Bio Past: Lan was born in a small town. He lived like most kids did in his world (earth) until he turned eight. When kids turned eight in his country the were tested for strength and intelligence to be inducted into the Training program of his countries dominant military. He was tested at "above average" in strength and "supernatural" in intelligence. So naturally he was taken to the Militaristic Academy for Advanced Youth. He was there for nine years before he found himself in mar heaven.


Bio Present: It was the day before his 17th birthday which marked the day he would be given his role in the military. He wasn't worded about being shipped out to fight because, although extremely strong, He was at the top of his class when it came to militaristic strategy. That night he went to sleep and he had a very strange dream. In the dream a cloaked figure came to him and told him that in the morning he would wake up to a world unlike the one he went to sleep in. The man continued to explain this world... this "MAR heaven" and its strange workings. He explained strange weapons called arms and in particular five of them that he said that would be given to Lan. He explained that it was detrimental that he must join the "cross guards" and for some reason, he couldn't explain why, Lan got the feeling that it was very important to his future. He woke up in Lestava with all his clothes but instead of his gun he found five pieces of jewelry that matched the description of the arms and soon after the shock left , he found a flyer and joined the cross guards.

Appearance: She has light blue eyes that people always say resemble the sky. Her long brown hair reaches past down to the middle of her back, but is always in a ponytail. On her head rest a pointy black hat. She has a silver pendent around her pale neck in the shape of a solid circle inside a loop, and the solid circle can rotate inside of the loop. She wears a dark purple tank top under her matching coat made from material that’s not-quite-as-smooth as silk, and wears a same color skirt that reaches down to just above her knees. On her hands are fingerless gloves, while her feet have a pair of dark boots. A ring is on her right ring finger, but another ring rests on her left middle finger. There is also a bracelet on her right hand, and a pair of earrings resembling crescent moons on both her ears.

Personality: A somewhat energetic girl, Sana is quick to trust others, and is easy to please. Her curiosity can sometimes get the better of her, to the point where she nearly used a ghost arm that would have cursed harpy wings and claws on her body forever. She never really looks at the “big picture” and focuses more on the “here and now,” which often leads her to dead ends on whatever problem she’s working to resolve. Despite this, her motivation for becoming a full-fledged sorceress is something that many people have admired, even if she has trouble going in the right direction with her training.

Rank - I train under the sorceress Dorothy, if that means anything.
How - W-Well it wasn't anything official... But I mean, I'm sure they'll take any help they can get, right? ...Right?
Goals - To become a full-fledged sorceress was my original goal, but now I obviously want to stop the Cheese Pieces at any cost!
I've been training with Dorothy for about a week or two, so not that long. To be honest though, she's the only one I've really been with. I was there when she and Alviss changed the sky back, but they were so busy I didn't get a chance to talk with him. That fairy (pixie? I don't know what they prefer to be called) that hangs out with him seems nice enough if you don't touch him, though.


Magical Power: 18, but she has yet to be able to tap into her full potential, so she is usually performing at around 12-14


Bio Past: Born and raised in the land of magic, Sana is well versed with mystic arts and a vast understanding of nearly every arm…Is what she’d like people to believe. In reality, she forgets many things about arms aside from the very basics, often giving a blank stare when others ask “What does this one do?” Despite these short comings, her parents saw the raw potential she had in her at a very young age, and she has worked hard to increase her magic through extensive training.

Bio Present: Nearing the end of her quest to become a sorceress, she was instructed to live outside the village for a period of time to train with the great sorceress Dorothy, who fought in the last War Game. She was instructed to only take what she deemed the five most needed arms in her possession. One day as she passed by a town on Dorothy's orders, something strange happened. The sky changed color and she saw what her parents had feared before she was born: The return of the Chess Pieces. She warped back to warn Dorothy, but she naturally already knew what was happening. All she wanted to do at this point was go back home, but as frightened as she was, she knew returning home prematurely was not an option as this would break her training which was taken extremely seriously by her family. She would have to brave living in this now dangerous world.

Also, you know that ghost arms permanently effect the user, right? Like one guy had used so many that his body was just a mess. The best I could say to do would be to change the ghost arm into a Nature Arm instead, but keep the effects. Nice temp, btw.

Three (Four if Shinra joins) is a bit of a low number for this...But I have an idea. The RP about Code Geass also only has three (or five, I think) characters in it. Something we can do is ask them to join this one, and in return we'll join their's. It seems fair since (I assume) they don't know anything about MAR, but at the same hand we don't know anything about Code Geass so we'll all have to do a small amount of research. Of course, no body's going to force anyone to do this, but if it's just the three/four of us we probably aren't going to get very far.

Appearance: Renn is on the left, standing at about 5'10 and he wears black sneakers and has a lean build his hair is brown and ends at his shoulders but is usually in a ponytail.
Personality: I guess you can say he's intelligent because he has an IQ that rivals University students and he's always sticks to the straight and narrow path regardless of how much he regrets it later, He's also very vindictive and sarcastic as a result as well and has a firm belief that Karma'll always get you in the end.

Bio Past: Renn was nothing more than an innocent boy as he grew through his childhood, but he never had a father due to problems in the real world. It was just him and his mother until he turned 7, His mother started dating and He tried to scare away any suitor because he never knew what it was like to have a dad but that changed as he grew older. It was around the time Renn turned 15 that his Mom and him had met James. A little younger than his mom Renn's thoughts had changed about guys dating his mom and he stepped off for a little while because of it, then surprisingly, on mom's birthday a few months, He proposed. But Renn was told the next morning at breakfast. Renn actually had gotten used to James sticking around, and hell he even imagined him staying around for awhile but it was kinda too soon for Renn to be faced with this life-changer. Renn disappeared for three days after that and the day he returned it was a really rainy day. He didn't say much after that but he did say he had sometime to think about it and nodded his head before he fell into unconsciousness.

After that everything was nice in between the time the proposal and the marriage blew by quickly for Renn, it was settled that the marriage would be on Renn's birthday and he was never told the exact date of the wedding beforehand. The day Renn turned 17 was the day that pissed him off alot at that point . People seemed to forget all about him and focus only on his Mom and James. He tried to be happy for them he tried to have a fun time at the reception as well but nothing overcame the sadness that everyone seemingly forgot his birthday.

When Renn came home he was pretty sad the only thing that would make him feel better would probably be a surprise party waiting inside the door as soon as he entered. He tried to prepare a surprised face, but to no avail. He opened the door to see the light on and no one except the newlyweds sitting in the living room. After today's disappointment he just wanted to hit the hay. But before he turned to his room He was hugged from behind by his mom.

"I'm sorry we didn't tell you...Happy birthday Renn."

"We prepared a surprise for you in your room."

Renn soon rushed to his room and turned on the light. on top of his bed were a couple presents and a few cards. Most of them from the relatives from the wedding. most of them using cheesy ' you'd think we'd forget your birthday?' type lines. He found a book as well as his future ARMs as presents. He fell asleep and suddenly he had a dream like he was falling. When he woke up he was in MAR.

Blood sword has a special ability should Renn get hurt, the blade grows bigger and the attacks get stronger, and when really weak, he has access to a special attack which sends a red energy wave at his foe the aptly named 'Blood wave'.
