but i'm about to come out of a two year relationship, and i've never actually faced heartbreak or had to get over someone.

so, um, tips on getting over someone?

What do you mean 'About to', what you guys decided "Alright, we're gonna break up next tuesday at 3 PM."

Alright, at the risk of sounding like Dr Phil, you gotta deal with your feelings. I mean, you could go get drunk, have sex, ect, ect, but in reality, all those are gonna do is take your mind off the problem temporarily. You gotta figure out your own way of working through those feelings.

There's no "cure" for heartbreak, except to move on.

Oh, and I know it's hard, but it's important to try and keep a positive attitude. Feeling sorry for yourself and your predicament dosn't do anything to help you. It's only going to drive people away from you.
