I agree with Zero, I want to learn Japanese, I'm re-thinking my decision to live there, and I might just visit it, and I tried getting a few books out my library, but that didn't work out too well.

Why ask? Everybody has a reason. The end goal is learning the language and culture. Whatever their reason, they will have to learn it the same way as everybody else does.
