So recently for school I been having to watch old films and then comment on them. I was just wanting to see if anyone on here seen any i had to watch or any I am going to need to watch. I mean some of these films are actually really good, but with today's special effects, and amount of action films, these may not be for most.

These are the movies I seen so far:

Casablanca - great movie in its own respect.
Godfather - of course everyone seen this.
Sunset Boulevard - great movie sparked the famous line of "I am ready for my close up"
_______
Movies I still need to see for semester:

Some Like it Hot
High Noon
Singin In the Rain
The Graduate
All Quiet on the Western Front
Double Indemnity
M*A*S*H
Raging Bull - I believe i seen this and quite a good film. Looking forward to watching it again.
Pulp Fiction - seen this and amazing.
On The Waterfront
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

I've seen all of those. -loves old movies- :D;;

My favorites among that list is The Godfather, Casablanca, Sunset Boulevard, Pulp Fiction, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Singin' in the Rain and Raging Bull. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was hilarious and at the same time pretty sad. DD: The Godfather was just amazing and I enjoyed the second and third part to it as well.

Hmm... Pulp Fiction is only 15 years old.

So what's the criteria for 'old time movies'? I would've thought anything from and before the 50's or 60's.

it was on his list, all there is too it. but film before the 50's and 60's was pretty limited id imagine. with the exception of say charlie Chaplin and tapping dancing 6 year olds.

I've seen it, yeah. Back when I was all crazy about surrealism and Twin Peaks and shit a few months back. Good stuff.

It gets plenty weirder in season 2, and, for the most part, a lot better. Go buy the big box set thing, totally worth it
