Well i think it's xehanort of KH1. Also i would like to say this to add on. Xehanort's heartless was able to go into Riku and use both voices. Also i don't think because he was a heartless that he could also go inside Riku then try to seal Riku in him to show his form. Another thing don't just think the video is what happens 100%. It could just show how DS hides in the dust in the video. It could just be how KH1 video showed the fight for KH2. So it could mean alot of things. DS hides from the cloud of dust, he seals himself in MX like Xehanort did with Riku, or something.

Well. I doubt MX ALONE is Xehanort's heartless. I think the DS or Terra have to play some role in that. <.<; I'm really pushing the DS being part of Xehanort from Kh1. Or it could be him alone. Who knows.

The extended secret ending was just a concept video, and is subject to change - but right now, all we have to go on it that Master Xehanort appears to replicate himself in the video. Perhaps it was just an illusion to hide the Dark Soldier's true identity, or an attempt by Nomura to keep us guessing.

But Master Xehanort was said to have an apprentice with him...

Another master of the keyblade saw this as a sign of terrible things to come. So he ordered his three apprentices (Terra, Ven and Aqua) to seek out Xehanort and his cohort.

So somehow I doubt that the Dark Soldier is a mere replica of Master Xehanort or of Terra.

No, Terra, Aqua, and Ven are all under the same master. Why wouldn't they be? They were fighting together in the secret video and Aqua protected Terra with that reflega spell halfway through the fight. So why, if she was an enemy, would she be helping them?

And as for this "secret character", that was referring to the playable characters if i'm not msitaken. Nomura said that Ven, Terra, and a thrid character will be playable. Personally, I think it's Mickey. He mentioned that there are points where each of the three characters meet up with one another and there is a screen where Mickey meets up with and is protecting an unconcious or injured Ven. And the reason I don't think it's Aqua is because if it was, why wouldn't he have just said "Terra, Ven, and Aqua will be playable." I mean. Hiding her name from us would be pretty poitnless seeing as how we already know her name and all that.

I think it would be awesome if they had a Reverse rebith Mode where you play as the DS then if you beat that you get to do another Reverse mode as Master Xehanort.

I think mickey will be playable in all three games cause on a screenshot you had pictures of the three games and in the middle mickey(but that's just a guess). I sure hope so *crossed fingers*

DS used to be a Knight, Knights in general being independant, but when MX controlled him he became a 'Soldier' because soldiers aren't usually the ones who choose what their missions, leaders and methods are.

Dark Soldier is a fanmade name. So you can't really classify him as a soldier.
