I just made a list of comparisons between the Real Organization Thirteen and the Lucavi/Espers of FINAL FANTASY XII and the Ivalice Alliance for a friend to, among other things, see if Tetsuya Nomura and Yasumi Matsuno are applying similar leit-motifs and literary archetypes. What do you all think of this?

*Spoilers for FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: THE WAR OF THE LIONS and FINAL FANTASY XII*

Xehanort himself is likely *not* the Real Organization Thirteen's Ultima, the High Seraph/Ultima, the Arch Seraph... Xion is. Xehanort himself is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Zeromus, the Condemner, who hates darkness so much that his hatred turned him into what he hated.

Xehanort's Heartless/Ansem is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Hashmal, Bringer of Order. Xehanort's Heartless/Ansem didn't want to fulfill his destiny originally, but afterwards he became devoted to it.

Xemnas is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Zalera, the Death Seraph, not Marluxia, even though Marluxia is the assassin. Xemnas' moves are mostly those of a killer's, Xemnas believes that the heart is just pain, rage, and hate, and Xemnas sought to become one with an artificial Kingdom Hearts forged of people's hearts.

Young Xehanort is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Famfrit, the Darkening Cloud. He's not even an individual in the ways that the rest of the Real Organization Thirteen are; he's just darkness who fulfills his destiny as Famfrit is darkness bound within an armor.

Terra-Xehanort is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Zodiark, Keeper of Precepts, since Xehanort has his original body back so Terra-Xehanort is nothing *but* a fragment of Xehanort's heart and he thus has the most undeveloped and childish mind of anyone in the Real Organization Thirteen.

Child Vanitas is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Cuchullain, the Impure, since he was born when Xehanort removed Ven's darkness from him and he believes his destiny is to be dark; he didn't choose to be dark.

Luxu/Braig/Xigbar is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Shemhazai, the Whisperer. He's treacherous.

Isa/Saix is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Belias, the Gigas. He fell to darkness out of idealistic loyalty to Lea and an unnamed girl.

Past Riku Replica is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Exodus, the Judge-Sal... he wants to destroy himself because he feels that he has no value.

Marluxia is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Adrammelech, the Wroth. He's an assassin, so he murders quickly, as Adrammelech can murder 'with a single strike of his fist.' He's also rebellious not because he was victimized, but because he egotistically wants to assert himself.

Larxene is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Chaos, Walker of the Wheel. She's 'along for the ride' with someone that she cares about, as Chaos was swallowed by the turmoil of the mortal Ivalice.

Luxord is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Mateus, the Corrupt. Life is a joke to him, outside of the selfish aggrandizement he gets out of playing games.

Xion is likely the Real Organization Thirteen's Ultima, the Angel of Blood/Ultima, the High Seraph/Ultima, the Arch Seraph. She *hates* the concept of people dying because she doesn't have the power to protect them, and she imbibes memories and energy as Ultima imbibes blood.
