What do you mean, this is the first time we see him? We saw him waay earlier this year.
No, it shouldn't be too hard imo. This is just what they're going for. (But they should go the other way around)
i mean in a 3d engine like unreal engine this is his first time in an engine like they going to be hicups

Gotta question the selection of that Aqua screenshot. It isn't doing her any favors.
I actually like the direction they went with Mickey. Give him more "human" looking traits. Obviously, super realistic Mickey would be terrible (and terrifying), but I've always wanted, kind of secretly I guess, to make the Disney characters more Final Fantasy like, even anime like. Just look up anime Disney princesses to see what I mean.
Disney characters come from a different medium. They're just different. Square has stayed true to Disney's original image, by their own volition or not, and it works, but for me it's not perfect. I'd prefer to see Square inject these Disney personas and worlds into essentially a Final Fantasy universe. That would just be so cool, I mean come on!
Disclaimer, this is just my personal subjective and biased opinion. This will never happen for a million reasons, but I think it would be good for this game's (lets face it) aging fan base!

Again, I doubt this is a hiccup. This is what they want him to look like, we can't change that. Does it look awful to me? Yes. Can we complain about it? Yes. Will anything change? I don't think ao.
game look stink! just plain bad! Aqua bad looking, Mick, too! Sad!
Mickey looks....odd... can it be another elaborate trick by Xehanort?

I also think it's his mouth shape that's throwing people off. That said, I think it's probably a good thing, since Mickey's perpetual smile in previous games made it hard to take him seriously when he was angry/sad. Maybe you guys won't think it looks so weird in motion.
I feel like Square should just release screenshots of the game which look good in order to promote it.
Looked pretty weird in the Jump Festa 2015 trailer. Not unbearable, and they've definitely made improvements in some regards since then, but Mickey just seems so robotic and lacking in expression to me. It makes me wonder what he's going to look like when he does smile.

I guess Mickey is a bit weirder to animate compared to Donald and Goofy. Their mouth speaking parts extend out of their face making the talking easy cause it's basically just flapping.
Mickey is a mixture of that and a normal face. If it's like the opening, it's not all that difficult cause he's not talking, just smiling. Looking up some other 3D Mickey footage cause surely there is some....

Just going to throw this out there...I think Aqua will be saved in 2.8. Either she will escape the Realm of Darkness (which would allow the first KH3 trailer to make sense, since Sora found her Keyblade on the shores of Destiny Islands) or she will at the end meet somebody else that will help her escape.
I wouldn't consider any of what happened in that mini-trailer story-related. I don't think it holds any relevance whatsoever.
This sounds quite more possible at least. I think 0.2 will at least lead to the point in the story where she gets saved, even though I still don't think they'll have her saved just now. Dunno, I think all of that will happen in "teh bigzZ geam."

I don't think that ACTUALLY happened, but I think it was alluding to her escaping the Realm of Darkness at the beginning or near the beginning of KH3.

Of course it does, even it it's just symbolic it was put there for a reason. Nomura wanted everyone to know that he didn't forget about the series. I actually wouldn't be surprised if we see some canon variant of this scene.
