FINAL FANTASY IX --- MELODIES OF LIFE

The city of Alexandria is filled to the brim with excitement and anxiousness. The streets full of citizens running left and right, doing everything they can to secure a ticket to be a part of the birthday celebration for Princess Aria til Alexandros the IX. This won't be just any year, for this is when the young Princess turns 18, entering womanhood and starting on her path to become the glorious ruler of Queen Brahne's Kingdom. In truth, the people could not have been happier. All was well across the glorious world of Gaia, and this occasion marked the continuation of an era of peace.

"With all of Gaia as a stage, Terra shall be revived..."

The Regent Cid of Lindblum was one who did not find this coming day joyous. Despite caring much for the Princess, his suspicions have been growing as to Queen Brahne's true motive for her recent actions. Increased military action, production of weapons, and stocking the borders with soldiers. The scent of war loomed over the land, and The Mist didn't help. Acting as a blanket over these Kingdoms, the beasts of the land grew aggressive ever more, day by day. Regent Cid worried a great deal, thus he reached out to an old friend, and hired the Tantalus Theater Troupe to kidnap Princess Aria on her 18th birthday.

The Prima Vista, airship of the Tantalus Theater Troupe, has arrived. They are here to give the Kingdom of Alexandria the show of a lifetime! Princess Aria shall never forget this day. The day she turned 18. The day she meets her 'Prince' Charming. The day explosions light up the night sky. The day she leaves home on an adventure. The day she last smiles with her mother. The day a sleeping power awakens. The day that started it all.

Trance:
When entering the legendary Trance, Aria's appearance changes, and her magic vastly increases. She can cast without penalty, and summon two Eidolons at once. With that said, many will notice her Trance is shorter than most because of this.


Personality:

A princess who walks and acts with grace and poise. In a long running line of royalty, Aria was raised as an obedient girl who is comfortable where she is and fears change. She is humble and quiet, speaks when spoken to, and tends to be extraordinarily polite to everyone she speaks to, friend or foe. She doesn’t seem to express her own thoughts much, but will gladly evoke the details to whoever asks. She does care for others, though finds it hard to show the deep kind of caring that people give close friends as her trust and belief was shattered when she found out the truth when she was a child.

And on that topic, she is very lonely; despite being surrounded by maids and servants and knights who will do whatever she says, she feels that no one really listens when she speaks. She longs for someone to see her for who she is and deep down she would do anything to be running on the streets. She dreams of adventures and having a life outside of the castle but loves her country dearly, and will do whatever it takes to defend her country.

Aria hides a mischievous side who wants to do whatever she wants, and is actually very haughty and isn’t modest at all about being a princess—she loves it, and will make sure you treat her as such. She does take things too seriously, and makes terrible jokes that you can’t help but laugh at because it’s so bad.

Bio:
A long time ago, the princess of Alexandria succumbed to an illness; around that time, a little girl was found washed up ashore. She was identical to the princess, with the exception of a horn on her forehead. The king ordered that her horn be removed and that she be the replacement. And thus Princess Aria til Alexandros lived her life never knowing who she truly was, studying hard as she would someday become queen.

During her childhood she was introduced to Cid Fabool X de Lindblum, a fellow prince and soon to be friend. The two saw each other often, neglected their studies whenever the other visited and caused trouble for whoever’s castle they were present in. One day, the two were lurking in Lindblum’s audience chamber, when Cid began eavesdropping on a conversation held between the two kings. They revealed to Cid that Aria was indeed a pauper and not the true princess.

Cid informed her, but she couldn’t handle the truth—all this time she was deceiving everyone. She wasn’t the true heir, she was just a replacement. It drove her deep into despair and for quite some time she refused to speak to anyone, shutting herself away from the world.

Alizarin takes the power from the sun, more specifically light radiation which she can mainpulate in an unique way where it leads her into a unique transformation. The way it works is that she uses the ultra-violet rays that produce the rainbow to give her special color transformations based on the color of the rainbow that reflects her mood.

The transformations are not so much on a physical level or genetic, but simply put the aura surrounding Alizarin changes colors accordingly. So like for example, let’s say that Ali’s original aura color is of a pure white color, but then she goes into a sad state. Her aura would fluctuate in the hues of blue. It could start out as pale blue and this go into deeper, darker shades or the other way around. All depends on her state of sadness.



Red-Orange: Content


When Alizarin’s mood hit’s a medium to which she is not happy nor is she anything other than content, a glow of the same shade as her hair starts to emit from her entire body. It surrounds it in a fashion that it’s a pulsating vibration that surges through Alizarin’s body, enabling her to enter speeds that only people can dream of. Her agile body becomes more agile, her movements more quick, and her attacks hit so fast you never see them coming. Her reflexes and other attributes of the like increase a good deal as well. She is able to aim even more precisely, her reflexes are more accurate, and just everything is upped a great deal.

Yellow: Confused

Girls are definitely confusing beings, that’s for sure. Alizarin is no different. She becomes confused quite a lot, and that reflects off of her appearance. This time a yellow glow emits from her body, but this time it’s In the fashion you would actually see of an unstable power aura just emulating from everything. The process includes a side of anger, but also the notion of confusion dawning on Ali’s mind presents itself with an unstable amount of power at her disposal, which for a very short amount of time, her strength is increased ten fold. Though, due to this increase, her senses are distorted as far as to say that Alizarin enters a berserk state of mind.

Green: Worry

Alizarin’s mood can fluctuate. That’s the whole basis of her entire Trance. When her mood becomes in a worried state, it must be a reaction to someone dear to her. Anxiety must be getting the better of her because in this state, Alizarin’s abilities kind of enter the state of healing. Such a gentle green glow her hands will have . This can spawn from anything that will cause her worry; an opponent coming at her, a friend in danger, or just anything that causes worry and anxiety. Her magical power in this state is doubled due to her reliance on the healing magics. It’s really nothing more to that. Just simply a healing aura that heals not only her, but whoever she is worried about.

Blue: Sadness

Sadness makes the human being a fragile creature. Alizarin is also a fragile girl. Her state of mind is always in a state of complex emotions, and when she becomes sad, hurt, or just simply embraces it all, her entire being changes. Her views towards life becomes nothing less-than suicidal, her eyes become overwhelmed with grief, with sadness, and just the pure angst of what is hurt. From that, spawns a cloud over her head; a veil of protection. As long as the cloud pours down the dark rain over her head is how long she is protected from all and any attacks. In her fragile state, this force-field of sorts protects her even though she is not protecting her heart..

Indigo/Black: Anger

They say that hell hath no fury like a woman’s scorn. It must be that they were talking about Alizarin’s anger. It doesn’t take a lot to piss Ali off, and it’s most of the time where she will admittedly give into the hate, into the anger, and just kupoing tear you a new one. Her entire aura changes when she does give in. An indigo, almost black, lightning-like aura surrounds her. This gives her a limited amount control over weather. Whether she is going to hit you with lightning, drown you in rain, or burn you to a crisp with fires of hell, Alizarin’s anger will be felt with every hit. She truly embraces the nothing that you don’t kupo with mother nature.

Violet: Happiness


Happiness for Ali is such a feeble goal in life. Even though she feels it, Ali has a hard time sometimes accepting it. Only when she Is truly overwhelmed with happiness, does her glow start to show. A fantastic violet glow shown through every strand of her hair, every fiber of her dress, and every cell on her skin. Alizarin’s happiness not only is visible through her eyes, but it’s visible through her ability to sense everything around her, read the minds, understand the fears, and get in tune with her friends, family, and even perfectly strangers. Truly, this is Alizarin in her happiest.



Personality:

Ali is as much of a spitfire as she is humble. This isn’t to take away that she isn’t down to get into trouble when needed, but she doesn’t go out of her way to make trouble; just get into it. When she is confronted by, let’s just use a king as an example, she will definitely show the utmost respect for the said king. It goes something like this. When she is around royalty, Ali is humble, honorable, and respectful. When she is around heartless-pricks.

Yes, let me explain something about Ali’s personality switch. You see, this is how she regularly is when not around royalty, and to be totally, and quite honest, it’s her true self.

You know how they say that you should always be yourself no matter what? Well, Alizarin follows this saying right to the very bottom and back to the top. Her way of being a “spitfire” is not taking shit for nothing. You mess with her, and she’ll knock your teeth in. And Ali doesn’t really have the sense of patience…like at all. If she has to wait for any reason whatsoever, Ali will probably do something stupid that she’ll probably regret later..or not, who knows. It’s all apart of her “Spitfire” complex kind of thing.

She also has a short-fuse to her temper. It’s not as bad as psychopaths. Let’s say, for example purposes, that Alizarin is in the situation where all of her sins, or in this case, her impatient tendencies, start to be put to the test. Let’s say, that just out of the blue, Alizarin is put to the test and someone really makes a bad choice, and calls her a name. She will go crazy-bananas faster than said person can swallow their food. Yup, that’s how kupoing crazy she can be.

Oh, and she’s also a little sweetie pie to friends.

I’ll just leave it at that.

Appearance:

Alizarin is a sweet-looking gal. Her auburn eyes complement her fair, white complexion and her fiery, red hair. She normally has her hair up in a chill axed ponytail that everyone usually will make fun of her for it because it’s so plain -looking, but Ali doesn’t care. Alizarin usually has strawberry lip-gloss on. Since her lips are the same shade, it just looks like her lips are all shiny and stuff.

Alizarin is pretty short. Her height is no higher than five foot two. If you think her height is low, then just wait until you hear how much she weighs. Given she is a short little thing, Ali’s weight is an even one-hundred pounds(that’s forty five KG for you other people who don’t like lbs). With her height and weight acknowledged, it’s pretty sure to say that her build is light and athletic. Agile is one way to look at it. Ali’s boobs are fairly medium. They have plenty of squishing ability.

Alizarin’s style of clothing is quite simple, to be quite honest. She wears a lone-piece dress that is black with a crimson red line going down the left and right side of it. She wears long boot-like shoes. Her accessory of choice is a pair of thick headphones. The dress comes to a stop at mid-thigh, but is in a long sleeve style.

Abilities:

Two Passive, Two Active, and one misc.

Passive:

Acrobatics: Not only with her body type, but Alizarin’s constant training within the Tantalus Troupe has kept her body is the tippiest and toppest shape it could be. Along with her good buddy V, they are apart of the traveling, Airship circus known as Tantalus Troupe. They both be performers, so in that sense, it has trained Alizarin’s ability to do aerial movements that could range from being agile on her feet, flippy tricks, quick dodges and rolls, and just so much more. Enhanced reflexes are a small part of this too. Precision has also become an obvious add-on.

Stealth: When it all comes down to it, Alizarin is still a thief. Despite her current occupation, she is still a thief, and with that comes the art of stealth. Sure, she might not be the best out there, but let me tell you that Alizarin is nowhere near being a rookie in stealth. If she wanted to, she could follow you for a whole day, and you’ll still won’t be able to tell if it’s her or not. She has silent feet, and combined with her acrobatics, just let me be the first one to tell you that Alizarin is one dangerous thief. Oh and those hands. Oh yes, them hands of hers are just like…yeahhh.

Active:

Offensive Fighting Style: When Ali does go on the offensive, she uses her agile abilities to go from one place to the other while still landing hits and all that stuff on her opponents. The way she fights is in the hit-and-run style. She will strike once, then manuver her body out of the way, and hit once more. It’s very strategic in the sense that she doesn’t really do combos, but when she does, they’re good.

Defensive Fighting Style: Alizarin’s whole defense relies on her quickness. Speed, flips, rolls, dodges, counters — their all apart of a single, continuous flow of motions that all come into one single, though very easy to get through, defense. Her speed is one of the key factors, however. Though everything else is needed, her speed, and ability to foresee the attacks coming her way, is one of the key factors to her whole defensive strategy.

Magic/Techniques:

Shadow Strike:

A technique that borrows the powers of Alizarin’s trance. It’s a combination of Haste, and quick strikes, this technique is as it says. It’s a shadow strike due to the fact that Alizarin uses the shadows as a way to keep herself hidden away. Her feet are silent, and only the sound of a cutting blade will be heard when she strikes her opponents with a single strike that can deal all sorts of damage pending on the amount of force put into the core of the strike.

Haste:

Simply put, Alizarin can speed her movements excel faster giving her a quicker reaction time to attacks.

Slow:

The same thing as Haste, but the opposite in every aspect. Alizarin can slow down time for a short amount of time or as an alternative, she can slow down the movements of her opponents for the same amount of limited time.

Silent Stalker Sword Technique:

By utilizing her talents in the art of stealth, and other aspects that come with being a hybrid of a thief and ninja, Alizarin uses the shadows as a way of concealing her appearance. But also, her feet are as silent as they can be. A combination that…well combines the stealth of a thief and the perciese stylistic aspects that only a ninja knows how to do. She can come from the sides, or up or even perhaps come at you from below via sliding underneath you. All of this is forged with her acrobatics, and so much more. To put it simply, Alizarin can stalk you and do it silently.
Bio:

Not much is really known about Alizarin’s past. Even she doesn’t know what happened in her life. She doesn’t know who her parents are or even if they’re still alive. She has been an orphan for most of her life. It was somewhere down along the line she actually found herself being involved with the local circus. She was able to make a decent living out of this, and this was when she was around twelve, I want to say. It was the only thing that Alizarin did that made her have a completion in her life. Mind you, she was only a pre-teen at the time, but still. It was a completion of life nonetheless~

It was only a few years later, at the age of fifteen, her performances caught the attention of the Tantalus Troupe Traveling Circus. It was really a group of thieves, but it was something that actually got her some personal acceptance. This might sound pretty cliché, but Alizarin felt whole with this circus. There she met who is now one of her best friends, a guy who only calls himself “V”. Ali thought it was a bit of a weird name, but it was what it was..

Skipping forward to present time, Alizarin is still with the Tantalus Troupe, and she is quite fond of her new family. It’s not much, it’s not a lot, and it’s not even ideal to what she wanted, but it’s HER family, and that’s good enough for her..

Weapon: Cid wields two broadswords that his master crafted to signal that he was proud of the boy's hardwork and diligence despite the odds. Both swords were created from a strong metal and contain a ruby in the middle of each hilt.

With this transformation, Cid's armor turns completely black like a black hole, devoid of life. His hair extends down to his lower back also turning midnight black. His eyes will take an eerie red glow that can pierce through darkness. His emotion bring about something embedded deep within his soul.

Cid's power is quadruapled therefore giving him superhuman levels of strength and speed. He can use the wings to achieve flight at levels that would destroy most airships. With this massive increase in power, he is able to use the most powerful sword techniques known to mind with relative ease while also being to pour more into his MP Attack ability. A drawback of this trance is that Cid cannot fully cotnrol it, giving him a beserk-like state which he cannot discern friend from for. He will attack any who he deems a threat to his power. He truly becomes an angel of death.

Personality: Cid has a strong attitude and is always ready for work. His energetic personality helped him earn the nickname "Cid the Pup" from his masster. He is loyal to Lindblum, and idolizes his father as a hero. He has a friendly and caring personality, easily making friends with almost everyone he meets. Azriel's words of having dreams and honor have had a great impact, leading him to protect his honor and dreams as a prince of Lindblum, though still he retains his upbeat self. Cid is flirty with women, occasionally asking a few out on a date as he does with Princess Aria on her sixteenth birthday, showing himself to be somewhat of a ladies' man. Cid is protective of his friends and will be ready to defend them without hesitation.

Abilities:

1. Vitality - The limits of his vitality have been pushed and with that his body can fight longer and more effectively then even then while also being able to fight through wounds that would normally incapacitate others of his level.

2. Acrobatics - After years of extensive training, climbing, and stretching, Cid can be considered one of the more agile and nimble of the human race. He can do flips and other acrobatic moves that most would consider too difficult. He can move with effortless grace almost as if he's dancing around the battlefield.

3. MP Attack - Magic is used to increase the overall strength of one’s attack. It all depends on the user to decide how much magic to pure into said attack. Any attack can be increased with MP attack but, the more powerful the attack, the more magic is requires.

4. Alert - Stemming from his harsh and rigorous training with his master, Cid can literally feel the world around him which in turn he developed a third sense with magical increase. It acts as spider web does, letting Cid feel the movements and presence of any that enters the area around him. This also acts as an increase, allowing him react to fast moving targets and overcome targets that attempt to attack from the shadows.

Magic/Techniques:
1. Rune Saber - Cid will intertwine magic throughout one of his blades. With a powerful thurst, the magic takes the physical form of a large blade resembling whatever sword he is using at the time. The blade itself is large enough to strike down a row of men. The attack has an increased cutting force to it but, the thurst is what gives it it's power. The stronger the thurst, the more powerful and sharp the blade will be.

2. Blasting Zone - Cid will lift both his sword above his head, forming an X with the blades. Magic is charged into the blades, spiraling around Cid at the start of the charge. The a bright light will shine green as a pillar of orange will shot forth into the sky, the length is all decided on how far Cid wants the attack to go. The pillar is then lowered on the opponent, crushing them under it's power while also burning the skin.

3. Scintilla - Taking his blade up, infront of his body, Cid will counter the first initial attack at him. Knocking his opponent's weapon upward, Cid will counterattack with his opponent having little to no time to stop him. He will then whirl around like a cyclone, slashing into his opponent with tremendous force. He will finish with a stab right through his opponent. The force is enough to knock the enemy back whilst breaking his armor if neccessary.

Bio: Cid is the first and only son of Cid and Hilde Fabool. He was named after nine other men who once had the name Cid Fabool. For year, Cid was raised in a carefree but yet Royal lifestyle. Not much significant happened until he met the royal princess of Alexandria, Aria till Alexandrios. They were best friends from day one with Cid's wild and hyper personality inflicting her like a disease. There was nothing they didn't do together when they visited eachother's palace.

It was not till Cid had learned of Aria's adoption that Cid and Aria's relationship started to strain. She had shut herself away despite what the young prince tried to do. For now, he would he had to focus on things pretaining to himself but, one day he and Aria would be super best friends once again. Around age twelve, Cid began following around a young master by the name Azriel. The feats of a such a warrior resonated with the boy's young heart causing him to more then likely annoy Azriel. This was significant for around age thirteen, Linblum was attacked with intent of the capture of Cid's mother. Nothing could be done to stop the kidnapping but, Cid fought as hard as he could to protect his people. Azriel had saved him that day and even considered teaching the boy. Regeant Cid felt that his son would need to get better with the sword so, he hired Azriel to turn the boy into the warrior that Regeant Cid could never become.

For three years, Cid traveled with his master, training as hard as he could. The training was dangerous, harsh and probably the hardest thing that Cid would ever do. The monsters were ravenous, nearly killing the boy though increasing his abilities as a swordsman. Three years passed by quickly before both men returned to Lindblum with Cid having finally grown as a man. It was around that time that he met Cara. She was much different from the usual besides the fact that she was ridiculously hot. For the remaining time that he was in lindblum, Cid kept with his training and spent plenty of time with cara even if it was mostly because she had to follow. Anything that happened between them was kept between them and Azriel. Life was good and would soon get better.

Other:

Cid loves to hold his swords in a reverse style because it allows him various attacks attributed to his acrobatics.

Even though he uses two swords, Cid can use a single sword with just as much skill.

He has a love for apples and can always be seen with one when not in battle. No one has yet to figure out where he stores them all.

Cid loves moggles and has a black pet moggle since birth named Shadow. It's unknown why the mog's fur is black.

Trance:
Cara's armor transforms, and she tosses her spear into the air as she summons a great sword. While in this state her already high defense is doubled, and every time she attacks her spear sends an attack as well.

Personality:
A somewhat bumbling soldier, Caralynn is quite the sight to behold. Despite being very beautiful, many are too distracted by her constant whining, worrying, and cluelessness. Though she has somewhat gotten better, many remember a time where she couldn't walk through a hallway without falling flat on her face. She is much too dramatic, taking things way past their level and insisting on their relevance. Most try to avoid her, though she always somehow ends up sticking to them.

As mentioned before, if not told what to do, Caralynn is completely lost. Whenever she gets frustrated she will then start complaining about what she can't do, and one rumor has it that she had whined for days on end without rest. She is a worrier as well, constantly a stickler to the rules and worries about everyone else instead of concentrating on her own things.

Despite her bumbling and dramatic nature, Caralynn is fiercely loyal to the Lindblum Royal Family, and will do whatever it is in her power to ensure their safety. She will not hesitate to outright kill anyone who even might harm the Royal Family, and will defend them and their actions regardless of their outcome to the very end. In battle her bumbling side tends to disappear and she gets much more serious, though even this side only comes out in the most dire of times.

Bio:
Born in the City of Alexandria on a rainy night, a baby was brought into the world with much difficulty. When she was first born, she was extremely weak, and did not make a sound. Obviously worried for their child, they begged the doctors to help her, but their medicine could not help--they predicted that the baby would not live to the next day. Devastated, her parents fell into despair and only hoped. One nurse took pity and stole Cara from her mother, abandoning her on a road far away as to ease their pain. All the while a Burmecian Soldier saw the terrible deed, but assumed the nurse was the mother, and decided to take the child.
He saw that she was very sick--he too prayed for her. And a miracle took place, for the next day, the baby cried and cried, healed. His wife took great care of the child and raised her as best as she could, and named her Caralynn Adelaide, giving to her their surname despite no blood relation. Though she was not theirs, they swore to raise her until she could go about on her own.
And that she did; Caralynn was a child genius. She was smart, strong, beautiful, and was kind and generous to everyone. She never told a lie, she did no wrong and if she did, she admitted her deeds, and only wished to find a purpose in life. As she grew, she noticed how much different she was from the Burmecian people. She finally asked her adoptive parents why, and they told her the truth. To their surprise, Caralynn didn't care about her past: only her future.
With that in hand, she asked her father to teach her the ways of battle. It was a very long struggle, for a human trying to learn Burmecian techniques was like trying to get water to burn something. Eventually, it worked, and while Caralynn could never have the power her father did, she was notably stronger than most humans.
One day, she saw a carriage stroll on by. At this time, she was cleaning and in her everyday clothes, and she saw the most amazing thing in the world: a boy, and he was like her! A human! Fascinated by this, she followed them to the palace, and learned of who they were; a King and a Prince. And as they were about to leave, Caralynn appeared before them, asking hundred of questions.
The King patted the girl on the head, answered what he could, and then left. It was then that suddenly Caralynn knew what her purpose was: she wanted to protect them. They weren't in any danger, heck they were safe and sound, but still. What if something along the road attacked them? What if they got robbed? Suddenly Caralynn was in her room, packing all her belongings, and followed them all the way to Lindblum.
Everyone was shocked. Was the girl mad? She knew what she wanted and wouldn't take no for an answer. To humor her, a few knights decided to let her join, but oh were they surprised by her skill. She literally clawed her way up the ranks, until finally, with much persistence, she was admitted to the Royal Guard. At that point everyone knew who she was, what she did, and her skill.

Trance: Tempus's trance is always active. Something that has sapped his emotion and turned him into the man he is now.

Personality: Tempus's personality is one of cold ruthlessness though he does seem to have few friends such as the knights of Pluto and Lindblum Royal Guard Cara. All the same, his cold exterior and professional attitude tend to turn people away from him. Tempus is highly intelligent and only feels the need to respect those that he deems worthy. To go along with his outwardly professional behavior, he is loyal to a select few and has a dry sense of humor which can turn sadistic under certain circumstances. He is confident to the point of arrogance, but as the strongest man alive, it could easily be argued he has the right to be. Well-spoken and somewhat graceful, Tempus is universally calm, collected, and in control. He can be frustrated and caught off guard, but this rarely happens.

Abilities: Tempus is a level far beyond any man. Because of his constant trance and efficient training, his physical abilities have enchanced to the peak of perfection and has superhuman strength, speed, agility and reflexes. His body is strong can do many things that one would deem impossible. He is able to produce beams of energy by swinging his sword, dash past or up to opponents in the blink of an eye and can effortlessly cut through solid metal and concrete with his signature weapon, Muramasa. Being that he is a Dark Knight, he can use many techniques that revolve around darkness and the ability to manipulate dark matter at will. His feats and lists of accomplishments are long and wide, leading him to be known as a terror on the battlefield. His magical abilities are by far the greatest ever seen and he can accomplish high level spells with relative ease and even without the need to move to cast said spells. Boasting the largest reserve of MP so far, Tempus can chain together spells and sword attacks in rapid succession.

Bio: His past is foggy before he arrived within Alexandria but, one thing is known that tempus crossed the vast lands alone. He proved himself in armed combat against both former head captains of the Pluto Knights. Queen Brahne saw how powerful he was and quickly offered him a spot within her army. He agreed but, in turn he would be allowed to spearhead her knights and act as personal guard to Princess Aria. The many mysteries of Tempus are far and wide but, if anyone truly knew of his past then he would silence them forever. It can only be known what Tempus's true cause is but, no one will be able to interfere with the Tyran of Death.

Dual Blade: Basically, a sword with another sword on the end of the hilt. White the blades themselves do take a bit of a katana appearance, they are designed a bit more straight with a wider blade. The blades face in opposite direction for circular motion attacks. Should he feel the need, Azriel will disconnect the two blades to make two swords. Crafted by himself when he learned of his future life.

Trance:
Trance: In this transformation, not only does he gain armor with a silver sheeen, but white angelic wings appear on his back. So as to counteract the weight of the new armor, his speed is pushed to the point that he moves at four times his normal speed. His power also recieves a power boost, but this is only half of what he gets for his speed.

In this state his attacks that typically require a type of charge are known become available in an instant. He will typically use this added effect for counters should he ever need it. The downside to this is that should his armor be destroyed, while his speed and power become even greater, it destroys his body after the use.

Personality:
Strong and silent is one way to describe him, but he will voice his opinions about things. For the most part this is evident when Cid decides to fratanize with women. Because of his high morals, he will always try to intervene when his is in the area, but not to the point that he chases Cid down with a sword, unless something REALLY bad happens. Otherwise people find that Azriel is a helpful man. He's always willing to lend either a hand or an ear to people and this has gained him the respect of many. But this is all due to the fact that he believes in the phrase "Actions speak louder than words." With this as his own personal motto he will simply ask for some details on how he can help before actually helping, unless the act require swift movement.

He also has a bad habit of pushing people to their limits. He has trained many guards in his past, so it has become a bit of his personality. He prefers to help others advance in their way of life, but he tends to go overboard. This is why many people either hate him and then thank him for the help that he gave them, or just keep hating him. Because of the mixed opinions about him he has learned to always keep his manners around others, but there are a few people where he will speak informally when not in the company of others.

Appearance:
Azriel: Looking at Azriel while being femal has been known to be hazardous to your health. Not because he is likely to kill you, but because his features contain the perfect blend of masculine charm with the gentleness of a loving father. His eyes are a light brown color and reveal all that there is to be known about him. They act as the primary way for him to express his emotions and tend to generate a warming glow that many women seem to have been drawn towards. And then there are his lips. It could be said that they are well maintained, but they are just naturally healthy and soft. What seems to pull women in though is the fact that he typically has a gentle smile. And then there is the rest of his body. Looking at him reveals that he knows how to work hard. This is shown in the fact that his body is lined with muscles that most men don't have shown. And then there's the size of them. They are a bit larger than a normal man's, but not too large that they interfere with his speed.

As for his clothes, he tends to keep a somewhat simple style. He typically wears a black shirt that outlines his body nicely covered with a dark brown coat with the sleeves always rolled up to allow just a small part of the sleeves of his shirt to poke out on his arms. The back of the shirt is most unique with the buckles going down the middle of the back starting at the middle of his spine. And then just above the buckels is the crest for the family that he lives with. One noticable thing about him is taht he always wears a pair of gray gloves.

Abilities:
Versatility: Through his years of training with several different weapons, Azriel has gained the ability to use any weapon efficiently. Because of this many people never know what to expect from him.

Aura Alert: Through years of tough combat and surviving ambushes, Azriel has gained the ability to "sense" when a threat is nearby. Because of this surprise attacks and even attacks from multiple enemies become less effective. It's almost as if the man is able to feel the movement of air to degrees undetectable even to most animals.

Cover: His devotion to protecting others makes it to where he can seemingly teleport from one loction to another in order to intercept an attack before appearing in his original position.

Counter: With each attack dealt to him, there is a chance that he will see an opening for a counter-attack.

Magic/Techniques:
Chain Throw: The ability to throw multiple weapons on his person in rapid succesion. Because of this it is common for an enemy to be overwhelmed by a large number of kunai. For weaker enemies, Azriel has no need to even draw his blade.

Blazing Cyclone: A sword art that ecompases both Fire and Wind into the attack. In turn of events, he throws his own blade at the target to get it spinning to the point of creating a small tornado capable of picking up a normal weight person off the ground. From there he runs to catch his own blade and rips it from the tornado and sending a bit of fire into the wind to create a vortex of flames.

Scintilla: A block and counter where he not only blocks the attack, but because of the motion he sends the weapon of the target away to disarm them before he finally stabs his other blade with a jerking motion to deal four portions of extra damage before finally twisting the blade sideways to slice outwards.

Sanctify: By sacrificing a bit of his own health Azriel is capable of a devastating attack that covers a large area. Through this he channels Holy through his blade as he holds it up to the sky. The glowing energy finally shoots upwards in a brilliant pillar of light before raining down shells of explosive energy all around him. High chance to instantly kill anything Undead.

Blasting Zone: He holds the blade high into the air and concentrates his magical energy. The blade begins to glow a bright red to show that it is filled with Fire energy before he finally jumps directly into the air. As he falls to the ground he positions the blade to plunge it deep intot he ground where the energy will be dispersed to create a massive shockwave of fire that burns many to a crisp or just burning the skin of stronger and more prepared targets.

Bio:
Azriel was born into a small family consisting of him and his mother. His father had been a soldier for Lindblum before he was killed while trying to apprehend some thieves. But by that time he had already left his mark on the young Azriel. This mark is what pushed the young boy to continue his training with various weapons so that he may never appear weak to those around him. Azriel too this as a message saying that it was his job to protect his mother from all harm. Because of this he learned how to wield all sorts of weapons with ease before he was finally found by the Lindblum military. He was pulled in by them under the promise that he could protect his mother even better with the aid of other soldiers while also protecting the people that his father worked so hard to protect.

By the time that Azriel was out of the basic training, having completed it at twice the speed of even advanced soldiers, he was given his duty to patrol the areas while keeping who he is a secret. The problem was that by this time he was already known to many outside of the soldiers as a master of swords. And this causes some unwanted attention. But there was always one thing that made him keep up with his patrols. There was one boy that followed him seemingly anywhere that he went without really getting close to Azriel, granted he did have the energy of a puppy. The young soldier took this to heart and just let the boy be instead of pushing the others away since they just got in his way. For the first years of his career this was the case.

But then one night some time after he had just turned 22 there was an attack on the city. In his rush to protect the people of the city Azriel came across that same boy fighting to protect someone. As if to show his destiny, Azriel instantly noticed all of the flaws of the boy's fighting, but he also saw the potential. Because of this Azriel decided himself to help the boy gain what it was that he was fighting for. It wasn't until later that Azriel truly met his destiny. That's when he agreed with the boy's father to train him in how to use the sword. That's when Azriel accepted Cid as his student.

Some time after the training was started, Azriel found himself needing to go into the world for his family. But because of his role with the still inexperienced Cid, Azriel could not leave Lindblum. But then a plan was formulated. It is known that the best way to learn how to fight, is to actually fight. With that in mind he arranged to have Cid travel with him on his quest. The quest itself took a grand total of three years to complete. During this time Azriel would push Cid beyond his limits. Often times he did so by having the young man fight monsters far stronger than himself alone, but Azriel always made the vow to show up at the last second should his intervention be needed. Any normal would have been killed during this training, but Cid persisted and came back to Lindblum far stronger than when he left. From that day, Azriel had been staying close to Cid at the request of the young man's father seeing as how there was still much to learn. It was at this point that Azriel decided to forge four swords, two for himself and two for Cid.

Weapons:
Anais- A great weapon made from a simple idea. Its a customized sword handle made of magic attracting material. The blade is composed entirely out of magic and flows outward into the shape of a blade. By using his own magic Ubi Ty can give the sword greater cutting power or reshape it.

Gordon- Gordon is a small furry dragon that is about the size of a large cat. Even with its small stature, this dragon has the physical strength of a grown man without trying. It is bonded with Ubi Ty and grants him greater control over dragon magic and itself can speed up the process and summoning of dragons. Over time Gordon also grows stronger.

Trance: Outwardly Ubi Ty doesn't get a dramatic appearance change. His finger nails get slightly longer and sharp like his toenails and his eyes turn an emerald green and glow. The hair on his head turns golden blonde and spikes up and he gives off a deep golden aura. Gordon also transforms during Ubi Ty's trance and grows massive, shifting itself into the form of its choosing from many powerful adult dragon types.

The battle field normally becomes awash with dragon beings during Ubi Ty using it as he can summon multiple dragons simultaneously without strain. The output of Ubi Ty's trance is monumental, his own strength increasing exponentially. He also gains the ability to cast 4th tier spells.

Personality: Classy and explicitly happy and cheerful often times when one shouldn't be, Ubi Ty is an obvious candidate for a great time and great friendship. He's openly flamboyant and chooses to purposely exude himself in every way possible, so its likely that he'll be a pervert in conversation and actions.

Appearance: Yay he's hot. No shirt, no shoes, suspenders and pants.

Abilities:
Dragon Body- Being part dragon gives Ubi Ty enhanced physical strength, defense, speed and maneuverability beyond that of his own trained body. This extra strength can be increased by Gordon tampering via magic.

Levitate- Ubi Ty can induce magic around his form or other objects to cause them to levitate mid air, he can move while in this state and said objects. The heavier the object lifted, the larger magic depletion.

Dragon Magic- Able to cast spells like a mage is easy for Ubi Ty but unlike Black Mages or Wizards, his spells are channeled with the soul of dragons. Added force is added to each spell cast with the addition of a spell dual casting.

Bahamut Pact- As the Ultima Dragoon, Ubi Ty is able to summon dragons and have them aid him in battle. He can summon any form of Bahamut into battle by using up large amounts of magic. By limiting the summon to just a body part or simple attack from a dragon, magic can be saved.

Magic/Techniques:
Holy Blade- An extension of the magic spell; Ubi Ty takes his blade and executes a barrage of slashes on his foe which build up a gauge that determines the power of the holy strike at the end of the combo.

Slam- The use of levitation to direct a foe into the ground with an intention massive slam that involves a blast of energy on impact. This can be charged or used to multiply the slams involved.

Dragon Cannon- Gordon combines his power with Ubi Ty and the launch three pulses of magic from their hands to trap foes in a wide area. Magic is released from these pulses and explode into a moving column if magical force that ensues into a mushroom cloud.

Fated Circle- Gordon uses its tail as a medium to build up magic and then rushes into a group of enemies or targets a specific one, he whips his tail around, and knocks into the target, also expelling a circle of brimming energy that crackles with the stored energy as it expands and mows throw those nearby.

Desecration- The team collaboration of Gordon and Ubi Ty where they release the limit on their magical abilities and ebb them into a physical format. The enemy is bombarded with 8 strikes from both Gordon and Ubi, each one being more powerful and causing more damage while healing the duo. The final two strikes however release a terrible force that when combined equal simple devastation on weak and strong foes alike.
