I don't think they should have re-made it. imo, Nightmare on Elm Street is the scariest movie I've ever seen, aside from the original Omen.

Remakes are usually bad. Look at friday the 13th.

They remade that Jason movie and now they are going to ruin the legacy of Nightmare on Elm Street! No!

DON'T MENTION CHUCKY. HE SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME.

When I was like, 9, I was watching the 2004 ALCS, game 7, Redsox v.s. Yankees. It was big. Then the "Seed of Chucky" commerical comes on, and at first, I just said 'well, this is kind of stupid.' But then when I went to go to bed, I was too scared. I thought all my stuffed animals were going to fucking kill me.

And the first Chucky movie came out like, 15 years ago. Not old enough. I say that, even though Nightmare on Elm Street is only like, 20.

This will be awesome. Jackie Earl Haley did really good as Rorschach in watchmen, plus he's an all around good actor, they made a good choice.

You say don't mention Chucky, yet you're the one going on about it?

I'm all for the remake, the actor is competent. Plus I miss Freddy.

I think the only Freddy movie I've seen was titled "Freddy's Dead" and it was awful. It wasn't scary at all. I find myself laughing at some of the killing scenes. Maybe I should see the original before I judge the whole franchise.

i'll let you know when i find out
Oh boy, another remake -.-
Why do they do this? They just take good horror movies and make them sex-ridden gore fests.
I've never seen Nightmare on Elm St. but it looks frickin scary lol. They shouldn't remake it. Just look at Friday The 13th and Halloween... o_O I'm sorry but the original Halloween REALLY scares me. Idk why, but I am terrified of those movies. Sad isn't it? lol
Anyway, I've never seen the remakes of either, but my brother saw Friday the 13th and he said that it was more of a porno than a horror movie. I hear Halloween's pretty much just a continuous fountain of blood the whole movie. They need to stop remaking movies.
