Hey there guys. This is just a discussion topic for hearts that do not have anything covering them up. An example would be that someone loses his heart, but it is not cloaked by darkness, leaving a Naked Heart and a Nobody.

Questions to discuss
Can a Naked Heart exist?
Assuming the above is yes, can a Naked Heart be an acting force? This stems from people's hearts telling them what to do. Another way to phrase this would be, "Do Naked Hearts have the ability to act on force of willpower?"

This thread is also where theories on Naked Hearts belong.

Um, PoH hearts aren't cloaked by darkness at all.
And they aren't acting forces. So I would say no.

Hmmm... I guess that a "naked hearts" isn't something possible in KH... It either is cloaked by darkness or it needs a wessel.. Like Kairis heart for example. It went to Sora.

True, but what I'm saying is if a PoH lost her heart, and there was no one there to host it, could the heart survive and contribute to the plot, assuming the PoH losing her heart also contributed to the plot?

Okay, reasonable. But assuming a Naked Heart could exist, do you think it could do anything besides sitting around waiting to be turned into a Heartless?

Yeah. Looking back, I should have named it something else. I really got the title from the term "naked singularity" in astronomy.

Not necessarily. Remember that Org. XIII had to actually collect hearts? This implies that someone needs to make it happen.

Lmao. Again, not exactly. A heart actually becomes a heartless. But if it does not have any darkness, it can't.

That's what I always thought. Because when Sora kills a heartless we see the heart float up into the air and disappear. Org XIII want Sora to kill the heartless so they could collect the hearts that *I assume* become part of Kingdom Hearts after being released by the keyblade.

No, the artificial ones take hearts from people to turn into more symbol heartless. Like reproducing but with hearts and heartless.

no,i don't think that a heart can act without a vessel,it's the heart's desire that makes the vessel act in the first way..
