Can it subconsciously make you more inclined to buy the product if or when the opportunity arises? Maybe.

But it doesn't do anything immediate for me as far as I can tell. When you can identify the fact that ads are using sexual images to entice you as a consumer, it doesn't do much. But, hey, may make me want to watch more porn.

in a way you are correct. one marketing tactic towards audiences of both genders is to apply the other gender being sexy or appearing with less clothes. However in this circumstance the object that's being beught is barely shown. if they wanted to use sex appeal in order to win the eyes of certain people in order to buy it. i'd reccomend one of the ladies in the clothes they're already skating somewhere on the wakeboard. or switch the gender to apply it to females. it's really up to whosever project this is to decide what audience they're applying to and how they intend to do such. :wink:

well in all seriousness there could be some points to where it will persuade the viewers of this product, well in this situation it does persuade me to buy the product. Even though the women maybe an add-on, the fact that the theme is going towards to the board..so does persuade me to buy the product.
