TheLifestream.net has produced an excellent translated fandub of On the Way to A Smile: Final Fantasy VII - Case of Tifa a novella written by Kazushige Nojima that takes place between Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children and explains a lot of the motivations behind what we saw in the movie. Along with Episode Denzel, I think it's a mandatory listen for anyone who liked Final Fantasy VII.
