New scene: Aqua, Mickey, Kairi, & Kairi's Grandmother!!!

A new scene was recorded at Comic Con!! It features Aqua, Mickey, Kairi, and her grandmother in Radiant Garden. You can't hear their voices, but you can read what they are saying. They also animated Kairi's face, so when she talks she doesn't have the infamous "Kingdom Hearts flat-face mouth flap" that she did in the original Japanese version. (BTW, am I the only one who thinks she looks kinda creepy now?)

I didn't find Kairi's face as creepy in the English version. I though it was an improvment and that ger face was creepier in the Japanese version because she stared so much. Her face looks more natural and animated now IMO.

And yeah. her face was actually animated rather than a pre-render which means they must have did this to Sora and Riku's faces as well. I wonder why they didn't do it the first time around.

I was wondering why too. Oh well, more treats for us!
At least until Japan complains and Nomura gives them Remix. ;_;

I hope this means that Sora and Riku's faces will be fully-animated too. That was the one thing that bugged me about their scenes (and KH scenes in general when they use those paste-on mouth things). So, this is excellent.

Yes it was. I watched the japanese version while I watched this version so I could hear the japanese voices over the english cutscene xD

Yes but this scene has been modified so Kairi now has full 3D emotions instead of the 2D pre-rendered mouth flaps. Hopefully this means they'll do the same for Riku and Sora.
