The magic wasn't really all the bad.

I mean sure, I used the magic in KH1 a lot more than the KH2 options, but they still had their good uses.

I never used magic in KH2, except for Cure and Gravity during Hollow Bastion when you had to use it.

I like the magic in KH2 much more than KH1. Then again, I'm of the opinion that everything was better in KH2 than KH1. The fire was useless, I must admit, and I hardly used it. But I did make ample use of Blizzard, Reflect (especially during the 40+ levels of the Hades Pardox Cup), Thunder, and Magnet. Magnet was my friend. *pets*

I hated how they took a lot of good spells out. Also I found most of the magic to be pretty usless, and no point in using. It is another reason why I think KH2 sucks and is nothing compared to KH1.

I used magic a bit.. In KH2, Fire was only good for clearing surrounding Shadow Heartless, like in The World That Never Was. I think I used Thunder and Cure the most though. I enjoyed the magic in KH1 more, they seemed more handy.

I think I used fire in KH2 the most in The Pride Lands, when I was trying to level up quickly with all of those rapid thrusters. That was its only use. Other than that, though, I made wide use of the magic in KH2, just because it was fun.
This.
And I just realized the name of those things is really risqué.

XD You're very welcome. Are you sure it wasn't already there?
And just to keep on topic, I didn't use much magic besides cure and blizzard except with the rapid thrusters *snortgiggle*

Ahaha, when you say it like that.... *lascivious grin*

I still think Reflect was a god send when dealing with the Living Bones (snort, damn you, angelbabe!!!). Plus, Reflect gave you its own little attack, so it wasn't just about defense. Besides, while I liked Aero, and it kept you from getting attacked, it didn't keep you from being bumped into the things you were fighting, and that always bumped me off the course I was planning, which pissed me off. At least with Reflect, there was a bubble around you to keep the things away from you completely.

ehh i used curaga of course, blizzard thundah, fire ect.

but i miss stop and aero from kh1.

the thunder is a lot better though in kh2, fire is pretty much retarted since it acts more of a fire shield and doesnt work well to attack. blizzard is good to end a battle/boss when you far away and you just need like a little bit of hp to take away from the boss. like in Xemnas fights! and many other boss battles, instead of having to go and chase them around and try to attack.

I can't remember the spell name but it draws a bunch of enermies together and then combine that with thunder, or just run away and use ice, thats the only ways i used magic.

I didn't find it that useful. The one I used the most was Curaga. After that would be Blizzaga, Thundaga and Firaga but anything else I didn't really use.

I recently re-started my KH2 game in an attempt at playing like a mage. Blizzard is worthless, Fire is mildly helpful, Thunder is awesome (despite it using a lot of MP), Magnet is kinda good, but I forget to use it, and Curaga simply isn't as versitle (compared to KH1, and, heck, even most FF games) since it uses ALL your MP, regardless of how much you have. Reflect is best used against Sephiroth IMO.

Lol, I tried that too, and I figured that I could never play like a mage again if I wanted to continue playing on Proud Mode (I fool around too much xD) And I think that because I forget that magic is there too, and all the magic spells can't go in the shortcuts it makes it hard to access them alot in a heated battle. GAH!!! It reminds me when I tried to be a mage in a fight with Xigbar. EPIC FAIL!!!! Lmao.
