Hnnngh, sold those SR Mickeys today, got 9 Card Medals, have about 5 cards 1-2 LCs away from max level and guess what? barely got enough for 2! T^T J-just one more card to sacrifice and then I can start pumping my last assist to max HP. Will work on LUX gain after that. And they've removed some Card Medal rewards from missions that were there before!! and Mig Medal rewards had quite a cut too! waaaaaaah T^T
And I went with Adamantines after all, and 2 YS SR+. Hopefully it works out ^^;

mmm, tittiiiiiiiies, wait, MANBOOBS?! NOPE, nope, nope, nope... Seeee? totally worth it! Every time you play through it it'll be like a whole other game!

also, I might get the goodies this Saturday, I know you'll approve ;3

Ahaha, man, that's a lot D: I did get quite a few of the SR+ Card Medals during the draws you mentioned, but blew most of them on ULTing 7/9 of my attack cards and getting my assists to the last stage of the process. Oh and I did get lucky with the next few draws - the final card is finally ready for fem moogles!! ...which brings me to the next problem - I ran out of moogles

Most likely won't use any of those though - the shtuff I have now is pretty much all I want~

And about those whys - Snake was building an Army Without Borders, how he would like to call themselves. You can recruit people and place them into team, one of them being the combat team. And from the combat team you could choose any soldier to play as in some of the main missions as well as most of additional missions. You can change your camouflage to get better chances to hide in the environment, but there are a few "cosmetic" ones, like that tuxedo or swimming trunks and yes that's a guy + guy date. And this is a guy + girl date. Also Snake's front in trunks
There are also a few monster hunter easter eggs, a few missions even:
First one, second one, and one of the 8 missions. Also, date easter eggs. You can skip to 1:05 for some more-interesting-for-you action ;D
And all of these things are one of the reason why MGS series are so awesome - the main storyline is pretty serious, but then there are these funny easter eggs that blend in quite nicely... except the wyverns, those were awkward af D: Still enjoyable nonetheless

It is, but it deserves attention. Dunno, just was expecting the usual strategic approach to it. Maybe Kazr's busy.. ohwell, will just have to use my own brains for a change

EDIT: wow, ok, looks like whining worked, because in the next 50 x10 draw I got an accessory and in the one after that I got 2 accessories. And a bunch of YS SR and medals D:

Aaaaaand then there's the ACU situation - with 53% price cut, buuuuuut the new AC will be coming out this Autumn, or early Winter, which means that the older games will get an even bigger price reduction. And the time that would take me to save up for a PS4 would surely lead to even smaller prices and I like I said - the games I'm looking to buy shouldn't run out of print anytime soon, or at least will have a "greatest hits" edition of 'em. Kinda shaky reasoning, but it's the only thing I got

Oh, that guy's Kazuhira Miller, he's been with Snake in a lot of games, as his second in command "n-not even for you Snake *b-blush*
Small but effective, I'm male, I can tell
Yeah, and that "say smth in his language, Snake!" "um, Meow... meow, meow, meow" "holy donkies!! YOU KNOW CATSPEAK!!1" "Pffft, 'course, I'm world class in inter yar know!" There's also a character in game that's um, a zoologist, but not, she researches new species and is called somewhat else. Aaaaanyways, you can "talk" with some unique characters in the game through Briefing Files or Data Files, to either get more intel on the mission or get a character's backstory, or the actual political situation in that period (although somewhat distorted, like AC does it) or listen to silly things like this (<- that "zoologist, but not" character) Just imagine Snake crawling though the brush a little too noisy and a guard goes all "HUH?! what was that noise?!" *Snake imitates a rabbit - screech screech screeeech* "oh, 'tis just a rabbit, nothing to report HQ!"
Ahaha, yeah, the nonsense is strong within this one, but it makes it a real fun experience in the end and then again, you could just plow through the game and still know most of the main story, quite enough to understand the plot and like the gain, never encountering those weird, silly and funny moments. And that's the beauty of it
Speaking of beauties - MGS4 had a group of bosses called Beauties, they had two stages. In the first stage you could be fighting thing and then, when you destroy the suit, whip out your iPod, get just the right song going, bring a camera aaaaaaand this happens I think I still have some of those photos stashed away ;D Doubt that you're interested in a longer photoshoot of her, buuuuut I'll just leave it here ;3

Do think so? D: After I've upgraded my Desire Lamp to lvl 41, I don't even feel like hunting for adamantines anymore... I'm just doing the daily missions to get those sids SR+ and using up my AP to get mog medals from the draw. I don't even know if I'm excited about the anniversary event

I know I used the leftover honey to buy anything cheap just to use it all up (still ended up having ~2~ honey on my honeycomb >D), but baaah, I don't regret it anymore, since I can't look at the shop now ahaha..hah...
It wasn't treating me like dirt, more like it wanted me to HP as many Mulans and White Rabbits as possible D: I got so many YS SRs, even though I had FINALLY used them all up during the honey event D: The things I wanted the most (medals and raise tickets) aren't coming by, as always, so meh D: I got 2 accessories almost in a row on my first four x10 draws, hehe... How many of those are there in the draws, anyway? 4? I know I got 3 now (got the bag yesterday).

Weeeeell, now I'm trying - want to finish the plant missions. Already leveled up the lamp once and have 6 Adamantines left. And I still have 4 of them on the plant rewards :3

Ahaha, nope, it's was animated by fans. this is the in-game animation with QTA from time to time. And yes, torture scene, almost every MGS has it.. well, except MGS4, I guess, buuuuut there's a certain microwave part of the game. Yes, tearjerking much. Also, ▲ mashing is real
ooooh, thaaaaaaat, nope, same deal with four bosses and there's nuffin' you can do about it ;D
Knew you'd like it And he picks up the cigarette in the end. He's also pretty cautious about littering, so he carries a portable ashtray with him as well. Hmm, I dunno, looks like they don't have the heat-seeking vision in the cutscene, just some x-ray mumbojumbo. Guess dead watermelons were enough for them~

And the perfectly in-synch confusion when both screens had something more interesting than their commander
Yeah, she literally says "you perverted old guy!" *kick* Buuuut most players don't find this stuff on their first playthrough. I mean, why would you be doing a body-check on a female soldier during a non-stop enemy spawn? Or why would you even think to mess with the projector in a hall full of enemy troops? Oh, btw - if you run in front of the projector you will cast a shadow on the screen and yep game over. Most games neglect that simple real-world logic, like mirror reflections for example. Sad D: MGS pays attention to most of those details and that's on of the reasons why people like it~
Ohyeah, and if you're interested in MGS at all, you could watch this guy play it. Although this is MGS3, chronologically it's the first in the story, even before the events of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 from Nintendo. He's still playing it and takes time to explore shtuff aaaaaand he has a nice voice, so here's a link to the first part. And here's his first part of Crisis Core playthrough, which is also pretty fun to watch~

This event has me salivating at the prospect of getting all these items. I guess this is for the guys who leveled up their assist cards to max, since it helps with tanking up the damage since you're dealing less damage without the preferred keyblade but hey. Awesome, awesome event.

Hmm, well, those do help... somewhat. I have max HP on 5 assists and boosted them with FGM R+ (saving up SR and SR+ for ultimizing), which gets me to about 540K HP. And then there are HP Up skills, that should take me a little above 600K. That and a bunch of the Second Chance I and II skills saves me quite a lot.
Buuuut no matter how many Second Chances you have you still need to have more than 1 HP for it to work, which in turn means that you need a few Cures on them attack cards. I do have the cures and Reflect Guards and Hybrid Ups on, and 7\9 are maxed and boosted with FGM R+, too. That gets me to 700+K attack and defence. I can defeat archers with one card, but it's those cannons - if they crit they break through your Reflect Guard and deal 200-400K damage with that. It is quite possible to take them down without any Continues, but it usually takes me at least one. Sooo, that's my strongest deck with my strongest Keyblade.
Now imagine what would happen if I used any other deck type + Keyblade

I've got about 250 ATK/DEF on other decks, so that... would be just sad. What I did though, was just take my strongest deck and put it on Rock Splendor. No Keyblade damage multiplier for me, but I do take down archers in 2-4 turns, which is enough for me to get the ULT Moogles and those silly caps, but I doubt I would be able to do much against the cannons. Another option would be piling the event cards - those require a ton of YS SR+, which kinda defeats the purpose of grinding for goodies, seeing as you use most of them in the process. And it's quite a pain to get even one event SR+... unless you pay real money. So, yeeeeah, effed if you do effed if you don't. But I'll take the money-free option any time

Anyway, tl;dr one needs 3 types of Attack decks maxed out, all with good skills nonetheless. That would help a bit more than maxed out Assists. And event cards are hard to get and demand YS SR+, which isn't much of an option, unless you're rich of course

I mean, why would you be doing a body-check on a female soldier during a non-stop enemy spawn? Or why would you even think to mess with the projector in a hall full of enemy troops? Oh, btw - if you run in front of the projector you will cast a shadow on the screen and yep game over. Most games neglect that simple real-world logic, like mirror reflections for example. Sad D: MGS pays attention to most of those details and that's on of the reasons why people like it~
Ohyeah, and if you're interested in MGS at all, you could watch this guy play it. Although this is MGS3, chronologically it's the first in the story, even before the events of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 from Nintendo. He's still playing it and takes time to explore shtuff aaaaaand he has a nice voice, so here's a link to the first part. And here's his first part of Crisis Core playthrough, which is also pretty fun to watch~
