Chapter 6: Destruction and Battle
The carpet took the party high above Agrabah out of harms way…for now…
A large, black heartless appeared from behind the carpet and the party slowly turned around and looked straight into its red eyes.
“Not again!” Riku yelled.
“What is that thing?” Jasmine screamed.
“Get us out of here now!” Sora yelled at Carpet, who obeyed and started to zoom out of sight from the heartless. But it was useless; the heartless clapped his hands together, opening a dark vortex that started to suck in everything in its path. They all hung onto the carpet as hard as they could.
Aladdin looked at Jasmine and noticed that her eyes started to glow a bright golden color. “Jasmine!?”
She didn’t respond, but all of a sudden the sands from below them started to rise, creating a wave and pounded against the giant heartless, causing it to destroy the vortex. The carpet broke free from the vortex’s powers and started to charge out of Agrabah miles away to a desert.
“Jasmine, how did you do that?” Jess asked.
“I—I don’t know. I just started to believe that we could get out of this and the next thing I knew I was controlling the sands. It was so strange…” Jasmine said.
Jess and Kairi looked at each other. “Princess of the Sands…” Kairi mumbled. “That’s what the King said. What if that’s how we’re supposed to unleash our powers?”
“That could work!” Jess said.
Just then the ground started to shake; Sora looked out to the horizon and saw the giant heartless was yet again creating a vortex outside of Agrabah. Everything crossing its path was being sucked into it, and it wouldn’t be long before they would be too.
“We need to go, now!” Riku said.
The vortex grew larger with each passing second and everything started to drift towards the vortex. The wind was so strong the sand started to blow into everyone’s eyes. The heartless got closer and closer until finally it was standing just above them. They all grabbed onto a tree’s leaves near the oasis where they stood. Jasmine couldn’t hold on any longer and her hands slipped away from the tree.
Aladdin reached his arm out and grabbed Jasmine’s hand, barely able to keep her close to him. It was no use; they both were sucked into the vortex.
“ALADDIN! JASMINE!”
The sand was still blinding him, but Sora looked over to Riku. “WE NEED TO GET TO THE SHIP!”
Riku looked over in the distance, seeing that the ship was starting to be dragged near them. He took out his Keyblade and yelled to Sora to take his out also. The ship was heading right towards them and as it started to blow past them, Riku hitched his Keyblade to one of the wings and started to pull it towards him. Sora did the same and signaled Kairi and the others to jump in right away. As soon as everyone was inside and Donald was ready to take off, both Riku and Sora let go of the ship and jumped inside. They zoomed away as fast as they could as they watched Agrabah become victim to the dark vortex.
“What are we gonna do about Aladdin and Jasmine?” Kairi asked. “We can’t just—’’
“There isn’t anything we can do! Not now, at least,” Sora said. He saw the hurt in Kairi’s eyes and hugged her. “We’ll save them.”

“Satou! Pick up this instant! I want you back her right now!”
There was still no answer as Satou’s voice mail recorded the anger in his voice. He hung up and threw his phone across the floor, causing it to smash into small pieces. Max got up from his seat and started to clean it up.
“Calm down. What’s the worst she can do?” he asked.
“Screw up,” the man murmured.
“Want me to go after her?” Max huffed.
The man hesitated. “Just keep an eye on her; don’t let her know you’re there. If she knew, that’s when she’d do something drastic.”
“Whatever.”

“Halloween Town’s coming up; we should check up on it,” Sora said.
“I really hope those heartless aren’t there; I don’t want to see another world destroyed,” Jess said.
They landed the ship and stepped outside; all of their clothes transformed to blend in with the Town’s atmosphere. Kairi had a witches broom and hat on with a long black dress and Riku had vampire fangs and a red cape. Jess had black cat ears on the top of her head and whiskers.
“Look who decided to show up!” a cheerful voice called out.
They all looked around and saw no one in the dark town. Slowly starting to back up, they all bumped into a tall, stick-like figure and they all jumped and screamed. The figure laughed and bent down to their height.
“Jack!” Sora beamed.
“Welcome back to Halloween Town!” Jack exclaimed. “Listen, I saw those heart fellas running around the town square. Can ya get rid of them? The Halloween festivities are soon and I don’t want them scaring away the entire town,” Jack said.
“Sure! Let’s get going,” Sora said. They walked to the town square and saw that there wasn’t a single heartless standing there.
“Where are the heartless?” Riku asked.
“That’s funny…they were here just a moment ago,” Jack said.
Sora heard footsteps coming from behind and swiftly turned around and saw the same girl they saw in Agrabah. Her black crow mask was still on and her hood was down, revealing her flaming red hair.
“What are you doing here?” Sora asked.
“Settling things once and for all. I’m going to make this quick; come with me and all your questions will be answered. I know someone who can explain the doors to you,” Satou said.
Sora, Riku, Kairi and Jess looked at each other then back at Satou. Could they trust her?
“No thanks,” Jess said. “I think we can solve our problems on our own.”
“Then you leave me no choice,” Satou said. She summoned a spear to hand and twirled it around and pointed it at them. “I’m bringing you to my Master; you can be in one piece or in thousands. It makes no difference to me.”
Sora and the others got their weapons out and prepared to attack. Satou threw her spear like a boomerang, causing everyone to fall to the ground as the spear barely missed their heads. Satou stayed a good distance away, and whenever someone got too close she’d take a giant leap back and throw her spear again. She then switched to some fire combos mercilessly.
“Okay! We can try using ice against her!” Kairi said.
Ice combos started flying out of their Keyblades and swords, and Satou started to freak out as her spear froze to her hand. Glaring at Kairi (who shot the ice that froze her hand), Satou ran towards her and starting swinging her spear furiously, actually cutting Kairi’s arm and making her bleed. Kairi shrieked with pain and Sora ran to her side, taking her out of harms way. Now it was up to Riku and Jess.
They tried their best to weaken Satou, but it seemed useless. Jess was practically out of breath and starting to feel dizzy. Riku looked up at Satou; she seemed too powerful…
A light bulb lit up in Riku’s head and he started to charge towards Satou. Jess looked after Riku with fear as his Keyblade launched towards Satou’s heart and pierced her. To finish her off, he kept his Keyblade in her heart and shot a massive ice attack through her. Her screams started to fade as she fell to the ground and slowly disappeared into the darkness.

“What will you do with Satou when she gets back?” Venla asked.
“She will be greatly punished, no doubt,” the man said.
“Can I help?” Venla piped.
The man just glared at her and she slumped back into her chair.
Max appeared out of a dark portal alone.
Seethe looked over to the man. “You know what this means, right?”
The man didn’t move for about a minute, then he walked over to the wall and punched it, making a deep hole in it.
All fell silent as each of them watched the man.
“She was a fool. Worthless. Typical,” he muttered under his breath. He straightened up and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.
What’s coming up in Chapter 7: A new world, new faces, and a new danger. A mysterious man appears in a new world, and its people don’t think he’s a warm welcome. He’s keeping an eye on Sora and his Keyblade…
