『Fantome』のリリースからまだ間もなかった頃にオファーをいかけただいて書きました。『Fantome 』が完成した直後は、「いろいろ出し切った。もう抜け殻だ。何もない！」と思っていたんですが「誓い」を作り始めたら、「あれ、何かまだまだというか、むしろたくさん湧いてくるぞ？」って（笑）。そこから畳みかけるような勢いで、「大空で抱きしめて」、「Forevermore」、「あなた」がどどどっと作れた。ものすごく意欲的なモードで、ちょっと自分でもびっくりしましたね。

---- この曲を始めとする大半のドラムをクリス・デイヴ（※アデルやエド・シーラン、ディアンジェロの作品に参加）が叩いています。
「誓い」の一部が 『KINGDOM HEARTSⅢ』のトレーラーで公開された時、「リズムの取り方がわからない」、「どういう拍子なのか理解が出来ない」 という反応が多かったんです。私自身は、すごく単純で心地の良い 6/8 拍子のつもりだったんで、それは予想外な反応でした。それであらためて、すごくスウィングを付けていることや、そこに細かく刻んだハイハットがさらにノリを複雑化させていることや、ドラムとピアノが溜めたり突っ込んだりしていることが、自分にとってはごく普通でしたが、実は独特なノリで、誰にでも感じられるものではないんだと気付かされて。ドラムがクリスじゃなかったら, この曲は成立しなかったかもなあって思いました。
