I really like them ^_^ i hate their first album though, i got bored of it after like 2 minutes, it's too dark for me. Their new album is much better, i've recently got a cover version of "All i want for christmas is you" Wich is pretty awful, but it's novelty ;D XD

I must say I love them. Although I do like the first album better (Our Lady of Sorrows is my favorite song of their's) the new album kicks major a**! The bonus track (only available on the Japanese album) "Bury Me in Black" still has some of the sound from their first album, so, that's probably my fave on Revenge. But of the main tracks it comes down to Thank You For the Venom and Give 'Em Hell, Kid. Awesome band, and from what my friend who went to Warped without me (I still owe a butt kicking for that) says, they are really nice and very down to earth.

Also, though I do agree with Cloud_Unchained about MTv's major a**-suckage, if any of you ever get the chance to see the entire video (which if you have insomnia like me, you will) for The Ghost of You, watch it. It's absolutely beautiful, just like all their videos, and yes, I have seen all 6 of them. I'm not afraid to admit that it got me a little choked up.

And my final side note, technically they like to say they play "violent pop" although to me it seems like a mix of emocore, screamo, and punk.

MCR is not screamo. Screamo actually screams. MCR isn't emocore either. Silverstein is emocore.

Bury Me In Black and All I Want For Christmas Is You must be my favorite covers of all time.

I said a mixture of the genres. If you listen to I Never Told You What I Do For a Living, Gerard definately screams (there are other songs he screams on as well, but that is the first that came to mind). Also, live, Gerard does a lot of screaming/growling/howling. Also, if you want to say screamo is a band that screams, then you would have to include the old Avenged Sevenfold, and they're so not screamo it's not funny.

Plus, Frank tends to do a lot of screaming in his back-up vocals, just like he did when he was the lead vocalist for Pencey Prep. By the way, for all the MCR fans out there, you should definately check out Pencey Prep's album Heartbreak in Stereo, it's effin' awesome. I love Trying to Escape the Inevitable. Great music and Frank on lead vocals is interesting.

Anyway, I do agree that those are great covers, although it is a little weird to hear My Chem singing a Mariah Carey song. Also, their cover of Jack the Ripper is awesome. And don't even get me started on MCR and The Used's cover of Under Pressure...

Also, Cloud, I must say, it's nice to finally find someone who has heard more than just the three singles from Revenge. I give you kudos and a special brownie.

I have all three albums. And yeah, it's cool. It's nice meeting someone who actually is a REAL FAN.

They are crazy cool! The only problem is that most people I know HATE them! They call them posers and stuff. But I think they are awsome. "Thanks for the venom, To the end, and The jetset life is gonna kill you" are my favorite songs, but I still like all the others.

I have only heard one of their songs which is "Helena" so i can't really judge if they're good or not. But that song is ok...a bit of a weird film clip...o_O
