Yes...Cloud is actually making a fanfic >.>

I would ramble on explaining the story but, I will give you a minor foretaste in the prolouge.

~~~~
Prolouge:
Every time we lie awake
After every hit we take
Every feeling that I get
But I haven’t missed you yet
Every room we kept awake
By every sigh and scream we make
All the feelings that I get
But I still don’t miss you yet
Only when I stop to think about it...
I hate everything about you
Why do I love you?
What is most important to a man who kills for a living?
Fame?
Money?
...Perhaps, Love?
He is an assassin. He is forced into a seemingly impossible decision. And yet, before he even gets the chance to choose, circumstances that are beyond his control force him to embark on a quest. This quests crucial importance not only will deprive him of something (or, someone) dear to him, but lives will be lost, chaos will insue, and nothing will be the same.
His name is Sumikati.
An assassin for hire deep in the midst of Anarchy that has risen on planet Earth in the early 3000's, Sumikati uses his trusty family heirlooms, the twin daggers, constantly uses everything in his power to aid civilians. The deep need for killers, similar to bounty hunting is emphasized on the people who kill, steal, and rob flawlessly due to lack of government. They are called undergrounders...and civilians pay anything they can to rid them. Although not an official job, Sumikati is a high ranking assassin that many can depend on. This time, as one would presume, the killers are actually the "good guys."
Things were fine, and people made due for several years in this war ridden world. Guns were no longer in production, so swords and daggers were of great use. At age twenty five, Sumikati is being knocked off his throne... another assassin, a female to be precise, has decided to aid the cause. The first female assassin being one of the best? Quite unlikely. Incased within their own destiny, Sumikati and this unknown entity will meet, fall in love, and be forced into an impossible decision. All throughout this, Sumikati's past unfolds, and his female companion learns the horrid happenings of his life, and why he is so anti-social.
Albeit, in the end...will Sumikati's heart be broken? If so, is an evil dirtbag with a weapon going to kill him, or an illness of affection? Assassin love...quite befuddling.
My heart isn't broken, and I'm not dead.
I am aware my prolouge is slightly, "short"...but chapter one will be long, plentiful, and informing. Constructive critisicm? Comments? Thanks ahead of time to any potential fans xD
Don't really like how the introduction is already a summary of what's going to happen. I'll keep reading, but it seems kinda... Laid out already.
When I read it over, I sort of realized my "laid out" style. But in reality, I tried to outline it without spoilers. Guess that didnt work out well ;_;
Chapter One: A Card Dealt out of Spite
Waiting...for someone to save me tonight...I've been waiting for nothing.
Sitting in the makeshift abandoned apartment he had found through his travels, Sumikati fiddled with his two daggers, Torden and Elaxo. Torden's runite blade glistened in the moonlight of the lonely night before the lone killer. It's black diamond handle blended in and meshed with the darkness, to the extent where it seemed as if it was not there. Elaxo's handle was of the most beautiful pearls in the ocean, and the blade was an equal treat for the eyes with it's green, adamantite surface. Sitting alone on his stripped bed of nothing but a bare mattress and springs, a knock was heard on the door. Slowly getting on his feet, and moving towards the door, Sumikati heard an idle word.
"Biscuits..."
Mumbling followed, and Sukimati laughed. That was his password with Raymond, a man in his late thirties who hunted wild animals and sold the meats. He constantly had problems with undergrounders, and Sukimati and him did not just come companions, but friends. Raymond always knew who to come to for an assassination. With all the back-stabbing and bad blood around, it was neccesary to have a password before entering someones house. Not to mention, it was rare to have a house in these circumstances.
Letting him come in, Raymond gave a simple wave to Sukimati. Sukimati stroked his brown hair, and his blue eyes almost reflected the moonlight as well as his blades. Sheathing both of his heirlooms to prevent an accident, he asked Raymond his reason for arriving so late, even though he almost positively knew.
"Problems down town again, as one could obviously assume..."
Raymond's black hair did not reflect the moon as well as Sukimati's did, and this was emphasized by the fact only his face could be seen on top of his dark clothing.
"You know the deal. Just say the name."
After a brief conversation, Sukimati bidded his friend goodbye, and began focusing on his target. Rizexa Tryeps, a hot headed undergrounder who established his own base (underground, as one would assume) to assist in his crimes. This kill would actually be worthwhile, and a healthy step in aiding the cause. Albeit, a man like this obviously was armed.
Hopping building to building in the darkness, Sukimati tried to pinpoint his target. Unfortunately, without his knowing, a man was sneaking up behind him. With all of the commotion going on, any smart person could assume Rizexa was up for bounty.
And of course, who else to do it but the best? This was of course, one of Rizexa's minions, and Sukimati could possibly know that if he just turned around...
Right before hopping another low-roofed building, the unfortunately unarmed man ran at Sukimati, pushing him foward. This left him with no momentum in his jump, and he began plummeting to the ground below, hearing only the howls of laughter of a dirtbag above him. Before he knew what was happening, he was headed for the concrete below...
Chapters are still too short and it feels too much like an RP. Try adding more detail. The story seems flat.
Chapter Two- I'd Rather be Tortured Alone
Though, all this pain and aggravation, causes me to feel I was just a card dealt out of spite.
Well, I call your bluff.
Taking a minor second or two to realize what had happened, Sukimati attempted to do everything in his ability to remain calm. He had been in this situation before. Albeit, when he was in it, it was training under his sensei. Finding right now a horrific time to reminisce about his training days, he swiftly grabbed Elaxo, and flipped over in the air. Few feet rested between him and the concrete. Now "standing" upwards, he impaled the dagger into the nearest building.
It put immense strain on his arm, but with this support, he was able to grab Torden, and follow suit by stabbing it into the adjacent building on the other side.
Now, this seemed stupid, because his arms were elongated to the max with a dagger on each side, but this method would use the least energy. Sukimati was an expert jumper, he knew he was pushed. A petty attempt at his demise, for lack of a better term. As if these dagger handles were a gymnast's rings, he propelled upwards, launching several feet in the air. Now standing on his daggers, his head was two feet under the building.
Popping his head up for a moment, the man was facing the other way, laughing. Grabbing some versatile shurikens from his back pocket, he hurled them at the mans neck. Ducking his head, blood curtling screams followed.
Placing both legs on Elaxo, and grabbing Torden, Sukimati jumped into the air. Elaxo seemed to "stick to his feet" so to speak, and he landed on the adjacent building, with both daggers being sheathed once more. Leaping to the man, who was screaming in horror, Sukimati spoke in a cruel tone.
"Who do you work for, even though the answer doesn't seem hard to find out?"
"I will take it to the seemingly close grave, scumbag..."
Angered by his lack of new information, Sukimati watched the man vomit up blood, and die on the building top. Sighing, and taking a minute break, Sukimati continued his jumping. After several more buildings, he saw a huge gap, downwards leading to an alley. There was a huge concession stand, and yet, as Sukimati crawled down the wall using the "Dagger Plunge" method, one would see there were no hotdogs or food of any kind. On it laid a simple switch. Down the alley was a strangely colored piece of earth.
Underneath a drawer, where a normal man would place his condiments and colcuts, was a red switch. Under it read, "Do NOT TOUCH."
Disregarding this "warning", Sukimati hit the button, and stairs leading downward emerged from the concrete. It did not take a detective to solve that mystery.
Cautiously taking steps downward, three hooded figures donned in black emerged. All of them seemed to carry a petty butter knife. Screaming and jumping back aghast, the middle one spoke.
" INTRUDER ALERT! Rizexa MUST BE FOREWARNED! THE PLAN! THE PLAN!"
If the man had anything else to say, he wouldn't have the oppurtunity, as Sukimati seemed to just...dissapear. Oh, how these men wished that he really did. A moment later, a blinding dark flash seemed to pierce all three men. Then, three torsos with heads and three legs were scattered across the floor. Torden was good at that, cutting in half and all.
"This man's evil intentions are PAINFULLY obvious" Sukimati thought as he continued through the idle hallway.
