Naruto or Dragonball?

It's an action type game that has gameplay similar to that of Super Smash Bros. They had a review on X-Play about 2 or 3 years ago on their "Japanese Special" episode. It's a pretty good game (it got a 4 out of 5 I think) and I really wish I had bought that DS last Christmas so I could play it (saw it in an Animation store). They made a sequel called Jump Ultimate Stars that came out last month on the 23.

OK, with the increasing popularity of Naruto, some say it could replace or be better than the Dragonball series. Personally, I think both are great and are equal. So my question to you is "which is better?".Oh, and second question, who would win? Goku or 15-year-old Naruto?

lol Naruto is the NEW Dragonball and is much better (you get what i mean), you can't compare two different anime characters to see who is better, but it would be Goku no doubt.

I think they are both equally good series...untill it comes to the ridiculous 6 episode battles....god i hated those. They just dragged on and on...I'd have to go with naruto really. At least Naruto's long battles arn't crazy long like the "Cell Games" in DBZ

funny, i was always under the assumption that a grown up naruto would not be able to destroy a planet, while freeza could destroy one, and goku is god-knows-how-much stronger then freeza at this point.

The people in Naruto are not ninjas. Ninjas assassinate. The only character I've seen on that show that could qualify as a ninja is Zabuza. Maybe, but it's a stretch, Itachi. Still, it's a good storyline with plenty of references to Japanese culture. Similarly, Dragon Ball is based off of Chinese culture. More specificly, "Journey to the West". Naruto's a good show. But I like DBZ better.

As for the fight, there's no way Naruto could take down Goku. Goku can destroy a planet. He can move around the world within a second. He can fly. Naruto just clones and makes a ball of spinning wind.

Read the manga scans then. The fillers are suckage and just made for time to pass. Presonally I stopped wathing the fillers and dosen´t think of em as a part of Naruto.

Compere the mangas instead, it is more fair. Fillers are gone and DB battle senes are shorter (I think, haven´t seen or read it...)

I say Naruto, but I can´t compere cuse I only have seen some random episodes from Cell and Buu saga...:glare:

Gaara kills by instinct. With that logic, you'd think predators were assassins. As for Orochimaru, yeah. I'd forgoten about him. =P

GT is seperate from Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z. And yes. It's garbage. Akira Toriyama (the original creator) had nothing to do with it, other than character design.

Naruto and DBZ are both excellent animes. I still find it annoying that so many people think that DBZ is the same thing over and over again because it's not. FireFox. is right.

If you are a die hard fan like some ppl are and have actually watched saga after saga, you'll see that different things happen but the dragonballs simply are involved a lot.

Also there are quite a few sagas where the dragonballs are never even used at all.

Finally there is the question of Naruto vs. Goku. There is no way that Naruto could be Goku and the reason is simple. In Naruto the fighting isn't as intense or dangerous as DBZ. DBZ characters such as Goku can use attacks capable of easily destroying an entire planet, while Naruto attacks though they can be powerful aren't anywhere near as damaging as DBZ ones.

The highest level of power for Goku to reach was Super Saiyan 4 and in this form he was strong enough to hold his own against the most powerful foe in the universe(literally). Naruto however in his strongest form(4-tailed Kyuubi) was able to easily cause high levels of damage to Orochimaru who is quite powerful, but not the strongest in the universe.........Goku would massacre Naruto, but it would be an interesting fight to watch.

All in all both animes are awesome.

Yep, you're are most definitely correct. Dragon Ball Gt destroyed a story that could've been some much better. It was utterly rushed.

Well, Naruto copies off of DBZ on multiple occasions. DBZ is better, and the new game brings it back into the spotlight.

In my eyes, DBZ is the best anime known to man. Naruto is just an anime that gets tied up in 2nd place.

Progressing on, Goku would destroy Naruto instantly.

You can't really compare any DBZ character, (Sayian Wise) with Naruto characters. Sayians are just to powerful. Level, energy, power, strenght can't compare to that of Naruto's

were naruto an actual ninja, instead of some 15 year old retard in a jumpsuit, he would be able to beat goku. a ninja must be stealthy, naruto must be a weak and stupid attention hog. a ninja must kill quickly, naruto must stretch a battle out for up to 10 episodes. ect ect
