Okay, I'm fresh off of the new content in 2.8 and my wheels are turning. As much as I want to be playing DDD, I'm stuck with the rest of you nerds and I have some crazy ideas to discuss today. Please try and act mildly convinced.
his true ambition is unknown and will remain so for a long time. So that's all I have and if there's anything to add, critique or just discuss- I'm looking forward to reading it. Hit me with your best shot, and may your heart be your guiding key.
Spoiler Showwe know very little about the Master of Masters (I'll call him the MoM), except that he is a fantastic dickhead and sort of like myself if I happened to have a petting fetish. You can PM me about that later. Onto the subject of the MoM, we know he creates the Chirithy spirits and mentored the foretellers like the sassy mother his acronym implies. But when he foresaw the world going to hell, he turned his disciples against each other and got out of dodge like your uncle on probation. The question is, why?
why, knowing the world was going to end, would he think he'd be able to go somewhere? There's one thing to say "hey, I can't stop the end. Good luck to you furry freaks" and a whole other subject to literally sabotage the efforts of people who have complete faith in him. The only purpose this would serve is to expedite the process, showing that he's an impatient man and he thinks his time is more valuable than the other wielders' emotions. It left me pondering what it is he wants, which I'll get to later.
he gave Luxu specific instructions which are mostly unknown, as well as a mysterious suitcase and No Name; which houses his Eye. The Eye lets him see into the future as well as view whatever the keyblade can. All that has been shown was that he was to wait at the spot the world ended, which begs the question for what purpose? And how is the young wielder supposed to pass the weapon onto a worthy successor? My best guess is that he's to throw the goat blade super far and bury his head in the sand like a dodo considering the Keyblade Graveyard is optimum dodo soil.
Nah, not possible you say? Okay I lied. In 0.2, Mickey made a point that he entered the RoD by going to a point where the world had ended and the darkness was spilling out. How does this tie in? Simple; the RoD is a time capsule. Aqua walked it for at least 11 years and it's only been a few days to her. The MoM would have told him a specific time and place to go in order to bequeath the No Name, as well as drop off the suitcase. The time would be roughly around Xehanort's youth, where he would train him to be keyblade master and bestow his weapon. This is where his part to play would end.
Xehanort will then wield the weapon and feel a presence emanating from it, perhaps even give him glimpses of the future: explaining why he's such an excellent tactician and always has a plan prepared. Regardless, something encourages him to work towards kingdom hearts. His goals and motivation are his own, but the deep knowledge on the subject and drive to utilize kingdom hearts to reach them are from his Master, and the keyblade. Finally, i'll get to Gwenyth Paltrow's severed hea- the contents of the box.
the MoM's body. I have covered that he is an inpatient man, so how would he reach present day so instantaneously? Hell, how did he survive the apocalypse (I'm pretending refrigerators don't exist in this universe)? The answer is time travel. He set the cosmic dominoes into place, and survived the end by traveling to a point in time which he already existed- the present. It's safe to say no one would have the sort of knowledge to remove their own heart like a mad scientist with a heart-scooper. By express shipping the end of the world like half of you waiting for 2.8, carefully planning thanks to his supernatural foresight and having Luxu bring part of him to the future he could travel there.
the series has proven that a character can exist and function fine with just their heart, and you need to abandon your body to travel, so he mailed himself to kingdom hearts' doorstep. Xehanort already is on a set path, sora will defeat him. However, the lights and darknesses will be gathered so the true kingdom hearts can be summoned. He used the evil goat as a tool to loosen the metaphorical dirt so he could plant his nasty trollflowers. I'll leave you now with speculation- why did he do it?
is he a villain who wants the power of kingdom hearts? Or is he something else? His actions could be looked at as cruel, when he has shown himself to be truly uncaring. The spectacular Master Spockanort has her own theory cooking that his omniscience could truly be because he is a sort of deity, and that he's playing a bigger role towards the side of good, but this is just a theory which I have no right to even bring up. Perhaps he is a truly neutral being who just wants to advance his personal goals and is just the KHverse's own Wizard of Oz, all talk, smoke and mirrors, etc.
