YES! Good man.
That was the first anime film I ever watched, its what made me fall in love with anime.

But yeah, Akira is a classic. I'd also check out any Miyazaki film, they are all worth a watch at least once.

I'd watch Samurai X, its based on another anime/manga called Rurouni Kenshin, but its set before the story starts so you don't really need any pre-existing knowledge, it just makes it more epic.

I so wanted the Full Metal Alchemist Movie .Ruler of Shambala? I think that's the name of it. Feel free to correct me if Im wrong. A old friend of mine, a long time ago, showed me a movie (if it was a movie) called 3X3 Eyes. I kinda liked it way back when, but right now I dont remember it very well. I've seen Howls Moving Castle and Spirited Away. Nice. Want to see that Bleach Movie(love the Bankai Zetsa Zangetsu).

The FMA movie was poorly dubbed. You couldn't hear jack unless you turned the volume all the way up.

3x3 eyes was awsome.

Cho, I think when he means stand alone movies. I think he is saying movies that don't have a series, like Bleach or Naruto.

An example would be Karas or Spirited Away among others. Though Blood: Last Vampire really does count as stand alone because of the animation, Blood + did ruin it.

I doubt she's seen those movies and they're good even without watching the show. Unlike Naruto and Bleach when you have to watch every episode to figure out what's going on. :/

Blood is a stand alone movie BTW. That crappy rippoff show was nothing like the wonderment of that movie. :3
