My School is full of crap

Since when is a wish a threat?
A wish is a wish.
A threat is a threat.
And unless you have some sort of magical powers that aint gonna change.

Let's say (HYPOTHETICALLY before anyone freaks out) i said i wished you were dead, that doesn't mean i will in any way attempt to fulfill that wish.

The thing is some people would try to fulfill that wish and with how crazy people are now a days they can't take the risk. Would you be pissed and feel threatened if you learned someone wanted you dead? (Wishing is wanting). Now I'm not saying they should have took him to court or anything, I'm just saying I can see why they would freak out. There are people who would try to kill someone they didn't like. That's usually how school shootings happen, first the person resents the other person/group, then the person wishes the person/group was dead, then the person decided they are going to make their wish come true and they bring a gun to school and start shooting people.

John (the kid from my school who did the exact same thing) wrote a song about our principal dying. It was very detailed and graphic and it sounded as if he had been thinking of his death for a long time. He talked about gouging the principal's eyes out and watching him bleed to death and shooting him with different types of guns (which he owned at the time) and watching him die slowly and torturing him etc. The administration saw that as a planned killing and took it as a threat. If Juan did the same thing then saying I wish after telling exactly how he would die is not going to hide the fact that he has thought of this very thoroughly probably time and time again.

Just to let you guys know the entire thing has been resolved the people who were suspended are now back and their days are cleared off their records(because they're parents were pissed off) and basically we made ourselves look like morons because in the newspaper they've had 3 articles about us like how we misspelled the word suspended which was wrong but I already knew that we handle the thing in the wrong way from the start I mean the protest was fine but some people took to the xtreme a little like my friend who said F*** Dr. Craft on Xanga which is our principle

This kind of stuff always happens in middle white america. And it wont change for a while. Trust me. Old white people are scared of anything that involves youth speaking thier mind.

Well I have one question this is something a friend told me awhile back: She said that our assisstant Principle said that your 1st Amendment a.k.a free speech gets taken away when you step foot on school ground well I said that was total BullSh*t because if that was the case then when I go anyway else then it gets taken away do you guys think that is true

It depends on how docile your school mates are. The kids in my school are vicious when it come to rights. If we feel like our rights are being taken away we protest and act up (childish I know, but it works). Once the principal was trying to take some ads and articles out of our school paper and we were not having it, we turned it into a legal matter (in which we won). Your right to have rights depends on how much your kids are willing to rebel and how far they are willing to take it.

Here's what they should do about computer discipline.

They should create some sort of way where only the people who abuse what they are doing lose priveledges, instead of the whole building having to pay the price. All because some idiots wanna get off with porn. >_>

What school isn't full of crap? My school is clogged full of people in the hallways whether it's people kissing other people or talking it's clogged full of people in my hallways at school. The hallways are clogged like the arteries of someone who eats purely Mc Donalds every day.

It violates free speech, yes, it revokes the right, yes...
But they can only really suspend on any semi-decent grounds if he did it at school. However, if he did it at home, then you can really get your school on that.

I can bet in the near future that in the U.S. school systems, that there will be a computer revolution. Either the school systems will block out all sites that aren't "educational", or the students will rebel to a point where only porn is blocked, and you can't get in trouble.

Actually...It'll have to be that all classes will involve computers, even if it's just downloading homework or something. Except for P.E., which is stupid anyways. xP

well the teachers and students both ahve edges, but the teachers is bigger

teachers controll your grades, which can get you to repeat the grade over and over again, but they also controll wether you get to colledge or not, cuase not alot of people can get good jobs if they were kicked out of highschool, er droped out.

the students however, can get bad grades, itll screw up their own lives for a while, but the teachers will get fired, but the pay sucks anywas, so it only works on teachers who actully want to teach
