It's a classic. I never enjoyed it to much to be honest.

Me neither D: Every possible, tiny aspect of this play had been analyzed when we read it in English classes, and that's what killed the book in my opinion.

I had to read this for AP (Lit obviously).

AP? I read it for freshman English. o_O
Granted it was advanced, but still.

Spoiler Spoiler Show

ooh I love that line. :3

It was. This book was epic and it actually inspired a lot of other works like LotRs.

Lord of the Rings? Really?
o.o

...I don't see that.

Yeah...my school district sucks. Go figure.
That line was pretty sweet, the only other one I really like was with the dagger when he kills the king
The forest moving to the castle, in the novel, the trees move at helms deep. (i beleive)

Hamlet was written by Shakespeare for one. Two, if you look at the plot lot Hamlet is Loin King

Uncle Kills Father
Son Seeks Revenge
Uncle is Killed after trying to kill son

I'm well aware Hamlet was written by Shakespeare, I'm saying comparing Disney's references and Tokein's is not the best idea. They're very different.

...why did you spell lion wrong again?

I have no idea, probably because it's 3 in the morning here.
To a degree they were different but you can see the influence

"Fair is foul and foul is fair, hover through fog and filthy air." Don't want any bad luck, do we? That's my theatrical side talking.

I enjoy the Bard's works, and Macbeth is one of my favorites. I particularly enjoy Lady Macbeth's descent into madness, for some really strange reason.

I loved Macbeth. I had to read it for a class. It was such a good story although it was creepy at one part...you know the one where what's his face ghosts shows up. I like the MacDuff family and hated MacBeth's wife. Poor MacBeth. He lost control at the end....
