Lucky S.O.B. escapes from runaway bus

IF he had just takin the frigin time to stop and think, hey, there's a 2 ton bus headin my way, maybe i should wait before i cross, i mean, it dosn't look like it's slowin down.

Obviously he didn't see the bus. It was probably far away or out of his line of sight when he started to cross the street.
That or it just accelerated randomly as it was pulling into the stop at the light.
