It still is.
Compared to other games that have been around so incredibly long that they become fatiguing (Final Fantasy, anyone?), I'd say KH is still very much original and good.

What I like about KH the most is that its a tapestry of stories with Sora's being the main one. So now that they have enough characters, they can expend the story almost limitlessly in the non-numbered titles. :3
