Jelly, you know even if I'm lazy at this point, I still somehow find time to show up during semi-important gfx questions and topics.
Honestly, as far as a website goes- I would not leave a banner, yadda yadda soley onto the reins of one person. I'm sure you agree. It's not that I think they'll get carried away or I'm worried about them not being around to do all of it- I'm sure that the time issue is acceptable for anyone who would offer their services. It's just that I don't think many people can successfully do that thing on their own. And what I mean by that is that I think one person's mindset or viewpoint on a piece of art is always just that one person's idea, which can be limited.
What I say is make a combination. I actually would propose a bit of a.. collaboration. I think you could get something pretty f-ing sweet out of it.
From those who have thus far posted their pieces in this thread, I would propose a combination of the more technical and clean skill and composition of CME along with appealing 'fantasy'-like style of Future. I think those two together might be able to come up with something nice.
I like The Midnight Channel's stuff too, but it's unrefined. He might show promise with a collaboration, but I can't tell yet from what I've seen. I mean, there are some nice effects, but all of that stuff is either too jumbled or too unfinished, though in time with practice I can see him becoming rather good if he wanted to. His current tag in his signature is his best, by far. But it still needs some work. But if you wanted like a trio, I think he should be your guy. I like how likes smudging. It pleases me.
But that's just my two cents for the evening, the ramblings of an old veteran.
