Alrighty, I've been with the KH Community for a long time. Pretty much since most of these fansites came up. When BHK was first revealed in 2003 from a trailer. The coolest trailer ever, BTW. I felt from the instant that he would not be a shell of Sora, or anyone for that matter.

Since then I have debated this case with many, yet not really solving anything. So here I am, with Kingdom Hearts II only a little over a week away, and it's time I give my last BHK theory before the release.

I've added everything together, from all the latest info, and put it into my own Theory.

Note: This isn't about him being a shell or not. It isn't up to argue that point. I just want my theory out there. If you have something to say, by all means say it, but my points will be in this post. So there'll be nothing to ask me. As this will be to the point.

______________________________________________________________

First off, I believe the Keyblades work like this:

BHK- Oblivion (Keyblade Of Darkness)

Sora-Oathkeeper (Keyblade of Light)

Mickey- Inverted Keyblade (The Twilight Keyblade. The balanced one so to speak)

Riku- Kingdom Key (A Guardian Key of sorts. One of no huge importance)

I, personally, believe that Oathkeeper and Oblivion exist as Blades of their own. A Keyblade Of Light and a Keyblade Of Darkness. One Wielder saved the Worlds, while another wrought Ruin and Chaos Upon it.

BHK picks up right after COM, I believe Namine takes others who have memories of Sora and transfer it to him. Why? Diz. He wishes to lessen the threats that pose a problem. He orders Axel to kill BHK, but BHK proves stronger than Diz anticipated

That is why Namine states you should not exist. BHK is so angry, so grim, so hateful, that his heart alone should not be strong enough to wield a Keybalde, yet he obtains three! And he was to die by Axel, something which Namine believed to have been taken care of.

Unexpectedly BHK confronts Diz. Explaining to him of the thoughts and memories he has of one named Sora. He, and others, have been in his dreams, and he doesn't understand what's happening to him.

When he firsts enters The Organization HQ he comes upon tons of information. Such as the screen of BHK holding his head. That's from the pain he endures when Namine tampers with his mind. Something that's been happening to him for the past year.

Now, when Sora went inside that pod, he slept for a year, re-gaining his memory. Obviously his Keyblade wouldn't just sit around. So it chose a new host, BHK. When Diz first confronts BHK in TT, he explains to him of the keybalde and where to meet if he wishes to learn more of his troubles.

Diz told him this, because he felt for sure Axel would kill him. Although an unexpected event occurs. BHK was also an actual Keyblade Master. Which caused the Oblivion to form itself into his destined Keyblade.

When BHK finally confronts Diz, the man has a sudden change of heart, telling BHK of the Organization's true intentions and that he searches for one who will help stop them.

BHK denies, stating he only wants to discover the truth of all this, saying that he wants to meet Sora.

Diz asks if he can feel Sora, also while hinting that he may have played a hand in this. This angers BHK who rushes at Diz, striking fiercely with his Keyblade. Though he falls right through him!

BHK is shocked as he rises to his feet. He asks 'What are you?' to which Diz replies: "I am Nobody."

A few words are crossed between the two, in which BHK leaves, stopping one last time at Namine. He hands her two Keychains, one of the Kingdom Key, the other of Oathkeeper. "These belong to Sora," he states, then walking into the darkness.

To follow his own path as the Keyblade Master. And to one day find Sora, and stop these false memories.

A little in depth. Hope that helps for explanations towards the subject. Well, if it doesn't turn out the way I want, that's what Fan Fiction's for.

i doubt the keyblade part seeing as how BHK threw the OBLIVION to riku, and the inverted key has been said to be from the darkness, the kingdom key has been said to come from the light

That's why it's called a theory.

And the Keyblade thing is all rumors. Of which I don't believe. And him throwing serves another purpose, of which I didn't state since it didn't serve a point to the overall theory.

Well if you piece it together like that it makes it almost believable! Good try and I hope that you find it your way, but I personally think it would be more of a twist for Axel, Sora and BKH to have the connection that I spoke of in my first post ever (which didn't stay around long) of the possibility of them being the same person.

I think you mis-took it. The quote says: 'You are the source of all Heartless.'

There are quotes that refer to the king. You may have mixed it up.
