We don't exactly know, but I think it's been said that MX and DS have keyblade with keychains. As far as I know, TAV's lack of keychains might be because of their Apprentice-ship and DS having one might just be an act of rebellion by both him and his master. Alternately, it might have to do with who they're Appentice to. Some masters might think that they're appentices shouldn't have keychains until they hit masterhood, while others might think otherwise or don't even consider it.

Their is no keyblade from the inbetween realm. The soul eater turned into the way to dawn.
