This episode was a bit of a slower burn episode again. There's a few things I quite like. The banter and dynamics between the characters come of as quite sibling like in my opinion which is rather fun. With both Loki and Sylvie being tricksters, I'm always questioning what I see and what's really going on behind the scenes. It feels like everything is potentially a scheme or a trick with their powersets.
I'm still curious as to where Sylvie and Loki split off from each other. It sounds like it was pretty early on seeing she didn't learn magic from Freya like our Loki did and doesn't seem to remember her parents too well. She also makes it sound like she has been on the run for a long time, though if it were from childhood than that'd have to be a really long time considering how Asgardians age so slowly.
I find the way they handled Sylvie interesting. She react to being called Loki, like if someone had dead named them. Considering in one of the shots the report for Loki listed them as being Genderfluid, that strikes me as odd. I know anyone Trans or not can have a deadname, but it does strike me more as a Trans thing than a genderfluid thing.
The Bi reveal/confirmation is also pretty cool and gives us a Queer character that's believable and has been with us from almost the start of the MCU. Is the fact that said character is a villain not necessarily the best, yeah, but if we get more lgbt+ characters I won't really care. Though I wont count this confirmation quite yet, until we get a more on screen representation of his bisexuality or genderfluidity, right now it's more theoretical.
