X = proof of being a Member of the Organization, not of being a Nobody. I doubt the Dusks had Xs incorperated into their names.

You're REALLY off track. What you're talking about is the Heart Unlocker.

We're talking about this -

The Oblivion is the Keyblade you get in Hollow Bastion in the chest right across from the Keyhole to Darkness, on the platform in the room where the PoHs were held.

No. I think the whole point of getting Kairi's Heart out of Sora's Body indicates that Xehanort needed the PoHs' Hearts right where they belong - in their original Bodies. That Keyblade, the "Heart Unlocker" as we like to call it, was made from the remaining 6 PoHs' Hearts with the ability of releasing a Heart from a Person's Body.
Namely - get Kairi's Heart out of Sora's Body.
Once that was done, the Keyblade disappeared - having served its purpose, and the Keyhole to Darkness achieved balance.
