn ward, and welcome to the forums

Actually, is not the manga that said that Axel returned to his original self, is the KHII novels. Two different things.

While the manga is a comic and follows its own canon, the novel follows the game and tells what wasn't put in (scenes, what the rest were doing, etc.) that Nomura wanted, but couldn't add in KH2 because of disk space.

The members are not "dead" per se. They were never meant to exist, they're Nobodies, they're simply shadows that happened to have a form or shell. The 13th Order were special in the fact that they had strong enough hearts to obtain a human form, and powers. But once that form is gone, they return to what they really are: Nothing. Lost in the dark. That's why they fade.

However, as Nomura stated in an interview, if their Heartless is destroyed, and they follow the same path before or after, they can return to their original selves.

The thing is, other than Axel or Roxas, probably Xemnas (since his Heartless was killed in KH1), we don't know what other members managed or were lucky enough to have the same fate. That's the question, which did, who didn't, did they at all?

you KNOW what I meant though, did you not?

And I mentioned Xehanort earlier, but I forgot that time. Well, after we beat KH2, didn't we all say "Hmmm, I have a felling that isn't the end of Xehanort."? Did we not?

Couldn't have put it better myself, PostMentalFerocity and *Twilight Night* They said as much in the game, nobodies are nothingness, destined to fade away. Since they never existed, they cannot die, and can not even cease to exist, but they are erased from the universe.

If you want a full rundown... Xemnas=killed (for a lack of a better word) by Sora, same with Xigbar and Xaldin. Vexen was killed by Axel. Riku killed Lexeaus and Zexion, Sora killed Saix, Axel killed himself, and Sora killed the rest (Demyx, Luxord, Larxene, and Marluxia), except Roxas, obviously.

When Axel "killed" Vexen, he said "now you can be nothing, instead of being nobody" or something like that.

Well, not "dead" as we think of it. When someone dies, the body and heart are finished, but the soul remains, whole and untarnished. However, that soul cannot do anything but go on, for it needs a vessel. You can't really discuss what the soul does from there without getting religious...

So, when a nobody "dies", their body is finished, and, unless the soul can reunite with the heart and find a new vessel, the the soul goes on.

It doesn't matter to me. I just see them as a bunch of terrorists that got what they deserved. That's just my opinion.

Well with that it's a yes and no thing.

Yeah, they did threaten the saftey of the worlds for their own personal ain, but that's more selfish than evil.

I believe if they had just asked Sora for help insted of manipulating him, he would have helped them.

^That's what I think as well. If they simply asked, I think Sora would've helped.

i don't think its possible to die if you don't even really exist. at most, they just faded back into the darkness from whence they came. at least their nobodies did. human form, they're back, most likely.
