The Japanese have two reaing for kanji - the original Japanese (kun) and the Chinese-style reading (oon). For example, I'm pretty sure the kanji for "mizu" has the oon reading "sui," which is "shui" in original Chinese.

The literal word "roxas" is impossible in Japanese. "Rokusasu" is used, and I doubt that has a meaning in native Japanese.
